  1. I'm still with Neo. I was in the passenger car, and here's the people that were with me: Jasonpenguin Bort OrlokTsubodai Zas678 Surprisingly, our bid went through, which is a measure of good note (though not very clearing) of the group.
  2. Personally, what I think happened is that Peng sees what's going on, and that Neo has a good shot of being killed, so he sends in his kill vote to Neo as well as a strategy to get out of being killed, which includes accusing Dow. Peng asks if he's willing to bet his life on it (cause even one mislynch at this point makes it worth it for the CC), and Neo says yes. Peng then changes his vote, and starts the lynchtrain on Dow.
  3. I doubt there'll be any soon. Peter's helping edit the Alloy of Law sequels right now, then Calamity after that. Maybe after that he might have time, but don't expect it soon.
  4. This should probably be in General Discussion. I'll go ahead and move it there.
  5. So here's what happened in the passenger car. We have a top number of 11 coins, so we all decide to bet 2 to have some wiggle room. Aanwolf comes up with the idea that we should have no wiggle room so that no one gets greedy. We agree, and I'm the one designated to take the third coin. Someone else either raised to three coins, so we all failed. Here's the list again for people to analyze. There's a good chance that one of these people is a CC. Bridge Boy Zas678 Clanky Neo Aanwolf The only thing of difference in our betting is that Aanwolf suggested the no wiggle room. Was it so that he didn't have to loose 4 coins instead of 3? I don't know. I'm still suspicious of Neo, and my vote stays on him for now. EDIT- Some numbers. We now only have 13 passengers, and 3 are likely to die tonight. We have either 4 or 5 CC, so if we're unlucky, tomorrow or the next will be our last cycle. We haven't hit a CC yet, so now we can't miss, or we loose. Hopefully our lynch and Gamma are both CC's.
  6. Just a notice that the Passenger car got scammed last night. There's a good chance that one of the Cultists broke it to prevent us all from getting it, so there's a very good chance that one or more of these people is a cultist: Passenger Car Cycle 4 Bridge Boy Zas678 Clanky Neo Aanwolf I'd also really like to know what went down in the caboose. My vote's still on Neo for this round. EDIT- I'd also like to know who gave Gamma a med kit? A cultist? Someone who he trusts? Is he a villager? A cultist?
  7. See, I think if she was evil, she wouldn't have tried to only use one coin- she would've used her considerable amount to make sure that no one else grabbed it. Not doing so made it so that it was potentially anyone's hire, and a potential assassin could go down- but now my suspicions are becoming stronger with you Neo. I think you're a cultist.
  8. Okay Shallan. Though I'm not entirely convinced, that should be good for now. And Lief said he got the assassin with 6 coins. I just read through the last two days, and the one I'm suspicious of is Neo. His tone and playing style seem to be different from last cycle, though Elantris is a bit different than the main thread, but more than that, he seems to be present, but not contributing in a majorly significant way. He seems to be posting enough that he doesn't get called out, but not too much so that his posts will get analyzed. The CC haven't had a single eliminator lynched yet, so they haven't had a big reason to post and be active. He's voted for side players that haven't been under threat. This was the approach that the Elminators took in LG12, and it could be the strategy Neo's using now.
  9. I'm in favor of posting the lists publicly as well. It's a way to calculate Coin distribution, and see where people are missing (or potentially could have) coins. Yes, it's information that the cultists don't actively have, but I bet that they're managing a way to still communicate it- perhaps everyone sends the Killer their rooms, and then the round after, the old Killer sends that information to the new Killer. I bet they've got pretty good information distribution. And Aanwolf, I think you should just post what room you are in. It doesn't make much difference for either side knowing where just one room is. Shallan, I want to know why your kill didn't go through.
  10. It was good! We talked about SE, the tumblr side of the fandom, movies, fictional characters we'd want to meet/mary, and caught up with each other.
  11. Double post! Sorry. I'll go ahead and bring some Little Ceasar's then. If anyone wants to bring any cards or board games, it'd be nice to have something to do.
  12. Hey Elsecaller, if you live here in Utah, you should come to the BYU cosmere club tonight! Here's the details.
  13. So just a reminder that this is today at 7! Same place, same time. Since slowswift isn't going to be bringing food, does someone else want to volunteer? EDIT- So at the JFSB at BYU in Provo.
  14. As the resident Hoed, I can tell you what my words are! Pain, Yes, No, Kill, Suspicious. I ended up using Morse, and I used Pain, with Bolding for dots, and underlines for dashes. So something like this: Pain Pain Pain Pain Pain Pain Pain Pain Pain It was pretty easy to write (I ended up translating it on a website, then putting it in Word and find-replacing dots with bolded Pain, dash with underline Pain). But I found the real trouble was translating BACK. People see something, see it's in code, and are like- eh, I'll let someone else translate it. I only posted a handful of times in the Elantris thread, cause I knew no one trusted me, and it didn't seem like people translated often when I posted there. The cultissts got a lot of my morse though, and translated it pretty quickly. Looking through the doc, by the time I died, I posted Pain about 1363 times Yes/No questions were WAY easier.
  15. Well, that didn't work. EDIT- So Wolf was Caboosed, and now we have 4 Villagers dead, and we're not very close to finding any CCs. Does anyone have any suspicions? Lady Eowyn was probably in the Caboose, since she wasn't posted in either the buffet or the passenger train.
  16. I'd like to know who those people are, since it did lead to a difference in the lynch. Or barring that, did they post before or after Adamir had some votes on him? Because, if Bort was REALLY sneaky, and he knew he was going to be caboosed, and he and Adamir were both CC, he could try that risk to try and clear himself. But there's only a 50-50 chance. I'm not sure that's worth it. And sorry, Adamir, that my assumptions include that you're a CC. That's just the assumption that I have to make to be able to pull info out of the failed lynch.
  17. So here's what I got from the last round. So Adamir looks like he's going to be lynched with Araris, a villager, in second place. Suddenly, the only person who voted for Adamir in the Caboose (Bort), gets thrown off the end of the train, and Adamir, through luck, survives. My question is- how public was that vote? Was it something done in the shadows, or was there in-car debate that decided on Bort, to possibly prevent a killing? I can easily see two or more cultists in the caboose, seeing that Adamir (possibly a fellow cultist?) is about to get lynched, and try and even out the vote the most anonymous way they can- through neutralizing Bort's vote. Which could mean that IF the vote was done secretly (and possibly otherwise as well), Adamir is potentially a cultist, and two or more CC were on the caboose first cylce.
  18. I'm not sure who to vote for, to be honest. First day lynches are hard, and they're pretty easily influenced away from Eliminators to Cultists Villagers. But the discussion always helps. More information at the hands of the public is generally good for the villagers (although not quite so much in this case, when the eliminators don't have as much conversation with each other). Truth be told, I'm a little suspicious (though not much) of Adamir. I don't *think* he's a cultist, but he's been a little erratic in his playing style, and I know I was wanting to be very much active last game, which was my first, especially since I was an Eliminator. It's possible that Adamir's experiencing the same thing.
  19. I think that he gets a lot of his online fan interaction from Reddit and Twitter, where he'll answer questions and such, since he knows that he won't be bombarded with stuff like he would here. However, I know Peter reads through these forums, and I bet Peter shows him some things from time to time, whether if it's to say "That's WAY off" or "They actually got it right!" Or to show him Pugs. That too. That being said, I am unable to comment on the presence of Brandon Sanderson as an alt account in 17th Shard.
