    I've thought that Devotion and Dominion combined might make Leadership or some such.

    I think the name doesn't matter. People are taken by the Shaod if they are devoted to something, whether its farming, politics, sculpting, or anything else. The Shaod isn't picky. As for birthplace, I think that if a Arelish person was raised in MaiPong, they would, assuming they entered whatever they use to teach Forgers, be able to use Forgery.

    Well, if times got tough, Skybreakers could work as basically police officers, Windrunners could work as bodyguards, the Knights with Regrowth could work as healers or farmers, Lightweavers as sketch artists and undercover agents for the police... I don't know enough about other Orders to come up with anything.

    Basically, they fight until everyone involved runs out of supplies, then they somehow manage to talk it out, then go beat up Hoid.

    That is indeed worthy of a facepalm. I read AoL before TFE and such, and since Vin called what she did Luck, it took me a bit to realize she was not using chromium metalminds.

    I want to point out that you can burn atium, Ruin's Investiture, using Allomancy, Preservation's magic system.
