@BeskarKomrk nevermind it was a pleasure

I am not an huge fan of the possession's theory (I am more about the actual "fix of the physical string") but in the case, I suspect it's more likely there is some kind of "trasformation in the host".
-
Do You mean they possess a random body and then they "heals" it to turn it in their right look or that everytime they are different looking ?
-
The main issues with the idea is that Shahara had no more Breath and to fuel the Awekening she had to use also her divine Breath....She was in the ninthHeightening (to awaken Metal) at least with 20k of Breah...There is no way she would "expend all of them". And in the quite unlikely that this happened (with the exception of "all thousands of Breath kept her alive")...There is no risk of a widespread of Nightblood-like being, if you need a Divine Breath to each of them.
-
He can use Stormlight and in the next book probably Shallan would try make some experiments with him, She has a block with the Illumination surge and he may be the "standard" user of Illumination. Anyway I think that Glys's plan (if there is something like this) to fake Radiancy....it's quite a stupid plan, He can't actually performe the feat almost all associate with the KR, He would be discovered in a very little time.

You have right, but while he wrote Secret History, He notice that would be impossible to Hoid to be with the terrismen when they met Vin and reaches the Well before her (because the Well is the only active perpendicularity on Scadrial at that moment)...So he change the Hoid route, He knowed where the Well was, he took the Lerasium and THEN he went with the Terrismen. In the actual canon, when Vin met Hoid with the terrismen, He had already the Lerasium with himself

I read it differently, to be honest, but I can't actually say I have more clues than you. I think they are "repaired" every time when the Desolation is about to start. Their Strings to the physical realm restored and they can actually worldhop again on the physical realm...ready to fight in the Desolations, it's possible that the Heralds' resurrections are actually Odium's work, if for some reason the presence of the Heralds in the Cognitive prevent him from starting his Attack EDIT: New WoB about Roshar's languages Q: Since you mention languages on Roshar, are there any languages that are completely unrelated to any other on the planet? A: Our basic language families are: Vorin: Alethi, Veden, Herdazian, and more distantly Thaylen. Nathan is close to dead, but shares a root, and Karbranthian is basically a dialect. Other minor languages like Bav are in here. Makabaki: Azish is king here, and most the languages around split off this. There are around thirty of these. Dawnate: A varied language family with distant roots in the dawnchant. Shin, parshendi, Horneater. They share grammar, but they diverged long enough ago that the vocabulary is very different. Iri: Iriali, Reshi, Purelake dialects, Riran, and some surrounding languages. Aimian: These two are lumped together, but are very different. Probably what you were looking for. That isn't counting spren languages, of course. I might have missed something. Typing on my phone without my wiki handy. Personal note, the line: Puts together the Shin's culture with the oldest Roshar's Culture.....It may be a clue about Shinovar as "point zero for the human on Roshar"

Of course I asked this because I noticed here...that what I remeber as a confirm wasn't it. Not for disprove your idea -
I think that a god (probably odium) or some automatical method, simply re-forge their string to the physical everytime the Desolation is about to start PS: I added that wob and some other to

