  1. Brandon's site would be a better source fyi.
  2. Oh it is an old term that just hasn't been used nearly enough recently.
  3. AMA stuff is now in the database.
  4. Technically there is a cosmere wikia, but it's so incomplete as to be mostly useless. Granted I may be biased (being an admin and all) but I do think that it would be better to just help out on the coppermind, especially with cosmere stuff.
  5. Yes that is Galladon's father's study, but there aren't any books on Fjorden geography in there (and not really anything on AonDor either if I remember correctly).
  6. So Crafty Games just mentioned on twitter that they are working on making a Mistborn board game. (Picture from the Gamerati Facebook page captioned "Mistborn Board Game Prototype Preview") So I know that Brandon mentioned a while back that Crafty also had the rights to make a board game, and I'm excited that it is actually happening. Does anyone have theories on what it will be like?
  7. Duralumin doesn't add any power to the burning, just compresses the effect of the remaining metal into a few moments.
  8. True, however Kalyna only asked Brandon about that in January of this year, the post you are quoting is from February 2014. At that point in time I was only going off the book itself.
  9. Are Jaddeth and Domi real? I'd say no, they're just cultural constructs. Inspired and influenced by the Shards of the world yes, but constructs nevertheless. Jaddeth, originally, was just a minor god that cared for the rocks under the earth (hence him always being described "below") before Shu-Dereth appropriated the figure for its own theology (thereby adding in all the Dominion-y stuff). Domi is just a name based off of Aon Omi, love, which fits Shu-Korath's whole Devotion-y bent. The library. I always got the impression that it wasn't a private collection, just a secret library for all Elantrians. And that in addition to the AonDor there was a lot of general knowledge stuff (when Raoden draws the Aon Ashe it burns most of the biology section and there's a lot of general history and literature, like Wyrn the King). There is no indication that Galladon knew of it, he only knew about his father's study.
  10. It is, sort of. Brandon's con exclusive for this year is a hardcover of this and Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell. After the con season is over it should be added to Brandon's online store.
  11. Okay double posting. Since I was unable to find the source I asked Peter about it on twitter. It is not cosmere.
  12. Eh I'd rather just wait to cite it until after it's inputted to the database, it's easier that way.
  13. Yeah, I just don't want you to have to duplicate work that has already been done. I think it would be better to spend that effort making sure we have one stellar wiki than to split it between two different ones.
  14. Hey there! The Coppermind actually does have a section for Rithmatist stuff. There's still a lot of work to be done though.
  15. I know it's been mentioned somewhere, but it was as an off-hand reference, not really sure where.
  16. Question of clarification, is this something you Know or just your interpretation of the audio. 'Cause I was planning on asking Peter to confirm the spelling (before I completely forget about it, thanks for reminding me!) but if you Know this then I don't have to bug him about it. But I do wonder what this "Catacendre" is. I'm disinclined to think that it is Sazed becoming Harmony, since that already has a name, i.e. the Final Ascension. When I was transcribing I was of the opinion it was an event that we have not seen yet (i.e. post-Alloy era) but I really don't know.
  17. So I just noticed that cover art has been posted on Amazon. It looks like Chris McGrath (who also does the Dresden and Mistborn covers) which is exciting, he's probably my favorite cover artist at this point.
  18. So we now have the release date and cover art for Brandon's newest novella, Pefect State (that "matrix but happier" story he read from during the Firefight tour). According to Amazon.com it will be released on March 31st!
  19. they aren't in 17s posts yet, just google docs.
  20. In the Wandersail chapter of WoK Syl leaves Kaladin before he meets Hoid, because she gets a bad feeling. Is this related to why Vin decided to not meet Hoid in HoA?
  21. Oh they are both things that I know exactly where they are, they just are not in an easily citable form (i.e. they are transcriptions in the process of being finalized). The cite notes are just there so I can remember where they are supposed to go. Edit: And the format is good enough to update the rest of the Heralds, right?
  22. Okay those two citations are added, as well as a {{cite}} note for the thing from the Chicago signing.
  23. Also here is a post from Ben on Reddit it about it (which is what I was actually thinking of): (source)
  24. It will that's the entire point, the resulting koloss would just be a post-Final Ascension koloss.
