  1. Yes there are bit of free investiture in many place in the Cosmere. Simply they are usually meaningless if compared to the Investiture who cycle in a Shardworld thanks to a Shard. In the minor Shardworld you may have some magical effect but you will not find a Magic User...There is more "interact with Magic than use magic"
  2. Resurrect a deadman is something beyond even the Gods...I will be really surprised if the Nightwatcher may do something like that. And much more all the weird effect of the Old Magic seems to be Neurological-Cognitive in their nature
  3. The Aimians like the Listeners and Dragons (I don't know if there are other Sapient Species in the Cosmere) are species completely separated by the Humans. Probably they are made directly by Adonalsium-Sama in his old good time as He did the mankind
  4. Little OT, thanks @Argent for the Reddit's link...I completelly missed it. There are interesting informations there @Spoolofwhool If I don't remember wrong at every Well's cycle an hero have to going there to use the Power and avoid Ruin's freedom...The Hero of Ages is just the final one of a long series of Terris' Heroes
  5. Some of them are actually different. For example Scadrial people were alterated to allow them to not suffocate in an Ash world. Roshar's one has probably weaker bone and muscole for their low gravity and Taldain's one have to be capable of sustain UV radiation better than other Humans. But I don't think there are actually macroscopic anatomic differences
  6. We know that the greatest Awakenening Genius ever alive, didn't figure yet how to Awakening using Stormlight. This may mean it's impossible, or there are some technical problems. (For example I think you may Awaken as usual with Stormlight, but the Light isn't sticky as Breath and leak away from the object in moments)
  7. I will soon reach you and then I will stop to produce good post to remain a Full Feruchemist XD
  8. @marianmi but it's quite explicit her "level down". In the books she spokes 3 truths (I am scary, I killed dad and I killed mom) as Pattern said She needed to use her powers, if She wasn't "level down" this would take her to somethin like 6/5 Oaths Every Shallan's usage of KR's Abilities come when she already spoke a rightful amount of Truth also her Shardblade-summon is never showed before she spoke again the Second Truth (3rd Oath to compare with other Order). As added note: Pattern said she was a more Skilled Lightweaver as a Child...This isn't something a proto-surgebinder or a L1 Surgebinder may achieve...Create complex illusions Without the fact that Kal actually have to re-swear his previous Oaths, probably Syl was already resurrected before the Third Oath...But the Stormfather stopped her to return
  9. Rashek didn't create the Lerasium, He have to search it and find it in his Conquest. Probably the Lerasium's beads were made and left by Preservation to his long term plan. About the Feruchemy's Origin, I think Preservation manipulated the Terrismen with the Terris Prophecies into gain the Feruchemy. This may be done with the Lerasium's overwriting Spiritweb, maybe using with an alloy of Atium. Something about re-craft the Soul to be without the Preservation surplus. The Terris's immunity to Mistsickness is a clue about this...but in the end is just a theory (I have really to update my Theory's thread)
  10. YOU cuts Shardblade
  11. Well Endowment have to put the things in motion, and ask to Lightsong if He want to Return to change what He said. This is sure. Maybe She wasn't simply without a specific form (like sometime Preservation or Ruin did in Secret History) or simply Lightsong didn't remember her look. This is true whatever the Returning happens...just we saw (a bit) of Spiritual Realm and the description didn't fit. The Spiritual Realm is a place of pure Connections between Entities....and Lightsond didn't describe nothing like that.
  12. actually @harambe I was simply spreading the WoB. I have no precise idea about who to take his question. I am waiting for an year to see how the Nightblood's leak would be when It feeds of other kind of Investiture (for example Stormlight). But I never considerate how the Investiture's Mandate would influence our favorite EvilDestroyer. Until now I was just about the uncapacity of Nightblood to use its Mind and Power at the same time...But maybe we see it influenced by the consumed Investiture. I don't know if it is a probably option, but it is indeed an option to considerate.
