  1. We’re on to a new character now... that one was Slowswift. 1: This person is from an area where blonde hair is fairly common. 2: This person is quite brash.
  2. Nope. This person is from an area where blonde hair is fairly common. This person is quite brash.
  3. Khriss does indicate she may know in SH, as that isn’t the reason she can’t take Kell with her. But that begs the question of why Kelsier hasn’t just asked her how to do it. I doubt she’d object to telling him; she seems to like sharing knowledge.
  4. Stares blankly. That was honestly a joke guess. I have no idea what’s going on today... This person is from an area where blonde hair is fairly common.
  5. I don’t know. Why isn’t Jasnah listed as Dalinar’s stepdaughter or Elhokar as his stepson? Or Gavinor as his (step)grandson? All of which the text makes pretty clear? Maybe the editors have a bias toward biological children/against adopted/step ones? Now, can we please drop this and get back to the game?
  6. The text in Secret History refers to Vin as Kelsier’s daughter, which is why I say she is. If the text only ever said she was ‘like’ his daughter then I wouldn’t write that. But the text actually calls her his daughter. This is NOT the same as Kell being Vin’s father, which is headcannon. Vin as Kelsier’s daughter has textual basis. And if Vin is Kelsier’s daughter - as the text says she is - then she is Marsh’s niece. This does not make Marsh her uncle (which would require Vin acknowledging Kelsier as her father in-text), which is why I didn’t say he was one. To use your example: if Kaladin was thinking that he wishes Syl was human so they could marry, it would be valid to say he has a crush on Syl. It would not be fair to say the reverse. Ergo, I can say Vin is Kelsier’s daughter as a hint, but not that Kelsier is her father. No to both. This character is known for their stories. This character has mentioned Spren... sometimes.
  7. I liked the Zombie one! 1: This character is known for their stories.
  8. Vin was more confused regarding their relationship since she was also crushing on him. Kelsier, naturally, never notices. But Vin does say that Kelsier was like a father to her. And as of Secret History Kelsier is straight up calling her his daughter, so that annotation is a bit outdated. A later one says Kelsier is dead and not coming back, so... This isn’t theory so much as a difference of opinion on what constitutes a parent-child relationship. You probably wouldn’t consider my aunt my aunt, for example. Older adoptees are less likely to acknowledge their adoptive parents as their parents for a variety of reasons. The parents, however, usually acknowledge the kids. Had I ended up with a third sister, I doubt she would have ever considered my mother ‘hers’ the same way she did her bio mom. (Who was a great person, btw. She had a psychotic break after her husband up and left.) But my mother would have considered her wholly her daughter. I know her actual adoptive mom does. And if certainly count her as a child of both her biological and adoptive moms. Back to the game: This character is known for their stories.
  9. “She embraced him, and he found himself weeping. The daughter he’d never had, the little child of the streets. Though she was still small, she’d outgrown him. And she loved him anyway. He held his daughter close against his own broken soul.” Kelsier calls her his daughter. Explicitly. And that’s enough for me. (Especially since many adoptions in my community are not legal ones since we try to avoid having kids enter the system.) This character is known for his stories.
  10. Kelsier, in case you didn’t see my edit.
  11. Since he decided Vin was. Note: my oldest niece is adopted and I very nearly had an adopted sister. One of my great-aunts is also adopted. I have... opinions on adopted children. Namely that they are the same as biological ones. As far as I’m concerned, Kelsier acknowledges Vin as his daughter and she recognizes him as the closest thing she has to a father. Kelsier straight up calls her his daughter. And that’s enough for me. @More Cynical Than Funny Winner goes next and that’s you! Kelsier
  12. Yes! The final clue was going to be: This character has the Cosmere’s most annoying baby brother.
  13. True. But this one was rather notable. I will specify that the character did not actually die at any point; he was simply presumed dead. He may have died after though, but not at the point where he was presumed dead. No Kelsier type situation here. @AonDii No, sorry. Stenimar actually died and came back.
  14. Nope! This character witnessed a murder. This character has a niece. This character was presumed dead.
  15. No to both. This character witnessed a murder. This character has a niece.
  16. .... Seriously?! And I thought that was a totally out there guess... This character witnessed a murder.
  17. Got it! I love how everyone immediately jumped on Worldhoppers! Your turn now
  18. Nope! That applies to you too @More Cynical Than Funny This character is involved in events on Roshar. This character is a spy. This character once sought out the Nightwatcher.
  19. Nope to all. This character is involved in events on Roshar. This character is a spy.
