  1. I'm pretty sure it's the object since that command has never been used even by Vashar, who is quite skilled.
  2. Kelseir! He's a successful thief so his boots would be in far better shape than a soldier's. Even a rich one. Although when he gets his shardeplate, maybe... Would you rather be a first son or the fourth son of a Horneater?
  3. Quond grinned, and looked around. He had snapped. There was simply no other explanation to what he was feeling. I mean, was it normal for people to suddenly start feeling all the emotions to be tugged on in the minds of others? And it made sense seeing what he had recently gone through with Teikel. This could be very useful. Maybe Teikel could die after all.
  4. Lopen is probably Kal's squire, so it would make sense that he could get power from him.
  5. Any living being: Should I read Mistborn? Sharder: Yes! it's Sanderson! ALB: Okay. what about Stormlight! Sharder: What did I just say? ALB: Okay, I'll read it. Should I read... Sharder: Is it Brandon? ALB: Yes, but... Sharder: YEESSS! READ ALL SANDERSON! ALB: There's this... Sharder: Read it! ALB: I was going to say "there's this nice hot dog stand nearby". "Read it" doesn't make any sense.
  6. SH spoilers: So Shards and humans can have bonds. In this case the bond was because of a similar intent/Intent, but worship could create a bond as well. I would imagine that a shard with a lot of connections with their people would have more power.
  7. When Shallan is in Shadesmar she sees light even for animals. It seems very odd for something to exist in the cognitive realm but not the spiritual realm, so i would imagine if that is the case they would have spiritwebs and yes, hemalurgy would work.
  8. That expression is awesome! Usually speech bubbles mess things up for me when in sketches, but this seems to come off so well! Please make more!!!!
  9. Quond yelled, threw his hands up. Fine! Kipper! Ask me if I care about who lives or dies! Lord Teikel will never die. It's all hopeless.
  10. Jasnah's soulcasti g is essentially the same as Shallan's, right? If that's the case, then how do their two different orders manifest in their soulcasting then?
  11. I got Rafoed for if Szeth was really a skybreaker, and why Hoid was drinking perfume.
  12. Yes, but there is a distinct remanant of him, in the form of the Stormfather. Maybe this is a release for the energy that turned the stars red? Alternatively, it could genuinely be a coincidence. Brandon almost never does coincidences, but he did say that he was surprised at how amazing Isaac made it. Isaac clearly came up with a lot of this on his own, and might have done things like this.
  13. Also, wouldn't a traitorous unmade be a good thing? They work for Odium. If there really is a traitorous unmade that comes into the story, it could be a good thing.
  14. Brandon did say that the CR was "a plain, not a plane" so there is sort of a z axis, just a small one.
  15. After a splintering, the investiture has to go somewhere. Sometimes it goes into the splinters, but maybe there is excess investiture? Maybe that goes into the stars and makes them red?
  16. I don't think you can drain a Shard of investiture. Nightblood draining the Dor would be equivalent to the Alethi creating so many spheres that the Highstorms ran out of investiture to fill them, and stopped happening. That seems very unlikely.
  17. Are you so sure that Helarian can absolutely not ge a radiant? He seems like he embodies some radiant values, no?
  18. So I've started to realize, as many of you probably have, that the Radiants have extremely different senses of morality. This is especially obvious in regards to Skybreakers and Windrunners. So, I was looking at this interesting puzzle. It's kind of a joke, but let's take it at face value. Ignoring the last few slides about the bomb. What do you think each order would select? http://existentialcomics.com/comic/106
  19. Yes, you are correct. This is an extremely odd way to introduce yourself.
  20. Your witlessness is rather unfortunate. Any more wits and I could see you jumping into a Chasmfeind and saving us all the trouble. (ED reference)
  21. This may be the only sight where every single member understands that post. Well met, my friend.
  22. Don't worry, our overlords don't care much about spike impaling and that sort of thing. Welcome!
  23. Join us, oh Lurker!
  24. What type of Spren are you hoping for!
  25. I guess you're right. I'll get around to them some day.
