  1. Probably The Lifeless army would use Nightblood-like weapons without uncover them...we know how Nightblood is powerful in combat also without uses external Investiture. Much more for now, we don't have prove Nightblood feeds of his victim's Investiture. Indeed the Warbreaker's fight is a clue aganist this. Lastly I have a theory about Nightblood as uncapable of feeding on Lifeless's Breath for Breath's own nature. But It's actually meaningless here...as without Investiture to consume. Nightblood Will not expose any extra power. Indeed an uncovered Nightblood without external Investiture would become weaker and weaker
  2. There is really no difference. The Soul is stores in the Spiritual realm. So the Spike's soul merges or links with he stolen One....but also try to find a distinction between merge and link is quite futile for the Realmatic as both the things Will be simply Connections between the two Spiritwebs
  3. Yeah It was a well known thing. Is One of the reasons I spoke aganist the Nightblood=Awakened Sprenblade
  4. I considerated this but the Unmades were already there in the previous Desolations, while the Dawnshards' Lost seems to be more recent

    Sel Timeline

The earthquake or Better the chasm, would cause that effect on Selish's magic regardless where happen. If that happen into MaiPon, the Forgery will stop to work. If that happened into Fjordel the Drakhor Will stop to work...and as the Monk are body integrated with their magic. I think this could cause something similar to the Reod. PS: Always from your quoted post, no magic system is designed by Shards. They naturally come to be from the Shards' Investiture interacting with the Planet where they Invest into
  6. Breath (and Awakening) seems really to be likely to developing Slivers rather than Savants. Personally I think the God-Kings are probably Endowment's Slivers thanks to their Breath's Vault. But no actual proof here...Just strong clues. About the Savantism regard the Breath. I will join the "Breath doesn't cause Savantism" as the Breath seem to be parked into the Soul as Innate Investiture rather than Kinetic One. And the Savantism happen through Soul's stress caused by Kinetic Investiture affetting the Soul. Others already pointed on the reversibility of Heightenings, so no need to repeat that point
  7. Well we never saw a Gravtation user to go with multiple Lashing for long distances. I think that It would faint soon or He Need to use the Stormlight Healing to remain awake....Also because usually when you Lash yourself, you do It in the worst way possible for an acceleration's PoV. The pilots uses specific trick (from their equipment) together with their training to sustain High G. Those equipments are unluckly mainly uneffective for a veicleless gravitation user (maybe some of them could be replicated by Fabrial)
  8. I believe Brandon never said something like that. Anyway accessing that magnitude of Investiture would simply probably end with Nightblood's Ascension so Nightblood would become the Shard's Vessel...also if Nightblood would be a poor Vessel for a Shard for its features

    Burning Pewter?

