We know that Ryshadium bond with spren which is the source of their unusal level of sapience but I don't think we have anything about them bonding with their riders...?

Random Stuff X: Something Weird
Oversleep replied to marsoupial's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
I can see again! I was at an oculist today (after almost four years - when i should visit every year or so...) and I had drops put into my eyes and my pupils got super large and I had trouble seeing clearly things that were less than a meter from me. Funny story: few years ago, after a visit I went to school and one of my teachers tried to ask me very carefully why are my pupils so large -
I meant that any wound healed with Stormlight/Feruchemical gold does not leave scars; later in my post I talk about healing old injuries and I do make distinction between them.

Is this breaking some rules or not (I haven't read them, truth be told)? Can you go all Ruin on such posts or not? -

Perfect State cover -
We have evidence of animal Lifeless though. On the other hand Awakened objects (as understood commonly) have to be organic or at least be amde from something organic in order to work (as Awakening stone and metal is only possible at Ninth Heightening.

Does that secret project have anything to do with SQL? -
But they don't have to be specifically about Windrunners; it could be a question like "could Kaladin phrase his Oaths in another way", it could be about non-specified Order and we just combined it with the fact that there would be another Windrunner swearing Oaths. It could have been misspelled by the person who asked. Et cetera, et cetera. That won't work if none of them mentioned keywords and just gave a simple answer with common words.
-
Um... I remember something. That we'll see another Windrunner swear Oaths in the Book 3. Fairly recently (or maybe I have seen it fairly recenlty as I have been digging through Brandon's reddit acount). I'm 100% sure it was on reddit, although I think that somebody asked a question and Brandon only confirmed so keyword searches will prove futile.

Cosmere healing does not leave scars - Feruchemical gold / Stormlight just heal the thing. Dalinar could have only inhaled Stormlight with his bond with Stormfather - so, the timetable is beginning of visions or perhaps later than that when he first had problems with the Thrill (as Radiants do not feel it). I'd be suspiscious of Shardplate; it does grant similar enhancements as holding Stormlight. Perhaps it also enhances healing capacity (not so drastic as truly holding Stormlight since Shardbearers do get wounded and there are no records of miraculous healing). Another theory (which I subscribe to) is that simply Dalinar did heal his injuries (as in - the old injuries) with Stormlight but the scars were not healed as they're part of his Cognitive self (see Kaladin's brands - he did heal the tatoo but not the scars).

From what I remember Sazed stated that - unlike Allomancers - he can't see in the dark (WoA, Conventicle of Seran). Anyway, human eye is physically uncapable of sensing more wavelengths (with some surgery you could see in ultraviolet though). Feruchemy can't work around that really.

I read a book with that premise in my childhood. An old book. Siblings were on vacation in some relative's house and they find a little creature that grants one wish a day which lasts only a day. Then they have many (mis)adventures.

Having a Bad Day?: Get 'yer Hugs here!!

A lot of my friends have siblings (one has about... five?) and from what I gather it's my case that is the exception, not the rule. Sigh. -

My sister never grasped the concept of asking people - she never understood how it works; for example, I remember a hellish fight/argument that break out because... Backstory: my sister had a book she had to return to library. Said library is in the city centre we both would pass when commuting to/from our universities. For her it would be deviating from her route for about 10 min walk. For me, 4 minutes. So she asked whether I'd be dropping by the library soon (since I do it sometimes and far more often than she does). I said I'm not. She tried to pressurize me into doing it anyway which made me more opposed to the idea. Emotional blackmail did not work either. She got angry at me and started screaming (mind you, she was asking me to do something for her). Fast forward 10 minutes and hell was all around, lava melting the furniture, volcanoes erupting and so on (a visual analogy of what was happening and what it felt like). That's the kind of person she is. Anyway, today she tried to make me torrent something for her. She said her computer is too crammed up (faulty argument in all kinds of possible ways). The thing is, I haven't secured any trustworthy torrent site, haven't checked what would be a good torrent program and I don't have an antivirus right now (I know, I know, I will look for one ASAP. It's been only three months without one). Anyway: I said no. Outcome: hell (no lava flowing this time, but extremely unpleasant anyway). -
Not really - tapping sense of balance would give you a much better ability to sense the balance, not the Allomantic pewter increased ability to balance. Important distinction. Anyway, there are a lot of senses, check the wiki.

Atium - Hemalurgy Lerasium - Allomancy By that logic, the universal metalmind would be harmonium.

Random Stuff X: Something Weird

No, my Talents are bumping into things and general clumsiness. Sometimes I go through the door and end up bumping into the wall... I drop things... We could sum it up as lack of coordination... Is that an offshoot of Dark Talent? On the other hand, I do keep fogetting things... -
More like 400 generations (having kids at 25 years old). Or even 500 (at 20). When the world ended, probably lifespan dropped pretty hard, so did the age of having kids. Now the question is, how many kids would people have? @Darkness Ascendant estimates 4; that's reasonable but I assume people would have at least three up to... I don't know. Seven? I have no idea.

That feeling when you realize you once again forgot to post Polish cover and that once again @Mestiv will steal all the upvotes... I'll be there when the Perfect State gets a cover and I won't forget to post it, you hear me?! *sudden moment of clairvoyance which shows me I will forget it anyway* -
Do you have a source that it does matter? I think @Yata wanted to say it's not a nice, clean amputation of soul like with Shardblade but more like ripping off like a koloss would do to a human.
