Please tell me I misunderstand and they're not tracking where (not which stores but physically where) you use your cards to pay.

There's a WoB about weaker Feruchemy that would probably resolve my problems with storing nicrosil: So storing nicrosil would not affect the amount they have but the amount that ends up in the metalmind. If you store half of your Iron Feruchemy, you can still make yourself float but only half of that weight would end up in ironmind. So if you store half of your Nicrosil Feruchemy in nicrosilmind 1 you can still try to store your nicrosil Feruchemy into nicrosilmind 2... but only half of it would end up in nicrosilmind 2. Elegant and simple. And works.

About troll-battling: @Delightfully Smoak when I first read your posts about it I wanted to advise to stop feeding the troll... but then you went super smooth with being left out of the conspiracy and the like. So, that was quality troll slaying, well done I've seen my share of troll battling (I used to observe the Flat Earth Society on FB, I follow a fanpage fighting antivacciners and the like) and that was done well.

Just finished first season of Samurai Jack. I'm looking forward to starting season 2 tomorrow. I like the art style, I like the minimalism (sometimes few minutes pass when nobody has spoken a word), I like the... style, I guess? With the comic-like splitting the screen? I like how it plays with the tropes and genres - lately there have been two travelers on narrow bridge who can't pass by each other turned buddy cop; mafia/gangsters thing; and the last episode is really meta with telling stories.

No, Hemalurgy is more of transplantation than gene splicing... kind of. It's like in the middle between transplantation and making chimeras from FMA. But not true gene splicing.

Is this confirmed (apart from AU essays stating that symbiotic spren bonds are common on Roshar)? I doubt it very much: Now I know we have clashed over this WoB in the past but I still stand by my interpretation - that a fully filled metalmind would only resist Shardblade a bit, not outright block it. And filling a metalmind to the hilt is not easy - you need to do a lot of storing. First time we have seen it in BoM and still we would need a much bigger metalmind than a bracer.

I've read a bit further and I also have to disagree on that: It's not resolved by Spiritweb. Actually the Spiritweb (and Cognitive aspect too) of the new parts would change in the Theseus Ship experiment to match the original ship. Here's the WoB:

You're confusing two separate terms. Unkeyed metalmind is one without Identity - it can be shared between Ferrings of that metal. The thing is, the medallions are something else, as they're nicrosilminds tappable by everyone, not only Soulbearers as would be the case with unkeyed nicrosilminds. That's what is called an '"unsealed metalmind" and it's a term Brandon gave us. If you address that issue later, I apologize as right now I don't have brainpower to go through all of your theory

Got sick... but the con was awesome The only thing I haven't managed to go to (the queue was too long and the room got full just few people before me :< ) was Worldbuilding so that's sad but it was pretty awesome all in all. Just finished packing for my first big con. It's quarter past 3 a.m. I'm not sure I have what I intended to take and I'm not sure what things I should take in the first place... *yawn* I spent like 30 minutes picking T-shirts I finally went with Ezio from Assassin's Creed, Aang & Korra from Avatar and Elrics from Fullmetal Alchemist. Shame I don't have my cosmere T-shirt anymore.

By the way, Leia is technically a Disney princess. Now that would be interesting since they would have a lot of firepower and Superman could be suspcetible to Force. ninja'd by the Captain up there...

@ErikModi the thing is I'm doing opposite of what you're describing. I'm trying to work out vampires because my approach is "that's where all that folklore and fantasy vampires come from" so I need to reverse-engineer fantasy, if you get what I'm saying. For example, Greek demigods would be actually ancient Soulsmiths etc.

If Identity is unaffected by Soulforgery... ... would storing aluminium make Essence Marks last longer?
