  1. I see this explaination ad deeply faulty. First of all, this "try" didn't work as at least some Listeners were leaved untouched. Much more if the Radiants planned this...they Will Simply release their Bond rather than killing thousands of Spren with the Oathbreaking
  2. Hemalurgy doesn't work in that way. You could of course Spike yourself with an Iron Spike...both for stealing from your soul (stupid idea by the way) or to gift yourself extra Strenght (not a great idea too). But you will not gain some "new Power"
  3. Possible indeed. All the magic in the Cosmere requires an Intent...maybe you could provide that Intent if your apathy becomes too great
  4. Yes. Kalak's prologue and Taln's words and thoughts are quite explicit in this. Yes they remained in Roshar in the last 4500 years. They are Immortal as they are not Humans but quite ghosts (technically speaking they are Cognitive Shadows) First of all you have to know that all' the Heralds are insane now (we don't know if there is a magical reason or a mundane One) and the One who refer to has in his own mind a good reason to kill. You saw other Heralds performe weird things.
  5. Radiant Spren require a bond ti keep thier sapience in the physical. This is the reason for the Syl (or Pattern) Initial dumbness. They crossed the Realm and this mess hardly with their Mind. A bond allows them to recover themself....in the same way if the Bond deteriorates (like we saw directly with Syl and indirectly with Pattern) he Spren starts to lose his sapience. Much more if a Radiants broke his Oaths the Spren could "die". This probably happen because the Spren become part of the Radiants's soul and the Oathbreak is something like rip a part of the Spren...trapped into Radiant's soul. The Dead Spren is Indeed not really dead (for our Biological standard) but Simply mainly mindbroken. Struck in a cycle of endless pain. Syl "dies" because Kaladin's actions deeply deteriorate the Bond and in an extreme weak state. She probably manage to allow Kal to use his Powers to survive the fall in the chasm....probably It was too much. Regard the Blade's Scream. A Radiant heards the Blade's scream touching a Deadblade. He could touch another Radiants's Blade (or an Honorblade) without problems.
  6. A Lerasium-Atium Alloy would simply turn you into a Seer.
  7. Well a Blade is pushable under Crazy cirtumstances....a normal Mistborn or also a Lerasium One will not be able to spot a Blade with his steel/iron. We know this quote for sure as an object less Invested than a Blade is invisibile to steelsight. PS: you need a Mistborn powered by the Well or a TLR's durallumin push to influence a Blade (by WoB)
  8. It's not really relevant but I think a Mistborn would spot an invisibile Lightweaver with his steelsight (assuming the Radiant has some metal on himself) or tin (with the improved senses) or bronze (as he will detect Stormlight's usage)
  9. Also a chair in the Cosmere has a Soul, but I don't think you could say that a chair could think (and the ability to think It's more related to the Mind rather than Soul). About a Planet to become a Vessel. I find It unlikely, a Shard want a complete mind to direct Its Power....without weird cases, every Human being would be a Better Vessel than a Planet.
  10. Well a Radiant could heal unless you manage to crush his head. Honestly I think the Mistborn VS Radiant is better played with a long fight to slowly drain the Radiant's Stormlight more than a hyper attack who could or not work and leaves you powerless
  11. Considerate also Kel and Marsh. A Seeker and a Mistborn. Arose from the same "pool". Much more Straff (as pointed before) was the father of a mixer group of allomancers.
  12. That was a Kandra under his Contract in TFE. Nothing like that will happen now and much more is no a comment Who make sense if his Identity is a secret. I remember someone Who think He was an Aimian but I think It's Almost disproved
  13. But changing feeling on Command is not something a Kandra could do.
  14. If the Ettmetal's explosion leaves Lerasium as residue. The Southern Will be full of Allomancers. This doesn't seem the case for their Metalborns' status
  15. I think the Plate (if the helmet is at Its place) will offer resistance (or immunity) to Emotional Allomancy, in the same way Alluminium foiled hat provides
  16. I think some WoB compared Pewter and Plate to the same level.
  17. @Thanatos It's really nice how you avoided the relevant parts to reply to something not really relevant. The Investiture is a renewable source as when used it simply return to the source after a while and Atium is placed in the sentence only as reference to something renewable as well not as the same kind of "stuff"...This is not new and it's not the contested part. What you missed is the fact that Breath is a fuel for magic. An Awakened Object would run out of Breath soon or later (simply Awakening took LOONG time to consume a Breath) and new Breath need to be provided if you want to keep him active. The fact that the Color draining happen also when there is no Awakening involved as when two people give their Breath. On another note, I am not said Stormlight is of Honor. Honestly it's also meaningless...Simply don't present as a fact something we don't know.
  18. Yes but there are some requirements. Be a magic user is often Better...but the requirements are others, like be' Connected enough with the Shard
  19. Relevant WoB Honestly more than quoting the explicit WoB and Explain to you the mechanics behid (previous post)...I have an hard time to explain to how the Cosmere's magic works XD
  20. Much more, in many factor Stormlight doesn't play a part at all. A Knight Radiant without Stormlight has still his Resonance and his Shardblade for example. Same thing of course with a Deadblade's bond
  21. They knowed nothing of this stuff. Kelsier teached this things to them directly or undirectly
  22. I will quote myself from the other topic: And also if I think Stormlight is not made of Honor's Investiture, we have no proof therefore I will avoid to claim it as a fact
  23. Really unlikely. Your whole idea is a bit a paradox. If Kelsier needs the Harmonium to "resurrect" himself (something that is strictly false, but It's meaningless for the topic), he could not go to the Southern to obtain Harmonium. Kelsier arrived to them already physical and already with his Spike. Notice also the Harmonium can't be' pratically used into Hemalurgy as It will explode in contact with water (and Blood)
  24. Not always. Spook for example didn't even know to have a piece of metal inside of himself...but he recived already the Hemalurgical effect. Similar the Koloss and Inquisitors crafting isn't something you could do It wihtout the subject gains. But the trasformation still happen. Hemalurgy works directly ripping and attaching piece of Souls. In its default, I see no place for cognitive and perception.
  25. I really doubt there is a perception component in Hemalurgy. The Spiked One gains the effect without even know to be Spiked.