My previous question gave birth to a nice conversation about Cosmere's "Immortality": Q: So White Sand is earlier... damnation then how the heck old is Kriss then? Will we ever get an answer as to why every worldhopper is flipin immortal? A: There is some time-dialation going on. I'll explain it eventually; we're almost to the point where I can start talking about that. Suffice it to say that there's a mix of both actual slowing of the aging process and relative time going on, depending on the individual. Very few are actually immortal. Q: Implying that some are actually immortal? A: Depends on which definition of immortal you mean. Doesn't age, but can be killed by conventional means. (You've seen some of these in the cosmere, but I'll leave you to discuss who.) Heals from wounds, but still ages. (Knights Radiant with Stormlight are like this.) Reborn when killed. (The Heralds.) Doesn't age and can heal, but dependent upon magic to stay this way, and so have distinct weakness to be exploited. (The Lord Ruler, among others.) (this sentence is spoiler for who didn't read AU yet but can be easy skipped) Bits of sapient magic, eternal and endless, though the personality can be "destroyed" in specific ways. (Seons. Spren. Nightblood. Cognitive Shadows, like a certain character from Scadrial.) Shards (Really just a supercharged version of the previous category.) And then, of course, there's Hoid. I'm not going to say which category, if any, he's in. Some of these blend together--the Heralds, for example, are technically a variety of cognitive shadow. I'm not saying each of these categories above are distinct, intended to be the end-all definitions. They're off the cuff groupings I made to explain a point: immortality is a theme of the cosmere works--which, at their core, are experiments on what happens when men are given the power of deity. ---------------------------------------------------- Dragonsteel Q: is Dragonsteel still planned to be the bookends for the cosmere (2 eras)? thanks and have a great week! A: Yes, but not exactly how you think. It will make sense when I do it, but the final Mistborn series will be the actual end--Dragonsteel will link to it, though. A chat with Harmony Q: Something I've recently been wondering about is how responsive is Sazed to people in the Cognitive Realm flagging him down for a conversation. Let's say Khriss, during one of her trips between Scadrial and Silverlight just shouts "Yo Harmony, do you have time to chat?", how would he respond? A: RAFO on this one. Roshar exotic ecosystem and the strange name that people give to common things See also: Eastern Rosharans using the word "Wine" for a variety of types of alcohol, when only rare imports from Shinovar actually come from a grape, and naming animals things like "hound" when they only vaguely resemble a creature from Shinovar. (Or the term silk, which is harvested from plants that float in the ocean. Or using the word 'cremling' for any kind of small crustacean or insect, which is a linguistic expansion of the word over the centuries, when there used to be two distinct terms for them.) Vorin languages, in particular, lend themselves to this kind of simplification of terms. Now a little comment....The Heralds are technically a variety of cognitive shadow

I think a Kandra is too invested, but maybe it may work...

ok guys, I asked to Brandon and he said white sand is before than Elantris (here) -
As @Pagerunner said, I asked to Brandon about the timeline. Q: If I may ask another thing, did you decide what come earlier in the Cosmere's Timeline between Elantris and White Sand ? A: White Sand is earlier. I was pretty sure on this, but I wanted to be able to glance at the timeline and make sure I hadn't made any changes. (And I haven't.) It's pretty solidly locked into that place because of certain events around the cosmere, so you can assume it won't change. This is a great confirm

Don't think it wrong...Steel Feruchemy is really powerful, I just want to point on its limitations. the @Djarskublar 's wob is there:

@emailanimal the essay seems suggest that Autonomy NOW stop travel, but maybe/probably it wasn't in that way when Khriss leaved the planet. Another thing, I don't really know if a Shard may "move around" so freely among the Cosmere, if She is Invested in Taldain she is quite bind to Taldain...I may think she influence far away places but in indirect ways, not with her actually going there
-
Yes He may do it...it was confirmed. I avoid to say more but this happens directly in the books

Except the Stick, Bavadin tried but she/he/it can't be the Stick

Ishar is a traitor [AU Spoilers(Edgedancer)]
Yata replied to asterion137's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This would destroy my idea of Ishar as the fake-god in Axies's interlude. Anyway, we saw that the Heralds are something wrong...it's possible that Ishar's wrong made him change faction. Just we have to know if he is a traitor now or if he is a trailor already in the last Desolation...but to be honest I don't think he is a long term betrayal, He really believed that leave Taln as only prisoner would be a good thing. -
I think the second, or soon or later someone would already discovered it and the overpower of the Shardblade will be (almost) no more.

Yata replied to skaa's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
And if the essay was written before the fall of Elantris ? Elantris was a powerful country, at that time Fjordel wasn't very relevant to them, and before the last years...Fjordel itself wasn't interested in Elantris (I talk before the religious change of the empire) -
Yes, her anatomy or for others gold feruchemy to repair the damage you will suffer (or also heat feruchemy)...Also every impact would probably destroy your bones.

I want just to make you notice that we have almost always saw being who used Speed-Compound with another features who allow them to go beyond the speed you may usually manage without hurt or kill yourself (F-Steel protect you only from the g-force, you may burn alive or other issues when you start to go too far)....It's indeed a powerful combo, but probably as a twinborn you can't push it too far
