  1. To be honest I don't understand the tapping alluminium part.... you have need to stay with no Identity to created unkeyed Metalmind. What is the point if you tap Identity ?
  2. Or (but this solution needs the knowledge of Hemalurgy) You spike a lot of People to stole them their Identity and the survivors (Cosmere inside joke XD) have probably little or no Identity to use quite Feruchemy without imprint any Identity in the Metalminds.
  3. Yes but my first sentence is taken from a WoB (I can't find it but I have a good memory). The second one is a Speculation of mine, not sure proof... just the more linear solution. Like if the stolen Ruin's Power remained "somewhere" and the Pits generated metal-key to access it.
  4. We have a WoB that says The Atium is quite a normal Metal but with an "extra Spiritual layer" on it. Probably it's more a gateway to a small amount of Investiture than Investiture itself.

    Is Wax a Sliver ?

I think that the "SliverPoint" is very under the level of Investiture needed to Ascend and when someone Ascends he/She surely become a Sliver. The part about Lerasium Mistborn as near to the Investiture needed to the SliveriPoint made me think that Wax and Marasi (probably more Wax) may have reached the Sliverpoint, but to be honest I can't say if just Preservation's Sliver or both Ruin's Sliver. To be honest I think that also others beings have reached the Sliver's Status in the Cosmere and be able of see the true structure of the Matter-Energy-Investiture is some clue. Warbreaker Spoiler But my interpretation of the rules about the Slivers may be wrong
  6. And we know that for definition they have way to gift F-Alluminium or the whole Medallion tech can't work
  7. Actually as I said before. Someone need just a bit of Alluminium took from whaterver he want to overcome this issues. It's a rather weak protection ... I thought in the same way before to notice the flaw in my argument
  8. Wax used the Bands of Mourning tapping amazing amount of Investiture from its reserves, at the point he began to see the true structure of the Cosmere. We know that someone become a Sliver after keep an huge amount of power, the power expands his soul and when the power was there no more, it leave some residual. We know also that a Lerasium Mistborn is near of the amount of power needed to become a Sliver (from a WoB). Therefore, may Wax and Marasi have becomed Slivers ? Any idea ?
  9. You have right, He have to feel foreign charge, if there is some of it. In the end my point about Alluminiummind is still right, but I forgot that a Feruchemist may fell someone else's charge also if He can't tap it. My bad
  10. Probably I was unclear in the first place. Sorry
  11. Yes But as far as I know Aether of Night was being torn to pieces and this pieces where used as elements in another books... This is the reason I avoided to request it. I don't want mess with my Cosmere's knowledge with contents far from canon
  12. Just to mention: On Roshar the presence of Splinter is something quite natural, something in the Shardworld makes the Splinter's born extremely easy. With this scenario, have magic born by Splinter's symbiosis is as natural as for example First of the Sun's bird. Anyway there is a WoB somewhere about the Internal Magic System and the External Ones... and how they work differently. EDIT: I found it: PS: This WoB is only on reddit, maybe it's better to place somewhere in the forum or theoryland for a better reference. To find it now I have to remember a place where it was used in a topic
  13. How to put Nightblood in a loophole: "Your are the Evil, Nightblood" (with Hagrid's voice) and Nalthis develops energy indipendence with a modified "Buttered Cat paradox engine" I don't think your Hypotesis is right.... But it's so hilarious to me
  14. If the Realms have a "hierarchy" it's possible that the Transition to the Beyond have to cross Physical -> Cognitive -> Spiritual -> Beyond And therefore the Cognitive pull of the Sun may mean both Spiritual Realm or Beyond.
  15. We have just (for reference, here):
  16. Like ParadoxSpren said it's hard to tell "it's in this way...easy" on Sel. We are in a place where quite all we know about Shard, MagicSystems , Initiation, ecc may don't matter. The Dor isn't just D&D's Investiture together (like may be Harmony's Investiture). It's D&D's Investiture merged and placed in a Realm different from the rightful one for Shard's power ( I wrote a theory about the Dor as a new Shard, you may find it in my signature if you are interested). Also said that the "this system is of Devotion" or "this system is of Dominion" it's quite a meaningless because we have WoB about a Single Magic System on Sel that expless itself different in way as Regional Sub-Magic Systems. We don't even know if the Magic Sytems we see now are there before D&D's murdering. If they are ex novo Magic Systems borned from the Dor or ancient Magic Systems adapted to the Dor. We know for sure that: - The Selish's Focus is Form. - Seon and Skaze are Devotion or Dominion's Splinters But our sure knowledge about Selish's Investiture finish with this two informations and the rest is just something we speculated on. This is why I find a real mystery the Selish's Magic. It's a special case, it's something hidden in full sight ... And I like solving mystery ...But we have just partial information and it's really hard.
