  1. There is a way to use godmetals to gain Feruchemy. Does anyone really think Kelsier didn’t figure out that one? I mean, Feruchemy is of Preservation as much as it is of Ruin, perhaps moreso. And Kelsier learned enough about spikes to be very, very dangerous. But I do agree that he’d never open himself to Harmony’s control. 1 spike, maybe 2. Never three. Brandon confirmed that Kelsier is the Sovereign. As well as Kelsier being involved in the Bands creation and TLR not being involved at all. Note that he didn’t confirm Kelsier as being the sole creator of the Bands, just his involvement.
  2. Ha! I don’t think she mentioned that... Did she? I don’t think she knows TFE geography that well...
  3. Depends on the virus. And it depends on how quickly they can develop a vaccine. Smallpox would be devastating, especially since the easiest vaccine wouldn’t be available on Roshar. Cows aren’t common and cowpox doesn’t seem to exist.
  4. Huh. That’s how I knew he was from the Western Dominance. Where’d you learn it? From what I can tell it isn’t common knowledge, even on these forums.
  5. Yes! Question: have you read the Crafty Mistborn RPG books?
  6. Yup! The Western Dominance has more blondes than the rest of the Final Empire. It’s known for it, anyway. And Kelsier has been a king now (which everyone always forgets, which is why it’s such a great hint!) The other two are pretty obvious, and the fifth was just to tell you who he is.
  7. Also, said conversation probably would have necessitated spoiling Mistborn, which Brandon didn’t want to do. And, if those of us who think Kalak is... not a very good person are right, then the conversation could have spoiled it. So I think there were good reasons not to show it. But I would have loved to see it. Although I’d rather have seen the one where Hoid tells Jasnah.
  8. Let’s see who gets it first: This person is from an area where blonde hair is fairly common. This person is quite brash. This person has been/is a king. This person has extensive influence. This person is known by a title on another planet where his minions are causing trouble. You should be able to guess this character now.
  9. Nope! How many hints are we doing?

  11. Felt said he’d looked for the Nightwatcher once. I also think he may have been a sleeper agent, sent to keep an eye on the royal family.
  12. Also, gold healing is less than effective against viruses. Regrowth likely is too.
  13. Oh, there always is!
  14. Felt is a GB spy. One recruited directly by Kelsier, back when he was working with the 17th Shard. His job is to lead the GBs to Ba-Ado-Mishram, which Shallan is going to conveniently find for them. He was probably also backup on the ‘capture Kalak’ mission. The GBs didn’t expect Shallan to be allowed in, but not her retinue.
  15. Considering Scadrial could just drop a handful of people with the flu on Roshar and kill off a good chunk of the planet... yeah, Scadrial wouldn’t even have to invade. Just sit back and watch, then come in as heroes to distribute anti-viral meds and vaccines.
  16. It might be a more stable fuel than Ettmetal. The real reason is to find a way to get Kelsier off Scadrial, of course. But I suspect fiscal controls over the Cosmere to ensure Scadrial’s interests, prosperity and security is a major factor.
  17. Yup. That’s my theory. A spy close to Dalinar. Note that Brandon made it very clear that Felt is non-Rosharan AND sent him on the Lasting Integrity mission. And made sure to note that Felt was still in Shadesmar at the camp...
  18. Metal is just a key. Allomancy is inherent and genetic. We’ve seen Hoid use it.
  19. Felt is a spy for hire. I think he’s working with the GBs at present, but who knows.
  20. Nope! This person is from an area where blonde hair is fairly common. This person is quite brash. This person has been/is a king.
  21. No. We’ve seen them used on Roshar. Most powers aren’t limited. If you could get a Spren off Roshar you could use surges offworld. We’ve seen Breath used offworld too. This. And then they can cut off anyone who messes with Scadrial. Like we literally see the Scadrians doing in Sequel of the Dusk.
