Nicrosil Compounding - Why the Lord Ruler was such a powerful mistborn
Yata replied to Solomonster's question in Cosmere Q&A
TLR was still further than that, He wasn't a Lerasium Mistborn, he was far beyond that level...He used the Well to achieve the peak of what was possible with Allomancy. In short, he cheat to reach the maximum stable power avaliable and then he got a bit stronger through Savantism during the 1000 years of TFE -
I don't think the Voidlight is a poor approximation of Stormlight. They simply have different proprierties. Burst less and last long is not a issue is just a different rate. Probably it will happen the same if someone develop a way to fuel Surgebinding with Breath. The Breaths are really sticky and therefore they will be really slow to be used as fuel.

Well it's a really superficial comparison. It's like to say that Renarin and Jasnah are the same because both are high ranking Alethi, both are in Dalinar's forces and both know Stuffs beyond the average knowledge of their faction. Characters are much more than the context they are. Venli and Eshonai are really different people with different attitude and different approches and goals. Their situation is also extremely different also if they were the copy of each others... Eshonai will never follow the same Venli's progression (and vice versa). I like Eshonai, really and I like Venli too. The two are so different in almost everything to the point that their likehoods could be mostly resumed in your list (and a bit more) But yeah this is not the actual topic, so sorry for going OT

Sorry Cal, my mind works faster than WoB
-
She was dead, but her own admision. A Deadeyes is what happened when a Spren is "killed" by an Oathbreaking. We didn't see her, you have right...But the context points more to her Deadeye-ness than other outcomes

As R'shara said, Kal wasn't enough into his Radiancy to manifest Syl as a Blade and therefore she didn't became a physical Blade upon the Oathbreak. But she was mind-broke like Maya and she became a Deadeye

You are not the First to try this approch but to me It has no sense. The Investiture usage is proportional to the effect generated. So assuming for absurd, the Fused's units are the Braize ones and those are less than Rosharans. They could obtain the same effect Lashing 1,x times themself. In the case I was unclear, I will clarify Better my point when I am more awake

Theory on the Sovereign's appearance (BoM Spoilers)
Yata replied to Faceless Mist-Wraith's topic in Mistborn
I still believe Kel didn't steal someone body but just fixed his connection to the physical with Hemalurgy and then he just Jump into a Perp to transition in Blood and flesh... But at this point mine is Just speculation (as my idea of him not be' a Fullborn) -
[OB] The Second Most Baseless Parshendi Theory!
Yata replied to Vortaan's topic in Stormlight Archive
I have to re-check the books for the actual quote but Honor said the Dawnshards are Lost and not avaliable. We know at least of two Perfect gemstones (and I assume there would be much more) around on Roshar in places easily accessible by KR and Honor. This is a great contro to the Dawnshards=Perfect gemstones hypotesis. Also Honor in the same sentence points at the Dawnshards lost as a shame for the war aganist Odium and this pushes me to go aganist the plague hypotesis too. EDIT: Fixed some autocorrector's errors -
I liked Eshonai but I find Venli as a more interesting character. I am glad to be' able to read others Eshonai's PoV in book 4 to Explore her more. But the adult Eshonai was mainly what we already saw and no more. By the way, She was already under control for her faulty bond...I believe She would be One of the first to be' disposed once the Desolation properly starts. Returning to Venli, I don't see Venli as a replacement... The two characters are truly too different to see them in that way. Lastly I have to completely disagree with the "biggest mistake in OB". To me the discover of Eshonai's body was One of the top moments in OB. Her survival was plausible and my mind automatically accepted her as alive. Indeed She survive the call only to suffucate in the Storm just After (A risk well explained in wok and WoR)... I like her as a character and her death was a shock. But It was a well planned shock

But this tell us almost nothing as what is the difference between an AI and a human consciousness ?
-
Humans could have this traits because they are an intimate parts of the being that create them...Like you said it's a chicken/egg scenario).

First of all sorry for the late answer. I checked the Surges the Fused didn't exibit and there aren't too much of them. Between the "possible spots" I choose Adhesion as main "missing Surge" because it's both the Surge most associate to Honor and because we know by WoB the Unmade could have a corrispondence with Orders and the Bondsmith are the one without the "related Unmade". Of course Yelig-Nar showed as able to manipulate all the Surges but there must be a Surge less fitted to be manipulated with Odium's power and those clues point me to think it's Adhesion.

@SallyA I am not sure about what you are refering to the shattering to be begun again
-
Probably a lesser Spren will not gift magic Powers upon bonding
-
@Calderis there is a recent WoB that confirm the possibility for Fabrial to mimic Voidbinding too. Returning to the main point, we saw also a Fused Lightweaving in the Shallan's way (something Renarin seems uncapable of doing It) during the attract to the Vault. And we had a confirmation that Fused has not a specific Surge (so 9 Powers) while the Voidbinding chart shows all ten the canonical Surges.

Assuming the eye-spikes are made of Steel, they could hold one between A-steel, A-Iron, A-Pewter or A-tin....but unluckly we can't be' sure about the specific one. I assumed that one grants A-IRON and the other A-steel but It's Just a speculation of mine
-
Yeah Nohadon is right, @Arash.F . You could find the more recent topic about TLR VS Godking here I am quite sure there are others about, but now I can't find them
-
It depend mainly on the reserves of Investiture those Surgebinders have. By the way, having all the Surges doesn't impact too much the fight as many of them are unfitting for fights. The problem is still that a Steel Compounder could reach speed so high to be mostly unable to be coutered. You could have all the powers of the world but if you can't avoid the single hit that will kill you...it's useless. Both Fused and Surgebinders could be one shotted (and this not only by a Fullborn but everyone able to gave them a clear hit in the right spot) so I assume they could not be enough to defeat a fullborn. I could see some chance for an Herald pre-honor death, when they have unlimited Investiture but mainly the problems remain
-
Well Kal-Protection- stormblessed planned both to Murder a man he hates and to allow someone to Murder someone else he sweared to protect. People are not Perfect and they make errors... Judging Adolin as unfitting for a specific instance. It's like judging Kaladin unfitting for Windrunners.

I have a controversal view about Maya's revival. First of all, I see Adolin as an Edgedancer. I could fit him with the notions about the Edgedancer we know. Also, the Edgedancer's Spren are for their own nature the easier to revive as the order's mantra is about caring of the others and the simple act of try to revival them fits also the order. But, be' a potential Edgedancer is not enough for the task. An ok Edgedancer could bond a Cultivationspren and turn into a Radiant. A good/great Edgedancer would be Need to recover a Deadeyes and resurrect him/her. Adolin could be' enough for the first but not enough for the latter. Lastly, but this is high speculative. I sadly believe that a Radiant Spren could not be' fully recovered by someone who is not the One performing the Oathbreak. A piece of them was ripped out (trapped in the Oathbreaker's soul) and also if a new bond will mitigate the damage, the Lost part will not regrowth (pun intended). I see the the "revived Spren" as a middle status between Deadeyes and healthy Spren, probably they could gave to the partener something more than what a Shardbearer gains (Faster summon and maybe the ability to shapeshift) but nothing close to Radiancy

Yes, and this allows him to store more than he could usually do without impairing himself.

Yeah and every Inquisitor made from Seeker would need an Atium Spike to gain A-atium. So It's hard to believe Spook can't put his hands in some Atium. Sure, I believe he didn't use Atium Compound to live 120 years...but was definitivelly something in his possibility. The only hard part is to find some way to gain f Atium..
