Yes sorry I forgot to reply to that part. Provinces have not subdivisions

Well we don't know if the torture is physical or something like try to twisting their Command or Command word. The Lifeless are more sentient than the people think....maybe they are "hurt" when someone try to interact with then in a not proprer way. But in the end, it's possible I have wrong.
-
Yes exactly. Thank you for the answer about the politic part...it's almost like here (but we have a greater number of party...our politics is quite ridiculus). I actually can't understand how someone may prefer to don't vote instead vote an "useless candidate" but problably this has sense in the mind of who did. I see that almost 50% of the population didn't vote and to me this is always bad...but again it's something that happened also here

I had actually always though that "Elantrian build Seon with Devotion's Splinter" and using their AonDor to performe this feat they "forge" the Splinter as an Aon. But another possible explaination may be about "where the Splinter was extracted from the Cognitive", if we use as hypotesis that Seon/Skaze need a perpendicularity to change Realm, it possible that arise in the Elantris' pool forced/twisted them in the local form (or maybe the Splinters were already influenced by reside in the Arelon's cognitive and they simple spawn as Aon for this reason. Of course this hypotesis take a defined route. if this is true, the other perpendicularity have to be in Fjordel if the Skaze have a Fjoirdel symbol at their core.

I re-read the parts in Warbreaker and I had the impression that Breaking a lifeless is quite "try all the possible Command words until I hit the right one". In this context probably more Breath you have and more you may notice some sign from the Lifeless when you are near the right one (maybe just a feel) and when you reach the higher heighening you may actual feel the right command word intuitively (or with a couple of try)

Italy has 20 Regions (maybe you herd some of them as Toscana or Sardegna), 107 provinces (that has the name of the most relevant city inside of them) and in the end cities. But for some years here there is a willing to remove the province as territorial area. I have a question for the American Sharder, it is about politics: From days every TV program, post on internet and common chat is about your Presidential elections. And I hear tons of people hate Trump but also dislike H. Clinton....Now I am a bit confused, how the most unlikeble (from popolations) arrived to the finals ? There were not better candidates along the way ? I ask this from a foreing point of view, therefore I am quite sure to miss something.

This is what I manage to recover of the conference (thanks to my girlfriend who recorded this videos) I have to check if my Questions to Brandon are clear...but I think the sound is too disturbed to post it here. PS: @king of nowhere tell me if you see yourself in the video, I am a bit curious

yeah @Oversleep I understand what you want to say. But the fact that Breath improves owner's sight/hear to me it's more about a general improvement of the host than a intrinsecal attribute of Breath (like the improved health and the anti-aging). This is the reason I don't think Biochromatic Aura "improves" sound too...but of course it's just my idea of the topic
-
I think your idea is pretty plausible and indeed I have no counterproof (neither proof to be hones) but I want to point you with a couple of thought, the first is really canon, the second is a headcanon of mine: - I suppose you developed the idea of "Biocroma affects sound in the area" for the effect of one of the Heighning (I don't remember when you get the perfect pinch sorry) but if this is the case, I think it's not a real correlation...the Health improve through Breath but people inside a Biochromatic aura don't become more healty. Therefore there is no actual correlation between the Heighenings' effect and the Biochromatic Aura's effect....If i don't remember wrong it's stated that the benefit of Breath is to become more and more near to the "deity" (and I think to your own true Perfect Self in the Spiritual). Ok now my headcanon. - I think that "color" is the "essence/element" (to be honest I don't know actually how to call it, and neither Brandon...I asked it) of Nalthis (the same thing the "mist" are for Scadrial and probably "gemstone" are for Roshar). Some form the planet's investiture show itself (it's different from the Focus's concept). With this interpretation the Biochromatic's aura affect color because it's already an area of "super saturation" for his own nature.

He wrote some of the 80-87% part while we were in the same city...Am I crazy to be proud of it ?

I can't find the official ones (I asked also in another group and checked on Lucca's FB page and Youtube channel). I may only hope my girlfriend's record is good (I asked her to record for some WoBs)...but she didn't send me yet. We are both very busy at the moment. EDIT: The record didn't contain any WoB, because they were made privately in the signing line and we were too far away to hear/record anything (the record of my own questions is quite no-sense thanks to a new conference started in the near room)

Actually in all the books I had the idea that Allomantic Strenght in the context of Steel/Iron is a factor both about "how much kinetic energy is added between the allomancer and the anchor/target" and "find amount of metal to use the power"
-
I always though that the reason was in his mixed heritage...as far as we know the Sand Mastery's potential is somehow tied to genetics and the mixed pool of someone without not elegible for sand mastery (as far as we know no Darksiders may be a Sand Mastery...but it's not a confirmed fact)
-
Yes but you may for example: Push on the Ship while you pull on the earth below...in the end you may use the world as anchor. Of course the "ship" is really lighter than its size suggest and Wax may tap tons of weight to balance more the weight issue

