  1. I guessed him at the beginning.
  2. Yes, you are. You’re confusing it with mine, which was Kelsier. This is a new one.
  3. The Kandra The Kandra (The Hermit) represent soul searching, inner guidance, being alone, and introspection when uptight. Reversed it can mean isolation, loneliness and withdrawal. Per Scadrian tradition, this Kandra is OreSeur. The Kandra stands silhouetted against a blue sky, but stands on ashen ground. The mists swirl about him. The blue sky represents success, while the ashen ground is a reminder of the World of Ash. In his right hand the Kandra holds Harmony’s symbol, representing wisdom. In his left hand the Kandra holds a staff, symbolizing power. The staff is bound with 16 metalminds below the hand and two above. The 16 represent the base metals and alloys. The two bands above the hand represent the original god metals. The bands are marked with feruchemical symbols, tying the Kandra back to his origins. As with the other original cards, I am guessing at the meanings I initially gave the symbology. In other news, the deck is almost done!
  4. Which is one of the reasons I think Kelsier told him. Considering what they were trying to do, he’d almost have to.
  5. This person sounds Veden, but I don’t think any of Shallan’s brothers have children. I’ll guess anyway: Helaran.
  6. The Last Emperor (The Sun) The Last Emperor pairs with The Ascendant Warrior to create Scadrial’s second unique trump pair. The two cards are sometimes referred to as the Stars and Sun or the Imperial Pair. The Last Emperor represents Positivity and Optimism. Indications are that his position on this card came as result of the Ascendant Warrior card. As The Ascendant Warrior represents the night, so too does the Last Emperor represent the day. The four Marewill flowers represent the four minor arcana suits.
  7. Could we have the last clue? Here’s the finished card! Thoughts?
  8. It’s fine! Now, what happened to my metallic gold marker... Here’s some cool oil paint: It’s made with crushed lapis lazuli for a brilliant indigo.
  9. No clue. I really don’t know my Rosharans well... Almost done!
  10. Sigzil? I’m pretty sure he’s been to Herdaz at least once...
  11. Sure. What do you think of the card? Also: Mare or Marsh for the higher ranked face card?
  12. Roion. Random picture insert: The Last Emperor, aka. The Sun. Once this is finished I’ll only have two cards to go! The Ascension (Judgement) and The Cosmere (The World). Then I’ll start on the suit of swords. Question: Suit face cards are as follows Mistborn (King), Noble (Queen), Steward (Knight), Skaa (Page/Jack). I am trying to decide if Marsh should be noble of Spears or if Mare should be. The other will appear on the Skaa card. (Kelsier is Mistborn of Spears and Dox is the Steward of Spears.)
  13. Well, you said it wasn’t Gavilar... I don’t know, Sadeas?
  14. That’s the reason I suggested Smallpox. If Scadrial is anything like our world -which it is, then that virus is very stable and has an easily accessible vaccine - just one that doesn’t exist on Roshar. There were exactly four variants over centuries of pandemics. There’s a reason Smallpox got eradicated so well once we figured out the vaccine. It no longer exists outside of laboratories for a reason. And they wouldn’t make it look intentional; they’d probably do a Demoux situation, except that this accident would be on purpose. But good luck proving that, especially if a non-Scadrian introduces it. And Scadrial can claim that they ran to help as soon as they learned that one of their dangerous viruses made it to a world with little to no viral infections. There are several other dangerous viruses that can be easily vaccinated or treated that don’t mutate much. Those would be fairly ‘safe’ to introduce. You’ll want to avoid cold-type viruses (corona viruses are among those), like the one Demoux introduced. Those mutate fairly quickly.
  15. I mean, they have a better motive for sending Shallan to Lasting Integrity.
  16. After two guesses is what I’ve been doing. Marsh.
  17. Which makes Kelsier absolutely terrifying...
  18. No, it’s his character bio in the game book. Game book is canon until Brandon/a book says otherwise, so it is canon. But that’s literally the only place it’s ever mentioned. Dalinar or Gavilar. Or Adolin or Renarin.
  19. It could be Wit. Another theory is that the GBs poached him after Wit essentially abandoned him. Either way, there’s probably another secret.
  20. Actually, Kell only gave the Southerners heat medallions. They figured out the rest on their own after he left.
  21. No. Eryn is from South Scadrial. The Western Dominance hasn’t existed since the Catacendre. Kiin. Or Eventeo.
  22. Wait. When did he return to the Western Dominance? Aside from when he was chasing Vin around Fadrex city?