  13. Gemstones Invest The HighStorm
  14. I was checking on Reddit when I found a WoB of a real Interesting question, the answer was a RAFO but it may be useful to avoid the same question in the future: https://www.reddit.com/r/Stormlight_Archive/comments/51u8qu/oathbringer_spoilers_stormlight_three_update_4/d8u49pu?context=3
  15. First of all I like your idea, or at least the possibility it offers (take an upvote). But in the end even if possible, I don't think it's a concrete possibility for a couple of reason (to be honest it is just a reason, the other is just "something that to me you put it wrong"). Be uncapable of Emphaty doesn't turn someone into an Evil man/woman. It's just cold and "immune to the feeling" but in the end He would be choose to use them (the other's ones) for his agenda. In the Diagram there are surelly plans who exploit other's emotivity and would be impossible to predict something for years without the "emotion factor", the others have feel. But much more, The Nightwatcher have to be a perfect Future Sight to choose to give him a "perfect empathy" to use it as a tool. In the end it would need an already perfect plan made by the Nightwatcher to made your theory works
  16. A simply public Feruchemist would mined Rashek's myth....A single Twinborn would destroy it (also if He wan't a Compounder) because this would explicit states "ei Guys, Feruchemy and Allomancy may be hosted by the same guy".
  17. You quoted some scenes of Secret History therefore I imagine I can use that book to expose a (probably) answer. Endowment may do the same thing you quoted with Preservation-Kelsier. Arrive to "welcome" the new deadman in the Cognitive, show him/her a glimpse of the Future with a fast trip into the Spiritual and ask him "do you want Return to change it ?". About the timing I have two possible explainations: 1) Endowment once there give to the guy more time to remain in the Cognitive until the circumstances are right for resurrect him. 2) Nalthisian are more Invested than other human being (we see just the Scadrial one and they are more Invested than an average Human Being) this mean that they have more time in the Cognitive Realm before going in to the Beyond. EDIT: Reading again your question, I have a doubt: Once the "time in the Cognitive" ends the guy don't go in the Spiritual Realm, instead He is pulled in the Beyond...a "Place" outside the Three Realms where not even the Shards (from a direct quote of one of them, but maybe other may do it) can reach or know
  18. Probably the Problem is semanthic what Brandon calls "Innate Investiture" may mean something different to him than what We think. Maybe to him Innate Investiture means just "a surplus of Investiture". Anyway a Drab is not very different by someone who was victim of Hemalurgy and survived (unlikely but possible). Both of them remain sapient and both of them have yet a decent amount of Soul. Ths Soul is made by Investiture and the Investiture interferences with Investiture. This mean in a scale of "passive Shield" Drab<Standard Human<Scadrial<Regular Nalthian<Standard Returned<Susebron....Probably Rashek would be unable to affect something inside Susebron. Notice that Vin isn't really surprised when she hide Metal in a Kandra and the metal isn't spottable with Steelsight or is never stated that an Allomancer see the metal inside an animal (for example the "wolf" Vin buy and kill)
  19. And you have right...this isn't really a good day to me. This means that 12,8% of them were Statistically allomancers but to be honest I think is less than this theoryc number, many of them were used to fight and died (almost all the seers for example)
  20. @Savanorn as @Eki said I extrated the 7% from 1/16....But indeed I was wrong, fraction is 16% (1% for every Metal the Mist chose to snap). I am sorry for the confusion This take the "Allomancer popolation" among the Originators to quite 10% (1/3 of the Originators was Terrismen) EDIT: as Savanorn reported later, the Terrismen was 1/5 of the Originators not 1/3
  21. I will have to find the right WoB but I am sure we have one of them about "Odium can't do whatever he want, He have a powerful and fully lived shard to oppose him"
  22. Like @Dankness Ascendant said (sorry dude but until now I always read your name as "darkness"). Probably Ranette's bullets exploit an Allomancer's Istinct (at least for the Coinshoot or Lurcher). They live their all live knowing they have nothing to worry from bullet/object they can spot with Steelsight while they have to worry if they can't sense a throwing object. They sense the bullet arrives and for their own training know how to react to a not alluminium metal bullet....And they fall in the trap. Of course also the "cheap" factor is probably a good factor to this choice but Ranette's Bullets to me are a good trick to hit target with an high mobility (coinshoot, lurcher) because they will feel not the great need to dodge that bullet
  23. But actually its merging was after the Recreance and therefore Stormfather survived the Recreance from its own
  24. Yes Awakening a Shardblade will have no sense to Vasher. If the "base" needs to be a Shardblade....where is the risk in Vasher's wife will to spread the "Living Steel"'s knowledge.?
  25. Pattern said in WoR that The Stormfather was one of the few Spren who survived the Recreance, this actually point as "He suffered the Oathbreak but he remained Alive"
