Vedel has lost her keys, so if anyone finds them, she would like them back. Otherwise, she can´t get back into her apartment, which would be a shame.- 77 replies

Out of those availible, I’ll go with Taln and Ash. I am interested in the Heralds and their story. Szeth will be cool too. Otherwise, I am no big fan of Jasnah, Lift or Renarin, so I’ll see about those. Eshonai might be interesting.

@KalaDANG Here you go (credit to @Bortwho made it):

They do all kinds of stuff for Harmony, and probably learn lots of different skills for the sake of imitating human beings. I bet there is a Kandra barber somewhere. Edit: I came up with a name for him: HairStyyle, Barber of Death.

[OB] Do you think Jasnah likes Kaladin?
Toaster Retribution replied to The Night Watcher's topic in Stormlight Archive
I just don’t see why. I can get the Shallan x Kaladin, because they have had romantic interactions. But Jasnah and Kaladin are incredibly different people, with an age gap, and differing worldviews. Respect I can see, but I don’t see why there would be a romantic relationship. -
Huh. Apparently I’m creative. Thanks! Anyway, I read through it quickly, and I will agree with the above statements that the dialogue felt a little exposition-y. I think you might want to cut down the information you give a little. Hold back on some stuff until later. It became a tad too much, I felt. The two guests talked pretty long, and not much happened. So you might want to shorten that somewhat. Also, I think you might want to give names to the two guests. It sounds like they will be important, and it is easier to connect with them if we know their names. I really like the things this sets up though. It feels like it could be really epic, and the deal struck with the sandal was cool, and intriguing, as is the fact that Haman considers himself a god. I might have to read through parts of this again when I have more time (going to church in less than an hour). But good luck with it, and good work!

[OB] What's the matter in Herdaz?
Toaster Retribution replied to Lightspine's topic in Stormlight Archive
The general being a proto-Radiant is one idea (of course, most characters are at some point assumed to be proto-Radiants). Otherwise, Brandon might just be setting up the Herdazians for something. I doubt that culture will be insignificant during the story. -
@Nathrangking We should give it Allomantic steel too, so it can compound its speed.

...I guess you have a point there.

They have fur, not hair.

Which world would you rather be on?
Toaster Retribution replied to StanLemon's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Uhh... easy choice for me. Scadrial Era 2. Or possibly Ashyn. Because if you look at the rest: Scadrial Era 1: Be enslaved by a tyrant. Roshar: Live through neverending cataclysms, with really bad weather. Sel: Worrying about being ambushed by creepy dark magic monks with wierd bone structure. Nalthis: I’m (kinda) color blind. Taldain: A mysterious Shard with split personality disorder, in a desert with monsters... Braize: Home to an evil Shard and his evil minions. Famous for being a place of eternal torture. Threnody: Inhabited by ghosts who murder you if you happen to have a nosebleed. Scadrial 2 and Ashyn are not quite as bad. Ashyn would be an awesome view, even though it has the downside of being a burning wreck of a planet. Scadrial Era 2 is just generally pretty chill. -
I’m pretty sure Raoden can throw fireballs.

What intrigues me is that Nale might have been to the NW to get Nightblood.

I think Brandon has an idea of what he is doing. He knows what schedule he is on, and he knows how many books he has to get out. As said, AG and Alcatraz might not be huge problems, because of the other authors involved, who can help him deal with those. In addition, AG can technically be put on hold forever if he doesn’t have time for it. It hasn’t even started yet, so he won’t have any pressure to finish it.

There is an RPG part of this forum. I think people like @Archer might know more of this. I believe there is a Mistborn RPG game that you can buy as well. I’d recommend checking Brandons site for that. Hope you find something fun, and welcome to the Shard.
