  1. LOVE. For the next task, you must descend into the chasms and face the fearsome chasmfiend. ...Later: How was the chasmfiend? Obelix: Very tasty.
  2. The house names are usually written with a glyphpair (two glyphs) but it's also possible to write each of them as just one glyph.
  3. Yeah, there's an error here. Where it currently says "Twelve days" on page 788, it's supposed to say "Eleven days." That should fix everything you say here, right? Page 871 is correct. Page 367 should be "faring." Thanks!
  4. I don't think there's a hotdog equivalent in Herdazian food, but I could be wrong.
  5. Isn't this what the Theoryland database is for? Who has editing access on that currently?
  6. The Lopen is correct whenever it is used. And Lopen is correct whenever that is used. "Weak as wet" is also correct. I need to look at the number of Shards thing further.
  7. Vamah, not Valam. Valam is Veden.
  8. Reya is somebody female and important.
  9. Kaladin has turned 20 but Renarin is still 19 (all in Roshar years).
  10. Could be an error. I'll look into it.
  11. Chasm life picture.
  12. The 7:46 thing is because of different time systems in use in different areas. The regrowth/Blade-severed arm thing has a specific reason for it.
  13. Yeah, the glyphs are all in Alethi rather than transliterated English. Including Freedom.
  14. Re: Urithiru's location, the book says "Judging from the sun height, the scholars placed them near the center of Roshar, somewhere in the mountains near Tu Bayla or maybe Emul." So TomR is looking in the same ballpark as the Alethi scholars. #2 is the only one he got dead wrong. I'm very impressed.
  15. Actually, the bridge 4 glyph does not say "bridge" in English. It uses the Alethi word. If you found "brj" in there, that's a coincidence.
  16. The zero-width spaces in the ebook are there just to make the paragraph reflow without the ebook reader adding hyphens. They and their placement don't have anything to do with the code.
  17. Compare it to the one here.
  18. Brandon is never asleep at 2 a.m. Anyway the Silence Divine may end up as a novella rather than a novel. Brandon has mentioned that before.
  19. Just in case there's any doubt: What's in the book is not an error.
  20. I looked into it and this is definitely an error due to something in the revision process. So I'll get it fixed at least in the ebook. Also I verified that weird Nook "oth-" bug on my iPad. That is super funky. I've asked Tor to submit their own bug report to Barnes & Noble, because there's no reason it should be doing that. By the way, here are the other errors I already know about. Nearly all of these have been fixed in the ebook already. Some of them were already fixed in the UK hardcover. 21. Shinovar does have mountains on the west too. But I don't know how much shelter they'll give.
  22. It's not that the glyphs use Thaylen graphemes. It's that they ultimately derive from the same source.
