    The only magic systems we know less about than the Breath magic system are Hemalurgy (due to the complexity of the human body and its bind points) and AonDor, because Sanderson doesn't want to go through the work of making all the modifiers for Aons, including the ones that make the Aon work like programming (i.e. If someone steps here, activate Aon Tia and send them to the dungeon)

    I know, but he already conquered his fear of water. So he didn't Rend. That doesn't mean he doesn't have powers, though.

    Maybe he still has the power, but he refused to use them to try to conquer his fear. That is what caused him to not go all psycho-Epic.

    Can I amend this thread? I still think that Knighthawk is an Epic, and that the book contains a reverse gifter, but a recent realization made me think that maybe David is the reverse gifter.

    The theory of Hoid holding Adonalsium is one I have had floating around in my head for a while.

    I had an idea about that, even made a thread of it when I first got on the Shard. It was struck down rather fast. Also, Stormlight isn't Roshar's focus. It's Investiture. Gemstones are currently the most likely focus for Roshar, but I have other suspicions.

    Neither of the creators of Nightblood died, despite both being Returned. They simply used an insane number of Breaths. Hemalurgic decay is something that we have long known about. The Investiture may not return to the original Shard, but I don't know.

    I think he becomes a lighteyes when he holds his Blade because Shardbearers are lighteyes, but he doesn't really consider himself a Shardbearer. Like how Shallan and Szeth needed ten heartbeats to summon their Blades, but didn't really need to.

    He's still around as a Cognitive Shadow, it's not all that far fetched that he be in the books.
