DragonSight had entered the bar hours earlier. He had watched as nearly every seat in the establishment was being filled. People were slowly filing into the bar with weary and detached visages. They were all wary and nervous; they were ready to start killing their government. The bar keep had looked at him strangely when he had walked in. He had simply sit down without ordering drink. That was his way of operating, clean and completely capacitated. Drinking was one of the only things that he couldn't do. Anything else, killing, lying, stealing, betrayal, arson, treason, especially treason, he could and would do. But only if it suited him. There were traitors in the group gathering in front of him, he knew there were. He would find them eventually, but right now, he had bigger fish to fry. The man beside him regarded him with a jovial look. "Hey Nate, you wa-" At the mention of that name, DragonSight whipped around to glare at the offender. "Never Call me Nate again! Rykor died two years ago, you should know that Rylin. What do you want?" "Jeezes, nothing. Just trying to start a conversation." "By the dissonance of the music man, this business is too important for petty small talk about your boots!" The archaic curse was designed to confuse any who might out-maneuver him with their words, force them to slow down and think. It didn't happen with his second-in-command. "How did you know I was going to talk about my boots? "You just got them two days ago, what else are you going to talk about? Now go get yourself a drink or something." With that, he burned some of his earlier ingested steel and pushed the chair away from him. The feet of the chair had been coated in metal so that they could be organised more efficiently by the staff. Rylin got up off the chair and walked to the bar, grumbling to himself about sleep and booze. DragonSight pulled the chair back to the table with a quick tug of iron. He was an anomaly. He was able to burn steel and iron, but nothing else. Several doctors had checked for hemalurgic spikes inside and outside his body, but had always found none. On top of what he could do with allomancy, he could store his wakefulness in bronze. He wore a pseudo-armor of aluminum and bronze. All it was is just thin, fitted plates of aluminum covering his chest and coming over his arms and legs, leaving gaps at his joints. It had bands of Bronze in the torso. True he was a bit less maneuvrable than he was, but he could fit clothes over top of it, and he looked more burly and muscled than he actually was. Other than his abilities and odd choice of outfit, he was just an unremarkable guy taking part in a rebellion. I'l sign up as DragonSight please. He has a bit of a backstory, but you'll learn about it soon enough.

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Your first post of that cycle was you voting for Phatt and asking if any more notes had been given to him. Meanwhile, Ada, Kipper's only real competition in the evil game at that point, had been killed and proven to be good. Kipper was out in the open and you chose instead to focus on notes that could draw attention away from Kipper and onto someone else. Your next significant post that cycle came right after Lopen was turning the subject of notes back to Kipper. You then proceeded to argue that notes should not be revealed if they say that they are loyal. I can see many reasons why an eliminator would want that to happen. 1) Less information for the loyalists. 2) More infighting due to not knowing someone is loyal. 3) Most important to this argument, actively arguing against Lopen takes the focus off of Kipper and puts it on the snitch's and the notes. Later in an edit of that post, you wanted more activity, again seeming to attempt to divert the conversation. In the other edit of that post, you voted for me without giving any reason whatsoever, forcing me to ask you and dedicate an emtire conversation to that. Your next post, you gave me barely any information as to why you voted for me, drawing me further away from the conversation about Kipper. Note also that the reasons you gave also could have been applied to Kipper, who was in a much more suspicious situation than I was. Why didn't you vote for him? No other reason was given. Next point of interest. After a post asking about Kipper's side role, you posted after me responding to my inqueries about your motives. You had nothing for me to defend against, and yet you claim that I have done some of the most suspicious stuff in the game. I had already addressed your earlier reasons (which, by the way, you did not disclaim or disclaim in any way), and you didn't even reiterate your earlier points to say that they were still valid. Even now, you refuse to give solid reasons for voting for me. During the writing of all of this, I am getting more and more convinced that you are an eliminator. Give me tangible proof otherwise. I'd love to be wrong since you are obviously a skilled player (see false thaidakar reveal of MR10) and I really want you to be with us. You just haven't given me any reason to trust you so far.- 529 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You have an equally short explanation. I personally believe that anything you use against a person can be held against you. Easily misread, true, but still fairly apparent that it means that he is worried about being killed by the eliminators next due to him being a snitch. If you see something evil in there, I am not seeing it. There doesn't seem to be any hidden meaning or message. Even if there was, would you not want to expose it to the rest of the class? Even so, I think that Maill's methods last day cycle were the most suspicious to me. His attacks on me due to a few skeletal reasons with no backing were lacking visible substance. He did also try to steer the conversation away from one of the primary discussions, almost as if he was trying to save a team mate from being lynched.- 529 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
What kind of suspicious stuff? Like voting for a villager by accident? It happens. The only thing that we can do is vote for the people who we think have the most chance of being an eliminator. I thought that Ada was suspicious and I acted on that. It's what we have to do. It's not me trying to deflect suspicion, it's me defending myself against Maill's (and now yours and DC's) attacks. My vote on Maill was due mostly due to the way he went about accusing me. He gave one and a half sentences as to why he was voting for me. On top of that, his nonchalant attitude seemed to be bringing everyone away from the major conflict at hand. After he did, I found it very odd that Kipper, a nearly professed traitor, was basically saved because of attention span issues. Now in the interest of not only self-preservation, but also trying to re-focus the rest of us onto the central conflict of basically the last three cycles, Maill, Kipper.- 529 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Those are fairly odd reasons for you to vote for me. Kipper is on both of those lists, and his circumstances are much more suspicious than mine. I voted for Ada because I thought that there was a higher likelihood of him being a traitor due to his involvement in both Meta's lynch and trying to get kipper lynched. Meta has me on his potentially evil list because I was checking the situation on the thread after his alleged evil role claim and I didn't do anything about it. Well I didn't have the time. I was planning on giving my suspicions to you guys, but my parents decided I had to go out to dinner without them that night. I don't know why you are choosing to assault me instead of kipper, since he fits your reasons better, but it seems to me to be either flawed logic, or a flawed eliminator plan. It's almost like you are trying to draw attention off of Kipper by voting on me and Phatt. Phatt for even less reason than you have for me. I don't know what your game is, but I think that you are playing the villain. Maill- 529 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Alright, I guess I have to make a decision now. After looking over most of their posts, I think that you are both suspicious. Kipper, I feel as though you are one of the most suspicious players here. You made the initial announcement that Meta was an "evil" beggar, making it fairly likely that you were trying to get him mislynched. It would be very beneficial for the eliminators to kill an info role and a veteran player like Meta, making the incentive high. But I am not convinced that an eliminator would stick their head out like that (besides Ada in MR10). I don't want you to go unchecked, so I will be keeping my eye on you if I can, and you are most absolutely still suspicious. The thing is, I feel like Ada is a slight bit more suspicious. He has been attacking both of the alleged traitors, which I think is one of the best ways to get people mislynched. Make people suspicious of one of their own and they will most likely attack them. It would be great for the eliminators to kill one of us because they gave some false information. That would shift suspicion off of you fairly easily. Have a fall guy create the initial mislynch and then turn to kill him. There are a few ways that Kipper might have been misscanned, so I am less suspicious of Shallan than you, and that also means that it could be the exact same thing that happened as with Meta. At this point . . . I think that I have to say . . . Ada- 529 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The way that I see it, there are three different play styles in SE, newcomers, experts and fumblers/flailers. I can fit most people into one of these categories, myself being a fumbler. Meta was clearly a veteran and an expert. To the (limited) extent of my knowledge, an expert eliminator would not just give in to accusations without fighting with everything that they had in their arsenal. True, Meta did argue his innocence, but that resignation in the tone of his posts wasn't what I think is characteristic from a veteran eliminator. Even more so when he gave up and "admitted" to being an eliminator. Kipper right now, he is fighting. He wants to live almost too much. I don't think that I am going to vote for him in this post, since I want to analyze his posts more and I have to go and do stuff, but I probably will later unless I find something fishy about this.- 529 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
In response to Meta's last post, I didn't target him mostly because of his evil claim. He seemed way too good an SE player to just give up and admit he was evil. I had a little voice in the back of my head that was telling me that Meta was up to something. I didn't see why he would just give up without a fight if he was an eliminator, unless he had a plan to survive. I didn't know what that was, and I didn't have the time to voice my suspicions after he had claimed traitor (I was visiting family at that point) so I went searching, trying to be useful while Meats plan was carried out without me. I had no idea that he was good enough to be plotting for us even with impending death. That is impressive.- 529 replies

