    Blah. My episode of waterworks yesterday seems to have triggered a head cold/allergy flare-up. I didn't sleep well last night because I kept having to blow my nose, and today I've been sneezing so hard it feels like my lungs are trying to escape through my nose and mouth. Also not fun is having to breathe through my mouth all day since my nose is clogged. I swear I've drunk like 2 gallons of water over the course of the day trying to relieve the parched feeling in my mouth.

Umm... I really like word games like Boggle, Bananagrams, and Scrabble. What is your favorite dessert?

    When you see photos of Brabant horses for the first time and go, WHOA. Ryshadium are real! Also: When you wish you could burn bendalloy to give yourself more time to finish all the ridiculous huge finals projects that are due this week.

    So my grandpa recently bought a discounted pair of cellos off the Internet even though he doesn't know how to play yet. (I don't either, for that matter.) I got to spend half an hour attempting to tune one with a pitch pipe. Not very easy when one of the pitches on the pitch pipe was about a half-step flat and the strings kept loosening after I tightened them, but I found it relaxing after the crazy hectic day I've had. (See my post in the Bad Day thread for the full rant.)

    I don't think it's actually used in food anywhere in the book canon... I think members of the DA just started offering cookies to new members as a joke. It's been going on at least as long as I've been on the Shard. (I joined in January 2016.)

    @Ookla the Pony UGH YES. I used to live in the end of a cul de sac, and visitors to our neighbors' houses would always park perpendicular to the curved curb so that the rears of their cars were blocking our driveway. Like seriously? Parallel parking in a cul de sac is the easiest parallel parking you will ever do, and you had to be a chull and roadblock us from getting in or out of our own house??

    @Ookla the Miraculous @Mestiv While we're on this admittedly rather weird topic... When I've tasted my blood, it has tasted kinda stale and metallic, a little reminiscent of the taste I get in my mouth when I wake up after having gone to sleep without brushing my teeth beforehand. Not very pleasant.

    I paid $20 (US dollars) for the Eye, plus $5 for shipping from China. Edit: Here is the listing on eBay.

    I ordered mine from eBay. Had to do a bit of digging before I found one that was as big as the Eye in the movie, but it was totally worth it.
