  1. Yeah, but why would he?
  2. I've got one. And, it's not Cosmere related (for once!) Why did OreSeur sign up for Kelsier's plan? Was he forced to because of his contract? Or did he actually want to? Also, how do Kandra decide gender? Is it just intellectual? Or are there subtle physical differences? The way I can think of the first one getting RAFO'd is if it's mentioned in the cursed RPG story.
  3. This made it
  4. Nexuspalm= yes. You're going to fit right in.
  5. Even if it's as leader of refugees, he'll show. EDIT- Oh! I got it. Hoid will be the town drunk. Or, he will be the postman that gives Wax the letter informing him that he is now the head of one of the Great Houses. EDIT EDIT- Or the newspaper man. I could see that too. Of course, then he'd have to trim his beard. He may object to that.
  6. Was it you that I was talking to in the Brandonothology? Also, Welcome! We're glad to add another member to our ranks.
  7. It could be something simple- like a princess that had her hand burned, so she put a sleeve to hide it and everyone emulated her- or it could be something drastically important- at some point in the forgotten past, it was prophesied that the savior of the planet and the slayer of Odium would use HER right hand, because her left was safe and covered. But knowing Brandon, there is SOME reason behind it.
  8. This gives me hope for our theorizing. It's amazing how close TWG (and you) got to the truth. Although I have to chuckle a bit about the Allomantic Hobo. If for nothing else than the name. Also, when is the RPG coming out for Mistborn? I hate hearing "soon". I want a date!
  9. Maybe that's the Oathpact. Odium agreed that in exchange for being able to subject the Heralds to everlasting pain, the Heralds get to come back and attempt to prevent the same thing from happening to mankind. They eventually got sick of it (see Prelude), and they gave up. They hoped that keeping one of them bound would be enough to keep the Oathpact, and they figured that the Radiants would do a good enough job protecting them. EDIT- Except, there has to be a time limit in there. Because it seems like there's another reason why they follow the Oathpact, a reason why Odium isn't constantly attacking.
  10. I'm not saying Vasher's a planet hopper in Warbreaker. I was thinking, since he's immortal and since Way of Kings is a long time after the Warbreaker, and since Vasher's pretty handy with a sword.... But no. I don't think so anymore. Despite being good with a sword, he doesn't have darker skin. And, I don't know. Vasher tends to be a little more aggressive and a little less Blunt.
  11. Cthulhu and told
  12. Shuden says it. Page.. 167? Let me Amazon it. Almost. Elantris hardback 162. The only textual reference I can think of to debunk it is this one: Elantris Hardback 376-377:
  13. Yep.
  14. Maybe Skai is Unity. If we look at Elantris, we see two (main) religions. No, not Shu-Dereth and Shu-Korathi. No, the two main religions are Elantrians and Shu-Keseg. Korathi and Derethi were based off of two interpretations of Keseg. All three are based on unity. Korathi is based off of unity through love. Derethi is based off of unity through obedience. Keseg is based off of unity through mind.
  15. But that only works if you have enough mental will. Otherwise you get Nightblood when Vasher draws him completely.
  16. Ending up in the Broom Paradox Mickey Mouse ran into in Fantasia.
  17. But then "protect innocence" could easily become "imprison everyone." After all, the best way to make sure that people don't get hurt is to make sure they never have the chance to get hurt.
  18. Well, let's say that the capital of a country has about 30,000 people. That's enough to power at least 10 Nightbloods. That could end... poorly. Plus, if it is "Destroy Hallandren" or "Destroy Returned", Hallandren could be in trouble.
  19. Meh. He's my cousin. He can say things like that. And plus, he's not saying that I'm dumb. Just that my theory isn't strong. I can see King Benjamen. Plus, most people don't remember that Benjamen also defended the kingdom, not just talked about it.
  20. Or maybe there is 10 orders for the Heralds, 10 for the Old magic and 10 for the Voidbringers.
  21. Look! Round three is up! It's Zeddicus versus Vin. http://sf-fantasy.suvudu.com/2011/03/cage-match-2011-zeddicus-zul-zorander-versus-vin.html
  22. More spoilers! It could be if people have faith in you. That's why Kelsier is able to speak to Spook, and why Vin can speak to Elend. Or maybe it has to do with being a Mistborn.
  23. Mormon? That doesn't make much sense. Now Captain Moroni... (general of armies, makes "title of liberty", protects the land, and writes an angry letter when he thinks the government went corrupt) That makes sense. But, as has been said, it's unlikely these are conscious decisions.
  24. Isn't that where it is believed Adonalsium is shattered? also, *cough* *cough* *there's nothing here* *cough* *cough*.
  25. Maybe Jezerieh took it up. Maybe that's who Kaladin sees when he "rides the storm."
