  1. It's an issue of different map projections. On the main Roshar map, if it had lines, they would be quite curved especially near the bottom.
  2. Um...your numbers aren't in the right place. And yes, it matters.
  3. There is at least one major thing that no one has noticed.
  4. FMA: Brotherhood's ending was great.
  5. Last night we got to episode 10 of Sword Art Online. Now we've had a good run of not-depressing episodes. I quite liked what these few episodes led up to. We've also watched a few episodes of Steins;Gate and will be watching more, but so far it's just a good show, not spectacular. The voice acting in the dub is definitely very well done, with quite a good adaptation. Hunter X Hunter continues to be very strong. The beginning of the Chimera Ant arc was pretty bleak and depressing, but recent episodes have gotten out of that. Especially once Komugi showed up; the King was super boring before she came on the scene, and she saved that aspect of the plot. There were also some recent storytelling devices that have been very interesting; there were a couple of episodes where someone was there who was supposed to be dead and no one mentioned anything about it. Drove me nuts, but I figured it out before the explanation was revealed.
  6. You can bring other books. I'm from the Dayton area and I used to ride my bike or even my unicycle to Books & Co many a Saturday, at their old location down on Stroop by Far Hills. Now that was a great store. Not a big box. I still haven't been to their new location. They used to be an independent, but they were bought by Booksamillion maybe 15 years ago. They kept the name Books & Co because of their great reputation in the Dayton area.
  7. My parents and one of my sisters are going. They'll be right up in front.
  8. You can also call one of the tour stores he hasn't yet been to and ask them if they can ship you a personalized book.
  9. White Sand is still being sent out to people who ask for it.
  10. Gollancz has put out all of the books in two different sizes of paperbacks. The trade paperback (larger size) comes out first, and then mass market paperback (smaller size) comes out around a year later. Way of Kings had a single-volume trade paperback, and the mass market paperback was split into two books. The same thing is likely to happen with Words of Radiance, unless they split it into three books for the mass market paperback, which works better for the story.
  11. That line isn't changing, though I see how it can be a bit confusing.
  12. Khriss is in White Sand.
  13. Steelheart hit #1 too, but YA books have their own list. This was by no means a foregone conclusion, but the closest competitor ended up not being very close. It's a real testament to how much people have grown to love the Way of Kings over the past four years. You guys really wanted to read the sequel, and you told all your friends. And by the way it won't go on the Times website until...Saturday? Monday? next Friday? Their calendar is really screwy. It's the best seller list for March 23rd.
  14. I was referring to what Sabrina said.
  15. While the wedges are representations that have associations, they are not actually portraits.
  16. Nevertheless, zebobes came very very close to doing it anyway this morning. It was only a matter of time.
  17. Well, I'm happy that Darmad at least figured it out by using the key rather than only brute-forcing it.
  18. Yep, it needs to be four armies.
  19. You guys almost figured it out on the first day, because we made it too easy. Sigh.
  20. The spaces only exist in the old e-ink Kindle version, so the lines will break. The spaces aren't official.
  21. I'm sticking with fall 2016 until the first draft is finished and we set publication for a year later. If it ends up earlier in 2016, great. 2015 is impossible as far as I'm concerned.
  22. Hahaha, these are hilarious. Unfortunately, I know little of the plot of book 3 right now.
