  1. Welcome! I hope you enjoy Mistborn more as it goes along. Its a great story, and Kelsier is awesome. Also, watch out! The Cosmere subforum will spoil basically every Sanderson book, and the subforums for individual series contain spoilers for those series as well.
  2. Ah, I see now. Never knew that Hank was an official short-version of Harold, but sure.
  3. I remember the old Unmade-bonding-Bondsmith theories before OB. Those pretty much died after the Sibling reveal, but if Rlain is to be a Bondsmith (which I can get behind) him bonding an Unmade to do so would be pretty amazing. Also, welcome to the forums!
  4. I can see this. The timeline is not that big of a problem. The Aimians could for example have found the Dawnshards somewhere between today and Honors death. Or there is some other reason for why the Dawnshards can’t be used. They might be broken, for example. Honor only said that they couldn’t be used, he didn’t specify why.
  5. I liked it. I really enjoyed the performances and effects. I thought Beckett was a really great character as well. Qi’ra fell flat for me though, wanted to know more of her past.
  6. No one made Hank. Harold, on the other hand has been made by someone. But robardin, I feel like we could find a middle ground here. Lets give it a double name: Hank-Harold, shortened HH.
  7. Uh... waht? Is this an official summary? And if so, when did we learn this? Harold.
  8. WHAT? You need to go get a bunch of fish sticks and try them as quick as possible (or I will hunt you down and you will face retribution).
  9. They are part of Alcatraz? I sincerely love fish sticks, and fish sticks on pizza is something I seriously have made at home in real life, so that is pretty cool.
  10. Pretty much the only Brandon novels I haven´t read (along with Rithmatist).
  11. ...okay
  12. I have a question as well, which I have wondered about for a long time: what does Hoid think of Ruin and Preservation merging together.
  13. I really don´t see why Susebron would create Harold. He seems to be a peaceful guy, and if he won´t be a major character in the next book, I doubt he´ll show up just to make a super-powered weapon.
  14. Death is generally something that stops you from becoming a Radiant (proof: Elhokar). So yeah, I can see why he would be ruled ou :-).
  15. Huh. Well, I forgot that Hobber healed his legs. The two explanations I can come up with are either that Hobbers perception of himself changed, or that Renarin wasn´t good enough at healing at that time.
  16. Do you support fish sticks on pizza?
  17. This should be because Hobber sees himself as someone who can´t walk, and therefore, he can´t be healed from it. Healing matches the Spiritual self of a person, and your spiritual self is formed out of your perception of who you are.
  18. I´ll be contrary here: I think it is pretty overrated. Granted, I should probably reread it, but as it is, I think it´s good, but not amazing. I don´t love any of the characters, and the story didn´t do much for me. The magic was cool, and I liked the lore it gave us on Sel, but otherwise, I didn´t find it that great. I am happy a lot of other people like it so much, but I don´t understand the greatness, personally.
  19. There is incredibly many threads dedicated to discussing which characters will become Knights Radiant. I thought we could turn the tropes and make a thread dedicated to discussing who won´t bond a spren and become a Radiant. So, any ideas?
  20. The fact that these two are ending up being major topics in the same thread is kinda amusing.
  21. Firstly, I think everyone here agrees that oppression sucks. Secondly, I think most people here (if not all) agree that hatred is never a good thing. And thus, hatred should never be encouraged. If the oppressors hate the opressed, then the opression will obviously continue. And if the opressed hate the opressors, then the opressors will lack motivation to change their ways. Instead, they will be scared of the opressed, and keep on being prejudiced and racist against them. The point I am trying to make is that hate never does anybody any good, and if we want to make the world into a great place, everyone has to try and stop hating.
  22. Adolin would never turn against his family. They are the number one reason for him doing what he does. He always takes risks, and is always ready to give his life, for his family. The things that might have turned him, such as jealousy over not being a Radiant, doesn’t affect him at all. The only thing that could POSSIBLY take him to Odiums side would be the belief that it would, in the end, save his family. I don’t think it will happen though. Adolin trusts the other Kholins, and Odium would have a hard time tricking him.
  23. I don’t really agree with myself here though, because I prefer Kylo Ren :-)
  24. We know he doesn’t like Amaram (sob):
  25. @Prelude @Captains Domon Technically, Darth Vader should be the best Disney villain.