Yeah, Vin's case is a bit weird because the physics helps her a bit in some context. She develop less Force than the others average thugs (because her basic strenght is really low) but when she hit with bare body, her punch/kick/ec... apply that Force in a lesser area (because she is so tiny) and this result in a greater pressure. She is also quite skilled to flare Pewter only when She needs and therefore her actual hit are quite fearsome (and the gap become lesser and lesser). Without considerate the advantage of her tiny form: Basic Vin: 5 | Pewter Vin: 15 | Flaring Vin: 25 Better Basic Vin: 5 | Better Pwerter Vin: 16 | Better Flaring Vin: 27 Regular Adult man: 10 | Pewter Adult: 20 | Flaring Adult: 30 Fit Adult man: 12 | Petwer Fit Adult: 22 | Flaring Fit Adult: 32 I made some considerations, they could be speculative but not really high speculative: - All the Strenghts are not "muscle only" but the whole spectrum of physical activities, a Fit Man isn't really twice or something like that stronger than an average guy...So a surplus of 20% of power is enough to me. - Vin is quite fit for a girl of her weight, so give them roughtly the half of an average adult man's strenght is probably too low but I prefered to give a worst scenario. - If Vin is actually stronger than an average Allomancer, her surplus is not really "too strong". Therefore if Vin is actually a bit stronger, it will be something like something +10%
  10. Yes I could try to find It. But basically It says that if a Shard is Vesselless for too long. It could indipendently try to find a new Vessel, develop a sentence of Its own or auto-splinter itself.
  11. There is another WoB, I will try to find it...It is more explicit in this regard. EDIT: Sorry I mixed two WoB, the one I talked about was this:
  12. The self-splintering is Just One of the possible outcomes. While this is a cool outcome for Odium, the others are really Dangerous for him. So he puts effort to properly Splinter the Shard rather than hoping the Shard does what he would like. We don't even know where the Self-splintering would release Investiture into
  13. Yeah you have to search a WoB about Depression VS Healing. Brandon explains the Healing could (or not) work regard the Depression's source
  14. Yeah, his brain chemistry/structure was different/wrong...The Healing could fix that
  15. Not excatly. Healing could heal mental disorders if they are caused by a physical reason. Wrong brain chemistry could be healed, Cognitive issues are not.
  16. To answer to this question I have to go a bit beyond Stormlight Archive but I will try to remain in the series. Wit has one of the best Cosmere's self-Healing ability (for now he is the best, but we can't know if there is something better than his Healing). He wasn't afraid of the Shardblade as he could easily Heal his Soul after the Blade's cut (this is not something unhearded as also the Stormlight's healing could do this). The fact is we don't know the Ability's source so it's hard to say what his limits are. Using Nightblood to attack him would require a lot of Investiture to Heal but I personally don't think it will be enough to finish off. The fact is Nightblood cuts into all the Three Realms and while we know someone could heal from Physical and Spiritual wounds...we don't know if the Cognitive wounds could be healed.

    Shardblade ability?

Like Weltall said the Shardblade cuts the Spiritual and the Physical with the Spiritual as primary target. Probably the difference between living and not targets is all in the amount of Soul's Investiture. A living being's soul is really greater and more Invested so the Blade can't cut both the Soul and the Physical at the same time. For unanimate target the Blade's cut is enough to destroy the soul and also affect the physical
  18. Cosmere is real about realism with its own rules. Anyway, I don't understand what you want to obtain with a feruchemical charged bullet
  19. I don't want to be pedantic, but it's the same thing with the third Oath, Kal drained all the Gemstome's Stormlight in the area....and then he bursted in Stormlight. Sure there could be some "extra" but the main amount arrived from the gemstones. Or do I remember wrong ? This time I am near home, in a couple of hours I could check on the books if you want
  20. I think the Healing will be consumed to mantain the body "alive" and then to fix it...so with a weapon left there, if the weapon could be pushed out from muscles it would be removed. A weapon unremovable would probably avoid the fully regeneration...Like a cycle of hurt and heal
  21. Again I have not the books here. But I remember that Kal in that istance tapped Stormlight from Listeners' beard-gems. Maybe his Stormlight drawning was improved by the Oath allowing him to access farther Stormlight. So he passed to be uncapable to access It to a suddenly good access while He was moving to Attack them
  22. While Jasnah was there surelly She hates those guys. The reason She decided to go there is not Emotional driven. It's like to say that Kal was not protection Dalinar Just because he hated to a certain degree Szeth.
  23. Actually regardless the Emotional moment. Jasnah went in that alley planning to kill a long term problem for her host. A problem the local Law can't or want not resolve. She explained her actions for a purelly Logic view. Yeah She could hate them...but the reason She did It, It's not emotion driven.
  24. If Kal know a bit of Nightblood I could see the fight a Little balanced. Short but balanced....Szeth needs to win fast or Nightblood would discharge his Investiture's reserve Soon. If Kal doesn't know of Nightblood. Szeth win fast.
  25. I thought the same but Soon I realized this is not the case. The KR didn't tap from the others Realms and neither their own level of Investiture changes as the Spren integrated in their Souls remain the same. Sure It's possible the Spren itself could tap from other Realms exploiting the Bond's improvement...but It's High speculative and much more isn't showed in other critical istances. It's also possibile the (relative) huge flow of Investiture is linked to Syl's resurrection. I can't check in the books at the moment but I don't remember a proper similar boost with the second Oath.