Trell is Odium - The Sign of the "Red Eyes"
Yata replied to TheBlueShifting's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I am becoming always more pointed on the possibility that Trell is Autonomy, but He is already dead, Splintered and someone else is using his leftover power...- 70 replies

First time poster Theory: Dalinar the Bondsmith
Yata replied to Pyromie's topic in Stormlight Archive
Actually I find it quite unlikely. If a Bondsmith may overcome all the problem of reviving a Dead Spren. Stormfather would be more willing to bond if this mean resurrect hundreds of Spren. Also all the Spren of the old time (the one who didn't die at the Recreance) would know this Bondsmith's ability and try to recover their friends. The whole Oathbreaking would become a really little problem if a Bondsmith may simply fix it.- 8 replies

But your idea have some problems: First of all, in the Final Empire Era nobody knows of Chromiium and Nicrosil Second, if someone with the right knowledge (for hipotesis) and right power (you need a full Feruchemist or Hemalurgy...both magic little understood at that time) was willing to start up some "investiture market" for the Cosmere....What's the point in remain on Scadrial ? You may move the production quite everywhere in the Cosmere....the Chromium may be find in quite all the planets and "created" in some of them thanks to other magic systems (for example Soulcasting)

I want just to remember that to tap/store Connection you need a Duralluminmind and no "unknown metal" was found on his corpse....If they found a piece of Durallumin, Vin would have no need to made test with different metal to "discover" Durallumin. Actually Rashek in his long life may have become a good mentalist and as other pointed in the previous post, He may use Improved sense and improved Mind Speed to detect lies

At the moment I have no time to find you the references, but I remember that Brandon said, "that Sazed is doing something with his extra Ruin". About the crescent popolation, I don't think every new soul remove some power from Ruin and Preservation....They seem to made a one shot expenditure of Investiture to made the life on Scadrial and probably this invesiture is recicled from the creation of the planet without being add or removed at every time from the Shards.
-
@Axies actually the text seems to imply that wordhopper may quite easy stay in the Fots's Cognitive (on Sel you are in a real danger instead for the great amount of ravaging invesiture) and they are in trouble when they arrive in the Physical Realm because the area is (as seen in the book) a mortal trap to anyone who are not an extreme survivalist (to them are only a really dangerous place ) The Author says they may observe not directly the planet of the Drominad system without too much effort but they can't actually reach their physical counterpart (for first of the sun, it's too dangerous. For the other, they have no perpendicularities)

@Eki the topic is a bit tricky. We don't know if Endowment made the Human on Nalthis in the same way others shards did (so if the Nalthis Human are "special" from the start) We have a WoB of a kid born from a Scadrial guy and a Nalthian to have a bit of Preservation and a bit of Endowment (with unkown effect on the child, but this now is not relevant). This would happen whatever the child will born and may be a clue about the not-dependacy of Nalthis as birthplace in the Breath give-away. This seems to point more on a Connection-Spiritual Identity factor. The Child of People with the right sDNA (and therefore a Connection to Endowment) are blessed with a Breath. of course this is all a speculation of mine, but it will be a nice question to ask to Mister Sanderson.
-
Not really, It's not a simple matter of "have a Breath". Nalthisian born with a greater Soul than any other human but a relevant part of it is removible. their "unremovible soul" is less than a standard human's soul (is what they have when they become Drab) and may be comparable to a victim of Hemalurgy who survive this magic. Or Do you say that if a foreign child born on Nalthis it will born as a normal human (of his kind) but with a Free Breath ? (In this case I may imagine how Nalthis would be the favorite birthplace of many Wordhoppers' family )

Sorry yesterday I was just to put myself to sleep and I had not enough WillPower to search this wild WoB (it's not on theoryland last time I checked). Here

actually @PizzaTardis the "juice" for metal is the same for everyone...Stronger allomancer may simply burn metal to faster rate to get more "juice per second"
-
@1stBondsmith yes but from Shadesmar you may obtain (with enough time and will) almost all the Knowledge of all the planets with a Cognitive Reflection..:This meant you may use centuries of research and knowledge of 3-4 (I don't remember the number) of Planet for your own agenda....the work of a single Scholar on First of The Sun (that we call "Galilei of the dawn") , may give you almost the complete planetary chart of the Drominad System. Just think to what the mankind discovered about the Earth's Solar System.