Kynedath replied to Citadel16's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
"Oh my friend, you are doing poorly not because of a lack of effort, nor even out of hospitality. You are doing poorly because of a lack of skill. That is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, it would be an atrocity not to show your inadequacies from time to time. Fear, not, I will also admit a lack in talent. But this game will not be decided by the amount of experience one has, but instead the aptitude to fail worst. The worst loser will claim the victory, so fear not, for you may still have a chance to win. Do not go gentle into that great night." After the lengthy monologue, Kynedath drains his vial of it's contents and shoots at a ball within sight. He misses the pocket only marginally this time, and he let out a grunt of approval.- 86 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
My defenses are non-committal because 1) I have mid-terms coming up in like three days and I need to study, 2) I am applying for a pilot's license scholarship and I need to study for that, 3) This is effectively my second game (I am not counting QF12 because I lasted one day and really did nothing of import) so I am still learning about different eliminator strategies and tactics and how to tell them apart, and 4) it seems to me that I do better during the later game, when I can focus on one or two people instead of having to figure in hundreds of different factors. All I really do early game is observe and when I need to, I flail around trying to figure out who to vote for. I promise to be doing more later on, but since nobody has died yet, I have an extremely large number of variables to consider coupled with limited information. Granted, this is from the one other game that I truly played, but it is still viable.- 529 replies

Alright, I do see what you mean, but looking over the last four, he was asking questions and participating. Although I guess that might be a way to lay low as an eliminator. STINK has contributed more than some of the other players, so why do you say he wasn't contributing? He has asked questions and clarified certain subjects even if he hasn't posted any of the possible scenarios that the others seem to be.- 529 replies

Long Game 16: The Empty Throne Part 2: The Catacombs
Kynedath replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I am honestly not completely sure what I think about his situation. There are a large number of roles and accusations and speculations going around and making things confusing. Nevertheless, from what I have seen of his gameplay, Meta seems to be lacking in a defense. I know that there isn't that much that he can say if he is innocent, but he still lacks that passion and aggression that he had when attacking Mark. That being said, I don't feel that there is enough evidence for me to vote for him. I will be thoroughly ecstatic if it turns out that he is an eliminator and we lynch him, but I'm not quite ready to believe that a snitch just wound up finding Meta guilty on night one. Kipper might be an eliminator trying to trick us, he could be an innocent who was the victim of a hidden side role, I don't know, but I do know that I want to watch him for a while.- 529 replies

the House of guilds (a Relaxing social RP)
Kynedath replied to Citadel16's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
"This is going to be easier than I thought." Kynedath mutters with a grin. Kynedath walks to the opposite side of the table where he then lines himself up for a shot at the 5 ball. After a few seconds of contemplation over how hard he should push the ball, he finally takes a fairly overpowered shot towards the corner pocket, missing and hitting the rim a good inch away from the pocket. Grumbling about a first time, Kynedath sighs and regains his composure. "Well this is a friendly game after all, so I might as well give you a chance at winning."- 86 replies
