@ccstat, I noticed the anthology is available on kindle unlimited. I'm curious how it works for the authors when people read it through that instead of buying it. Does having KU end up hurting the authors I read on it?

I think Iyatil's job as babsk is mostly limited to off-world things. Mraize can make decisions by himself while on Roshar, but he listens to her while off-world. Seeing Kaladin use Stormlight and surges pushed the listeners into taking up stormform, so maybe that's the reasoning behind Nale's flawed logic. @Windrunner, you might have seen this since the episode was recorded, but Peter has said we are getting an entirely new artist for volume 3. Also, do you need a glass of water? All of the clues for the first one also applied to Marsh, and none of you guessed that.

They also had to abandon Urithiru just before this. It might not seem like much compared to the ravings of god and the destruction of a species, but 'We no longer have a home to return to' is a very powerful thought, especially if most Knights blamed themselves for the Sibling's retreat, as the gems seem to imply.

(I am well aware this is not true, and that Skyward is NOT Cosmere. I just thought it was amusing and decided to post it as a joke.) In the description of Skyward that Brandon has on his website, humanity is fighting a species of alien called the Krell in a brutal space war. A search of the Coppermind reveals that this is not the first time a species called the Krell has appeared in one of Brandon's works. They are also an animal that lives on First of the Sun. What else appears in the story Sixth of the Dusk? Spaceships! Coincidence? I think not. Clearly Skyward is Cosmere endgame, taking place after the novella Sixth of the Dusk, which we know is near the end of the Cosmere. At some point between these two stories, the Krell must have evolved from simple animals to creatures of human intelligence. They then stole some spaceships from the Ones Above and began to spread throughout the Cosmere, destroying humans as they went. How or why they are doing this is not yet known. Is it some plan by Autonomy to spread her influence? Is Odium finally succeeding in his desire to destroy humanity? Or was this truly Adonalsium's plan all along? I doubt Skyward will give the answers to any of these questions, as Brandon will wish to keep the mysteries of the Cosmere alive. But perhaps this knowledge will shed some light on where he plans to go.

Brandon goes through eight drafts. He probably wants a fighter pilot to beta read, which, I think, is the fifth draft.

We know Felt tried to go to the Nightwatcher. The question I have about him is did he go to Roshar intending to visit her or was it something he decided to try after he got there?

35. If an older mentor drags you out on a quest, demand that they tell you EVERYTHING. Ignore when they say not knowing is for your own good or they'll tell you more once you have more experience. Get answers about the prophecy/magical artifact/Chosen One right then, especially since they will die soon. Hopefully with the information you can avoid them manipulating you into fulfilling your destiny by committing a heroic sacrifice.

@Chaos, I was actually considering asking an extremely similar question at JordanCon about deadeyes in Shadesmar before gemstones were added to Shardblades, but i probably won't if you'll be asking that in May anyways. There are so many other questions I also want to ask.

May doesn't seem like a very Vorin name, especially for someone who is a high-ranking lighteyes. Was May Aladar's mother from a different country and if so, where?
