  1. That was actually very clever and it almost had worked too. We discussed using my ability to kill her off but Kipper and I agreed that we would rather her live (him so he could manipulate her through PMs and me because I wanted to see if we could keep her alive and still win the game for the fun/challenge of it). Anyway, for that you have just been elevated in my list of people to be wary of. Thanks for explaining it to me xD. That is 100% of my fault, Bort. Sorry for that. I swear I had seen someone vote for him earlier, but looking back I see that was not the case. Thank you for all of your responses. EDIT: I am in the process of going over in detail all of the posts that I was not present for in a similar fashion to what I did earlier for the first half of the turn.
  2. That list of suspicions was yet another way to instigate more conversation out of players who in my opinion have been "skating by without contributing much." My intent is to get them to respond so that I can get a more efficient read on whether or not they are evil. Thank you for your help. That large post was just a summary of thing's that all players did / said that I think are worthy of taking note. I'm not saying I disagree with you on any of those points. An "experienced" player is very likely to die. PMs are very useful for gathering information and I expect a lot of players will take advantage of them. We will have a lot more information to work with Day 3 as opposed to Day 1. My reason for adding you to my list of suspicions is because you were making a conscious effort to contribute to the thread (post count) without commenting to anything specific regarding this game, only details that are true for all games. As stated above, I put you on that list to get you to talk more so I could get a more solid read on your intentions. Thank you for responding.
  3. Two things that changed. First, the impermanence of forges, making it that much easier for the HI to turn by the end of this game. Second, my alignment. It was more beneficial to me as a traitor to align to a process of thought that was supportive, as it would foster good opinions of me in other people. Additionally I had nothing to fear of the traitors targeting me as I was among them, and while I was saying in thread that the village should trust the HI I had every intention of taking out the Hemalurgists as soon as possible to get him on my side. This game however there are 30 players apart from myself and Clutch that are not confirmed on my side, so I have to be infinitely more cautious and aggressive.
  4. @Stink: There are two reasons why I think Mail should not be lynched today. One has nothing to do with this game, but MR9. Mail was killed N1, therefore I think it unfair not to give him a chance to partake in this game, regardless of his alignment. I make it my personal policy to try and spread out who gets killed at what stages of these games so that everyone has equal opportunity of having fun. Second, I believe Mail is also one of those players who tends to use PMs more often than the thread itself to gather information, whether good or evil. I am suspicious of him for earlier posts, but not nearly as much as some other players, let alone willing to see him get strung up quite yet,
  5. Using it as a defense is not my entire intention. If I was trying to defend myself I would be bring up several different points that could actually be considered legitimate cases in my favor, at least in comparison to the statement I directed at Kipper. I am not worried about being lynched for the same reason that I am not worried about being killed tonight. I don't expect to live long this game, and I have never been afraid of being a martyr. My entire goal this turn is to get as many people talking as possible and hopefully uncover something of use before I'm taken out, one way or the other. EDITED FOR STINK If Hemalurgists should contact the HI or not; ways to prevent this knowledge from getting into to the traitors. Potential role interactions / strategies that could benefit the crew that can be mentioned without endangering the plans or the crew. Any reads you may have on a player, whether it's purely instinct or analytical Who we are lynching, because it is not a question of if. We are lynching someone today even if it has to be me
  6. @Wilson: I appreciate you taking the time to respond despite your busy schedule. I am just generally more suspicious of players who seem to avoid posting in large amounts, whether quantitative or qualitative. Given that the only way we can obtain information during a day turn (especially on day 1) is through conversation, anyone who gives me reason to believe they are neglecting participating makes me uncomfortable. @Kipper: I believe I had said this to you at the beginning of MR9 shortly before the skaa killed me. If you have reason to suspect me this early in the game it is because I am good. If anybody thinks I would involve myself this heavily on day 1 as a traitor you're wrong. I would have kept up with appearances certainly, but not be this open with my thoughts / opinions, let alone be this willing to challenge others so quickly. As you can see it is an extremely poor strategy for an eliminator given I am currently tied for the lead with the most votes. @Clanky: That was actually the quote from Wyrm I was referencing, however it seems my memory added an extra part of it than I was aware. Still, my interpretation of it is that in order for their actual role to appear in the list of things that can be Forged the next night I would guess that it'd have to be common knowledge too. However we will just have to wait until Wyrm confirms or denies this, and I hope that with it being mentioned again it will be answered soon. EDITED SPELLING ERRORS, ADDED LINES IN ITALIC
  7. It's really just a matter of personal preference, but it bothers me very much if margins are uneven; especially if my name is in front of it. EDIT: I see 5 other players viewing the thread right now but not participating in the conversation. Can more people please get involved? EDIT PART DEUX: I appreciate the vote of confidence Stink, though I would rather hear your opinion on other subjects that have been brought up as well.
