    I always thought that Allomantic Compunding was storing the effect of a metal in a metalmind, allowing you to tap and store Allomantic powers instead of burning metals.

    After checking the next day’s arena battles and putting down his name and powerset, Snare had sat down at the bar and mused, deep in thought. No one seemed to notice him, or, if they did, no one seemed to give him a second thought, which was why he was surprised when a loud voice suddenly interrupted him. "Excuse me." He turned, seeing a girl standing behind his chair. She was short, maybe ten or eleven years old, and had long black hair. She appeared to be wearing some kind of fancy dress, also black. She kept speaking "Are you Imperum, no wait, Impum? Hang on." She blurred to his eyes, and, an instant later, re-appeared. A child Epic. Intriguing. Were those speed powers or teleportation powers? She started jabbering about someone named Imperium and playing and the fact Snare didn’t have any shoes, ending with asking him if he liked to play. He took a deep breath. “If by play, you mean participate in these death battles that I’ve heard about, then yes. I’ve just signed up, against someone called Caltrop. I’m not Imperium, however. The name’s Snare. You are?”

    Yeah, I get that. Once you learning what he's actually able to do, the way he was defeated feels almost cheap, especially considering steel and zinc compounding.

    -Either Brandon knows which metal can make Hemalurgic spikes to steal writing speed, or he's the God Beyond. We're not sure -No. Hoid just cloned himself -I'm not sure, and the order hasn't been confirmed yet. But Elantris is first so far. -I sure hope so!

    This was happening to me on Safari on an iPad. The screen keeps flickering. Zooming in a little fixes it, but the picture is still spazzing in the corner.

    Quick Question: If I'm adopting an Epic that had a couple of posts in the Dalles (Chef), can I keep them there even though the Dalles is now closed to new Epics or should I move them?
