  1. It came today, and I really like it. It didn’t show too much (one could argue that it showed too little) but what it did show looked promising. Carol Danvers seems like an interesting character, and Brie Larson looks like a great casting choice. I’m sad we got so little Ronan, and so little Jude Law, but we cant have everything I guess. And the one shot we got of Ronan looked pretty stormin epic. Also, Carol punched a granny on a train. What a hero she is.
  2. The problem is that Ishar, who seems to be the Stormlight version of Treebeard in that he is on his own side, because no one wants to be on his side, would have to be incredibly stupid if he tricks his right hand man into following Odium.
  3. Jackstom Harms Brightlord WistiowLin DavarGeneral KhalBrightness Teshav Jezrien, considering his current behavior. Who would be the most likely to use a toaster?
  4. But he could have sworn to the law of the land to begin with. He never said that he is switching to the new god, but to the old owners of Roshar, which are the Listeners, because of the law of the land. I like the Ishar idea, and there is stuff pointing to it, but I unless new Oaths simply replace old ones for Skybreakers, I really don’t see how he could side with both Ishar and the Voidbringers.
  5. The problem with the Ishar theory is that if he is following Ishar, then why go join the Voidbringers? Unless Ishar uses him as some sort of spy. Because from what we know of Ishar, he isn’t really the guy who would join Odium.
  6. What did Nale swear to follow as his 3d oath? It seems like it might have been the law of any random place he chooses to visit, but he also talks about the law of the land as his reason for joining the Voidbringers. So, what did Nale actually swear?
  7. @Edonidd I disagree with your notion that SA will end with most major characters still alive. Brandon has done happy endings before, and had quite a lot of main character deaths in those endings. I don’t think that Kaladin, Shallan and Dalinar will all die within the first five books (one of them might bite it around SA5, but not earlier) but a happy ending doesnt mean that they all live.
  8. Could Kaladins sergeant be a dragon? Tukks was hus name. I remember him being a wirldhopper suspect a while ago. Regarding Vessels, we know that there are human Vessels (I believe Rayse, Ati and Leras are all confirmed humans, but I might be wrong), we know at least one Sho Del Vessel, and so it would be wierd if there isn’t one dragon Vessel. Out of the current ones we know, I’d say Edgli and Bavadin are the most likely ones.
  9. I don’t think he is supposed to look that much older. Shards are like elves or TLR in that regard. They don’t look their age.
  10. I think Bavadin was theorized to be a dragon as well. Had to do with the fact that she seems to be able to appear as different persons and even genders, which could imply shapeshifting, something dragons are good at. For further reading on Vessels who might be hidden dragons, there is this thread, which featured some points in favor of Edgli as a dragon.
  11. The black sphere is Chuck Norris
  12. Mraize could actually be a possible candidate. I like it more the more I think of it. Felt is another guess, just because he is incredibly wierd. It would be neat if Thaidakar turned out to be a dragon as well.
  13. Anyone but me who wants Mark Hamill as Odium?
  14. This. Just because you have Plate, you don’t nevessarily have it on at all times. Especially if you are Nale, who wants to keep a pretty low profile. He hasn’t been in a fight either, except for against Lift, who isn’t that threatening, so I’d say that it makes complete sense that we haven’t seen it yet. Also, we know Nale joined his order. We saw the Blade. It would gain him nothing to lie to Szeth if how far he advanced. In fact, Nale does seem to be kinda humble, in his own wierd way. He openly speaks about being wrong and being mad, so it would be out of character for him to pretend that he reached to the final oath just to look cool in front of Szeth. If there is one thing you can trust Nale to do, it is to tell you the truth as he sees it.
  15. If one of them turns bad, its Shallan. She is the most fragile, the one with the most sketchy morals, and could possibly accept Odiums ”I take your pain” offer.
  16. I will be known as the grammar nazi of the Shard soon, but this might be the funniest sentence I’ve read in a while.
  17. It is election time in Sweden. We had the election yesterday, and everyone somehow managed to win and lose at the same time. There are two groups, one left and one right, and then a strong nationalist party as well. No one wants to cooperate with the nationalists, or really with eachother either. Forming a government out if this mess will be... well, a mess. Me and my brother had a discussion inspired by the election a couple of days ago, which somehow merged politics and entertainment. We wound up talking about wether the Death Star is owned by the state or by a corporate company (its owned by the state), and where the Cookiemonster stands politically (we think he is anti-immigration, probably because he wants the cookies for himself). Anyway, hopefully Sweden gets a government soon.
  18. @Thousandarms97 I mean, I eat food, but I’m not very interested in cooking. I am not really feeling like joining a fan club at the moment sadly. Maybe at a later date, but not now :-)
  19. Theory is that Ash will become a Dustbringer at some point. It is technically possible.
  20. I think Brandon is saving tye singing for Mistborn Era 5, which will be called Les Misterables.
