I never edited a Wiki...therefore I was worried to create a mess or broke some rule. Thanks for the information

It's sad to see that those books are no more Spoiler (soo months are passed) and here in my country we don't have yet the local traslation of none of this Anyway as said in the previous post....It would be better to wait before remove Secret History, many people waited the printed version to read it (maybe because they don't have a right device for the eBook)

The problem here is: Is "be Connected enough" a requirement to pick up a Shard or to use a Shard.? Because it's possible that I may pick Dominion (the knowed Shard with less compatibility with me) without trouble, but then be uncapable to performe anything with this power. Damned to release the Shard or slowly be twisted by its power until I am Connected enough to began to use it. We know to little to speculate a real model for the Ascension. The only Ascensions we saw were with a perfect Vessel, or with an anomaly as Vessel.

Yeah. I am having problem to find any kind of way to arrive there without invest a lot of money in this little journey -.-

Theory: Ati Created Scadrial to Purposefully Bind His Power
Yata replied to Subvisual Haze's topic in Mistborn
I actually think that Leras created Scadrial to fit his Masterplan (with a Physical Focus who may be removed from Ati's power an hardly recovered)....Ati-Ruin seems to see what happened to himself as a Preservation's betrayal. -
Indeed it's possible, there are much mistery in their religion and how the Stone Shamans fit in Roshar's events. You have also to remember that on Roshar the world Spren has a wide uses than the ones we give to it. It's possible that He talk about some "beings" not strictly Spren. (There is a WoB as Shard or Adonalsium that would be called "Spren" by Roshar's popolation)

I checked some months ago, it is impossible to divide the Surges in 5 Honor's Surges and 5 Cultivation's Surges with the Surgebinders' pair Anyway I don't think the perks's origin come to be to a mix of source of power (but again we have a too little cases to find a real pattern). For hypotesis a Double Misting (like Spool in HoA) would soon or later develop a perk. In the end I think Brandon may exploit this perk to accomodate most Investiture's Combination to made what the story needs...They are a powerful tools for him in the Cosmere's novels

I don't remember the source, but somewhere Brandon described Khriss's role as Brooker of Informations for many goups. If the 17th Shard needs Knowledge she is among their resources, if Hoid needs Knowledge She is among his resources. (probably the wording isn't precise, but the content is quite right)
-
In this Coppermind's page http://coppermind.net/wiki/Mistborn_(series) there is a list of the Mistborn's books but the Final Empire are putted twice instead of Hero of Ages.
-
Khriss is much younger and to be honest we never see her on Roshar in SA. Hoid is quite 10000 years old in SA(he was alive in the Shattering). Khriss is an average human of a Major Shardworld born after that a Shard invested in her world...I think He see all the post-Shattering people as young. Much more, as far as we know...Hoid and Khriss get along quite well. EDIT: I check a bit the timeline for better dates. Khriss is probably 1000 or less years old
-
@Darkness there is an Hoid's quote about "there is just an woman of my age here, and she hates me". That point to the original Yolish Cultivation's Vessel

Actually the "anyone" is a bit tricky. As pointed in-world fact, there are factors who allow you to pick up a Shard. But are nothing too extraordinary. A person need to be Connected enough (to be honest I don't know how much it is this "enough") to a Shard's mandate to pick up the Shard....or maybe to use the Shard once picked up (this is a bit unclear). I think the WoB wanted to say that you don't need to be a Chosen One, a Magic Powerhouse or something beyond the Humanity to be able to Ascend with a Shard. Anyone with the right attitude my become a God

To be honest I considerate this option. But I feel unlikely when He is in another PoV. For example, when He discovers that Kal is a Surgebinder. Szeth is really afraid but no Painspren is mentioned from Kal's PoV
-
Well He carried an Honorblade and this may be (or not) a factor in spren absence

We know that chart was made by phylosophers who tried to put together Cosmere's knowledge but they misunderstood some point. Other pointed (thanks to Ym's Interlude) that every line of the table is associated also to a Shardworld. Ym said "this is the fourth land" and as you can see the fourth line is "lucentia" (Stormlight) and "eyes" (many magical phenomes on Roshar influence Eyes' color. There are a topic somewhere with people who try to find a correlation Shardworld-->Line to all the chart (Sadly with limited result)

You see ? I know there is something I missed....and do you remember some reference to Simple Spren with them ?
-
I think it's impossible (I think we have a WoB but really it's not needed). Vin snapped at birth because her mother made a real troublesome childbirth....It's not hard to imagine that also Vin's sister snapped there. Much more Ruin can't know what your power is...until you use it. It's the reason He can't find Durallumin Misting to use as source of Spike for his Inquisitors. This mean that probably Vin& Sister born and then one of them (or both) burned some trace of metal, at this point Ruin put together is plan.

She is more near to the Cognitive than other Human being (more than a Listener probably), but She isn't in the Cognitive. It's the reason I said " It's possible that Wyndle doesn't really look in that way on the Physical". Simply we don't know. I don't know. But if Ym was an Edgedancer (and he had no weird thing happened to him) is Spren was a "standard looking Edgedancer spren". About the Last Question, I don't really understand what you wanted to ask: We saw many Cryptics from the Cognitive Side and Patter both in the Cognitive and Physical Side. I may say that probably the Cryptics are the Spren we know more for the their appearance among the Realms
-
I hope this isn't some already pointed. But as far as I remember Szeth didn't never attract a Spren (regular Spren like angerspren, painspren,ecc...). I know that Shinovar is a place without Spren (indeed is hard to understand if there are no spren or simply the spren are invisible there) but is it possible that its popolation is also uncapable of attracting Spren (as Connection to her homeland) ? The problem here is the only Shin out of his country (as far as I remember) is Szeth and he has some oddity with him....Therefore is not really "standard Shin". If this is true, it's possible that many Shin choose to not leave Shinovar as defence aganist expose this strange features of their people. PS: As side, enigma....Do WorldHoppers on Roshar, attract Spren ?
-
Remember that we see Wyndle only from Lift's eye and she is really close to the Cognitive Realm. It's possible that Wyndle doesn't really look in that way on the Physical (just think the difference between Pattern in the Physical and Cognitive). Some speculate that Ym was an Edgedancer (for some reasons not relevant here) and indeed his spren is the standard looking Edgedancer's spren

As usual when the interesting discussions start...I'm sleeping (thank you Time Zone ). Anyway I don't think there is real a correlation between the "cracks" and "perks". After all, one of the two only cases known (surgebinding and Twinborns) of "perks" come from a Magic System who don't cause Crack and don't need a Snapping (Feruchemy). Maybe the interference problem is more in the fact that more "influences" (powers) you have, less your perk have a chance to be well defined.

Ok, I am an idiot

Maybe I was misunderstood. I don't think a Listener may turn in a Chasmfield-like being. I want just to say that probably the word "Voidbringer" is a generic term (at least for the not well informed) for the members of Odium's force (as to say "enemy") were they listener or not

Minor Shardworld have usually too little Investiture to allow the birth of true Magic System....Usually there is more "interact with magic" than "become a magician". I ask if a Shardworld with a lot of Investiture of Adonalsium (an amount comparable to a Shard's investiment in a Shardworld) would result in a Magic System like we usually see in Major Shardworld
