  1. An interesting one is TLR playing the flute. Maybe that's why Hoid was so upset that Kaladin lost the flute...
  2. I bet you could. Spike out the connection that other person has with another person, and spike it into yourself (or another person). I bet it could be stolen. It's a REAL dark art.
  3. Check your inbox.
  4. Looks like there's another chapter of Calamity available on io9.com! Although, truth be told, I was really worried about clicking on it since it said "First look at the Final Chapter in Brandon Sanderson's Superhero trilogy!" But don't you worry. It's just the prologue, chapter one, and chapter two.
  5. So looking on Tor.com, it looks like Chris Lough has come up with some ideas on how FTL travel will come to pass in the Era 4 Trilogy. Here it is for those of you curious. EDIT- Just read through it, and it looks like it has a shout out to us on our FTL theories!
  6. So it is Cazzi, not Canzi?
  7. I'll see if Peter answers in the Typo thread.
  8. So looking at the body-religion in Hero of Ages that Harmony uses as the model to reform people how they should be, in my book it says "Canzi", but on the wiki, this redirects to Cazzi. Was this a typo in my book? Or should it be Canzi? EDIT- I see that in FE, it's Cazzi, but the 3 times it's mentioned in HoA, it's Canzi.
  9. I'm fairly certain that this has already been taken care of, but in HoA, in Chapter 4 on page 42, it mentions the Canzi religion, which seems really similar to the Cazzi religion mentioned in other places that talks about the sanctity of the body and such. Is this a typo, or was this a seperate religion? EDIT- Never mind! It looks like Cazzi was the typo on the Wiki, and Canzi is canon. DOUBLE EDIT- Well, it looks like it's Cazzi in Book 1, then Canzi in Book 3. Which is canon? Or are we just going to say they're both names for the same thing?
  10. Some questions I've had through my MB readthrough- 1. Can bronze detect someone using feruchemy? I'd imagine not, since they're only internally manipulating properties instead of influencing the outside world. Except for maybe luck or connection or something like that. Maybe that could be detected? 2. What would've happened if Kelsier and the group had found and recruited Zane instead of Vin? 3. Why did OreSeur take up the contract to overthrow TLR? I know he's said that he's got some of this in his head, and as a possible story, but I'd like to hear more of it from him. 4. Did the Ministry know about Duralumin? (This one almost certanly has an answer). It seems to me that a MB with a nicrosil metalmind (which stores Investiture) would make a insta-TLR, which would be very very scary. EDIT- Did TLR control the Inquisitors in the same way that he controlled the Koloss? Or were they loyal to him for more ordinary reasons? If TLR did control them through Allomancy, how did Marsh break free? Was he just too early, and TLR hadn't corralled him yet? Or did Ruin help him to break free? Are the pits that Harmony protected still known to be around in Elendel? Or are they believed to have collapsed/fallen into disrepair/filled in? (Because who knows if they actually are, I just want to know what's believed). Huh. The Canzi (pg 42 HoA) sound a lot like Yim's religion. I'll have to look more into it later...
  11. To make a Hemalurgically charged spike Awakened would require an incredible amount of Breath. It'd be something like trying to make a Drab out of someone already living.
  12. I think that 5 upvotes and 5 downvotes each cycle is a lot- as a player, I wouldn't want to have to essentially place 5 "good" minivotes and 5 "bad" minivotes each cycle.
  13. It can be here, I think. I personally believe that Hoid definitely had something to do with the founding of the Wit Killers, the Enefel. We don't know why he founded them , besides maybe having a group that he could immediately identify with and use for his larger purposes. However, it's hard to know for sure, because we're not really sure what Hoid's overall purpose is. It could be the first time that Hoid jumps- but we don't know. I'd imagine Hoid would be around for when the Honorpact was made/ was broken, which could be before the Enefel were created.
  14. "So let's see if I got this right. Gavin "accidentally" kills your sister, so you plot your revenge and ally with his enemies and kill a bunch of innocent people, then, when he's right in front of you, you not only miss the wrong person, but you hit them in the knee!?" Zane was clearly very upset. "I mean, I understand the urge, but Rust and Ruin, couldn't you have had better aim!?" Zane breathed in and out in an attempt to calm himself. He didn't know why "Doctor" McNinja was being so quiet. "But. Hopefully this is just a flesh wound. Legs aren't vital organs, and I shouldn't die from this. Gavin's going to be here in 2 hours. At that time, you're going to die for you crimes, and I'm going to be able to leave and get to a Rusting hospital." "But that's me. The question is, what are you going to do? You have one last chance with Gavin. What's your plan? Depending on what it is, I may be willing to help."