  17. I don't think a Radiant is pulled more in the Cognitive (in normal circustance). We saw what happened to someone near to the Cognitive with Rock (a little) and Lift (a lot in the Cognitive). I think the Nahel Bond pulls together the Human-Spren relationship. This is mean the Spren is pulled more in the physical realm when the Radiant is there. But it may mean that a Radiant while is in the Cognitive Realm (Trasportation Surge or Perpendicularity) is pulled more deeply in the Cognitive.
  18. It's possible, but may be a simple fact of working parameters. Dahkor's magic is all about self enhancment. Everytime we saw Dahkor's magic works outside of the user, it's something raw (like Aon Interference). Probably you can't "heal" just because a Dahkor has not flexibility in his power's use. For example we don't know even if ChayShan give some healing abilities to the user
  19. @Drake Marshall to be honest I don't undertand the difference you talked about in the Spoiler tag, but probably this isn't the best place to explore my doubt
  20. Sorry man, I forgot to paste the reference .... I saw someone else fixes my error.
  21. When a Radiant dies without break his Oaths. The Spren simply returns to the Cognitive Realm as the bonds fade. It's a quite harmless process for the Spren. And probably after little time the Spren may begin to search another potential Radiant.
  22. Yes he did just before to return in the capital. He feel no Feruchemical Charge. But to be honest I don't even know how may works tap someone else Alluminiumind.
  23. I often have problem to sleep and in a long night my mind follow his own thread to unexpected goals, tonight something struck me. Probably it's just a coincidence or some meaningles fact, but here I am. Like everyone of you know, on Sel every Magic System is fueled by the Dor, a source of power from the Cognitive Realm come to be by the merging of Devotion and Dominion's powers (like someone more poetic than me said, "The Selish channel their gods' corpses for thier magic") and we know that on Sel there is actually a single magic system Form-Based who manifest itself different in every region/country (this is actually not really important from my point, but it's better to refresh some memories). On Sel we know at least 6 Magic Systems (some more and some less): AonDor, Dakhor, ChayShan, Forgery, Bloodsealing and an unamed potion's magic. Here I noticed something strange, the only Magic Systems that twist the users are AonDor and Dakhor, now I know someone may argue saing AonDor doesn't twist the user and only "change" it, but really it's just semantic... There is no a great difference between the Shaod and the Dakhor pray to change a monk (just one of these is automated and the other is not). These are also the only Magic Systems that seem align with Devotion (AonDor) and Dominion (Dahkor)'s Intents. Therefore this is my point: Is It possible that the Magic Users were twisted/changed to allow them to filter the Dor and use only the Devotion OR Dominion's Investiture to perform their Magic ? (or some other unbalance in their magic need a not-standard user to be used) I am not really convinced on this idea, but it isn't something a can simply ignore without some counterproof.
  24. I though about this mysterious belt for a while and although I think it is just a decoration. I have created a scenario in which Kelsier can actually uses an aluminum belt for meaningful purpose (just as hypoteis). He may avoid to incorporate Alluminium in Bands to made a casual replication of the Bands more hard. I explain myself better, someone may with some incredible brave/stupid plan, manage to touch the Bands while someone else owned the Artifact. With a casual touch, someone with enough pratice, may store some (or all) the "SpiritWeb" in another NicrosilMind on his body. Probably this guy will be killed by Bands's owner and his new Nicrosilmind (witch contains quite Fullborn power) are useless because it's tied to his Identity... And the Bands are still the only source of Godlike Powe (like Copyright's revenge XD) Edit: I am an idiot, everyone who manage to try such foolish plan, have just to carry on himself some Alluminium to avoid this hypotetical protection
  25. I and a friend of mine waited a month for the book
