You almost faint at most of them? Sounds interesting. Do you know why that is?
-
I'm catholic and I usually help the priest during the mass as a server. One time during a big Easter mass I accidentally seated myself in the priests chair. The year after that I fainted in the middle of another easter mass, again up at the altar, for everyone to see. Easter masses are not really my thing, apparently.

Top 10 theories going into Oathbringer
Toaster Retribution replied to bdoble97's topic in Stormlight Archive
I love these two. Especially the Ghostbloods one. I think it would take the story to very interesting places (I also dont want Mraize to be all bad). -
I'm proud over the fact that I found a WoB that @Extesian had not heard of. When it comes to general relations between vessels, I'm guessing that they were on pretty good terms. We know that Tanavast and Cultivation were romantically involved, and it is a pretty good assumption that Aona and Skai, Ati and Leras and Rayse and Bavadin had some sort of relationship too. Also, as @Calderis pointed out, it is easier to hate when you used to care. I'm going to guess then that Hoid, Bavadin and Rayse were good friends once, but something (the Shattering?) placed Rayse and Bavadin on one side of a conflict and Hoid on the opposite, which is where the grudge comes from.

@The One Who Connects @Calderis Thanks guys. Is LoP sample chapters one of those things that you can get if you send a nice email? -

@The One Who Connects What are the shodel like? -
Some of the things discussed can probably be understood if you read the WoR interludes (the Taravangian and Lift ones in particular). Otheriwse, no, you are not dense. I feel pretty lost pretty often, and I just try to read the wiki and other peoples comments in order to understand the behind-the-scenes stuff I want to understand. That said, what we discuss here is often related to the stuff behind the scenes, and complex theories and questions surrounding the magic. These are things which Brandon himself says that you do not need to be interested or engaged in. He leaves hints and comments for those who are. But if you just want to read the books and discuss the story and characters in them, then that is great too, and there are discussions on those topics too. If you have specific questions regarding stuff you dont understand, you could check the wiki (there are spoilers there though) or you can post questions in the Cosmere Q&A. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here.

Top 10 theories going into Oathbringer

There is no guarantee that the church will accept Taln though. Dalinar, Elhokar and their ardents didn´t. I think it depends on how many of the leading ardents are allied with/belong to the Sons of Honor, alternatively how much they trust Amaram. Because as far as everyone knows, Taln could just be a random madman. -

No one has said A Song of Ice and Fire yet. GRRM is much more adult themed than Sanderson (graphic violence and sex) but the plot and characters are great (yes, I know that I probably dont need to explain it, but whatever). I'm currently reading Malice, the first in a series called The Faithful and the Fallen. Nothing new or spectacular, but pretty entertaining. -

I just like the mental image of a steelpush beaver flying around in Elendel. -
The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon

-What was Bavadins gender before he/she picked up Autonomy (I still feel that Bavadins gender is pretty vague). -If you spiked an animal (let´s say a beaver) in a way that gave it Allomantic powers, would the beaver then understand how to use its newfound powers? -Will we learn anything about currently unknown Shards in Stormlight? -Is Spook alive during Mistborn Era 2? -Would a shard be able to remove its investment from a planet in some way? -Was Rayse human before picking up Odium? -
We don´t know what Bavadin is. We cannot even be sure about her gender. Brandon once said that he was fond of her though. Wonder if that is because he knew how much confusion she would create?
-
This is true, and I´m mostly surprised by the fact that I didn´t know of this WoB until today. I wonder why they went from friends to enemies?
-
I was browsing around the Shard WoBs on Theoryland, and I found this: Anyone who has seen this before? I have not, and I was very surprised by this.
-
This basically answers a question I put up in the Mistborn section yesterday, so, thanks! But, at the same time, wouldn't Khriss know if Bavadin left Taldain and removed the perpendicularity? She seems to think that Bavadin is actively blocking it.
-
Can someone link?

Autonomy is a popular theory for the identity of Trell, and I really like it. There is just one thing: how could Autonomy go to Scadrial? She is invested in the Taldain system as far as I know. So she shouldnt really be able to go anywhere.

@Lord Maelstrom Ym is Irali. Otherwise I dont think we have seen too many of them. Axies was in one of the Irali cities (Kasitor) in his Interlude. I just reread it, here are some things about the Irali from that, if anyone is interested: -They are very particular about a lot of things, which included chastity laws. -They are not as prudish as the Vorin people. -The purer Irali blood you have, the more golden locks you have. -Axies tattoos are not "that noteworthy" in Kasitor. I take that to mean that tattoos are not uncommon in Kasitor. -Some of the people in Kasitor (Irali I assume) worship Cusicesh, so The One is not the only religion. The mad beggar Axies encounter also mentions the Northern God, but I dont know how credible he is. In addition to this, I checked on Coppermind, and their capital, Rall Ellorim is called the City of Shadows for some reason. Maybe someone intelligent can make something out of all this.

You sure about this. We dont really know exactly how Lift works. Isnt there a possibility for her to turn the Atium into Stormlight?

I agree, she is no Ghostblood. Instead, I guess she is one of the Sons of Honor. Either way, safe bet is that we will learn more about her. -
There aren't that many Scadrial skin color descriptions though (except for the Terris). The only one I can think of straight off is Demoux in WoK. And again, the official artwork portray the Scadrians as caucasian.

I actually raised the idea of hijacking a kandra in another thread months ago. One of the things people said then was that Harmony would have problems with it.- 44 replies

Crazy idea: what if it's Ash? That would be really cool. I also feel that I have to voice my support for Rysn the Amazing Greatshell Rider. She is awesome. But I dont think she will have the Interlude novella. She isnt important enough, not yet.