  8. Up until this point I have been keeping track of and summarizing every post each player has made throughout the game so far. Here they are for others to reference. Stink First post. Off-topic. Page 3: Replies to Bort informing him that while he is at school / on his phone hence why he is unable to participate for the time being. Alvron Joke-votes Wyrm. Retracts (but not in the original post). Brings up HI discussion again, continuing to push for contact to be established between Hemalurgists and the HI. Thanks Clanky for reminding him of a fact he forgot. Page 2: Says he expects to die or be scanned very early. Expresses hopes that eliminators will let him so that he can be lynched later on for still being alive. Says he would have joke-voted for Wyrm regardless of what side he was on. Perpetuates BB’s off topic post. Creccio Joke-votes Alvron. Retracts. Page 3: Emphasizes that he is contributing. Does not provide any information relevant to this turn, but predicts that an experienced player will be killed by next cycle and some players would have gathered information through PMs that may be of use. Does not believe that we will have much to work with for the first few days. Kipper Posts countdown timer. Joke-votes Alvron. Continues to joke while retracting vote (but not in original post). Page 2: Defends Alvron from Wilson citing the same reasons as Alv and Mail. Says he doesn’t see why BB would be suspicious. Votes for Kas for only posting an image. Eventually retracts vote from Kas after his explanation. Page 4: Argues that the HI should not be treated as a traitor already and encourages him to play to his current alignment, as otherwise that would be "gamethrowing." Supports Hemalurgists telling the HI. Places a second vote on Adavantos for bringing up the possibility of a mayor game as a means to sow dissension. Accuses Adavantos of deliberately misinterpretting what he is saying. Ripple RP post responding to Alvron’s vote. Accepts Alfa’s appology. Expresses suspicions of BB but does not vote. Page 3: Short post saying Kas’ plan seems sound but also advises the chance of the HI betraying us. Adavantos Provides advice to Uninvested Crewmembers. Page 3: Provides opinion on HI situation and advice for all players regardless of role / the Kandra specifically. I mention the possibility that Alvron, Kipper, Stink and myself will likely be killed early on to keep the crew guessing. I also remind people that with the Kandra gaining the ability to scan either role or alignment that the traitors may very well have one. Later uses math to predict when the HI will turn and asks that if a Kandra manages to find a Loyal Hemalurgist and Loyal Elantrian to have them work together to ensure the HI doesn’t switch sides. Challenges Kipper’s opinion of the HI turning himself into a traitor as "gamethrowing." Affirms that the HI is immune to all actions and that we need to focus on a subject other than him for the long term benefit of the village. Emphasizes the dangers associated with the Hemalurgists informing the HI of their identities. Bridge Boy Places serious vote on Alvron for his joke-vote on Wyrm. Continues to push his suspicions on Alvron for the joke-vote after everyone else retracts. BB says he know the eliminators can’t sweep in for a victory like last time, but he doesn’t want them to sweep in for a kill either. The two do not correlate. Alvron voting for Wyrm in the beginning does nothing to foreshadow a last minute mob lynch. If the traitors did that anyway it would only benefit the village by revealing targets for the Mistborn to attack that night and for the lynch the next day. BB responds to Cow’s OOC. Says he wants to lynch someone suspicious rather than blindly voting for someone, which contradicts the blind suspicion he is holding over Alvron’s head. Page 2: Off topic jokes regarding wording in HI’s previous post. Alfa Misunderstands Ripple’s previous post. Votes for her. Retracts with apology. Clanky Clanky: Provides clarification to Alvron regarding Forgers and Hemalurgists. Responds to Cow’s OOC. Asks Wyrm a question: Answer - if a person with a forged role dies their original is revealed in the write-up and it enters the pool of possibly forgable roles if applicable. Wilson Calls Bridge Boy out, citing current win condition. Expresses suspicion of BB for his posts in thread and Alvron for a conversation they had between the two games. Decides not to jump from one vote to another nor poke vote, yet says she wants discussion without instigating it. Page 2: Says she is leaning towards Alv being good but references that she did not suspect Alv last round when he was evil. Mentions she is usually paranoid when it comes to his alignment. “While it’s ideal for player’s to follow their current alignment / win conditions, we do not want to force player’s into playing a certain way." Cow Asks OOC about how much roleplaying is advised. Says he does not understand why anyone would be suspicious of Alvron and asks for clarification. Mailliw Agrees with Wilson’s post. Notes suspicion of BB, but references last game as a reason to hold out. Calls out Kas, Burnt and Lopen. Says he doesn’t care if the HI and the Hemalurgists get in contact, but brings up possibility of a traitor being among the latter. Says he would have expected Alvron to done the joke-vote regardless of the side he is on and thus does not let it affect his opinion of him. Kas O Captain My Captain meme alone. Later posts another meme in response to Kipper then says OOC that he is not in the right mind to analyze due to being half-asleep. Another unhelpful post, this time all RP. Page 3: Large post responding to Arraenae for calling him out. Says he is toning down his seriousness this game to encourage maximum fun but will return to his old ways if necessary. Echoes what I said about not revealing roles and too practice safe personal messaging. Joke vote for himself. Retracts and votes for Orlok as a way to draw his attention / opinion. Says there is no harm in the Hemalurgists contacting the HI, but does not think the HI should becoming a nexus of information. Generates rather large and informative post that includes legitimate defenses to the problems that I listed; conclusion, likely good. Araris Short post regarding his opinion of the Alvron situation, says he will post more later. Arraenae Uses RP to express suspicions of BB and Kas. Calls Kas out for not waiting until he has some sleep to post something. Burnt Spaghetti Says she has no reason to suspect anyone so far and that she likely won’t vote, but then brings up how we could gain information through a lynch and also from a Kandra next cycle. Asks the HI why he voted against her. Lopen Supports Hemalurgists messaging the HI. Mentions possibility of 2 Mistborn to balance out increase in players. Guesses at the roles of the traitors, 5 with roles, 2 roleless. Mentions surprise that the traitors had a Surgebinder last game but ignores the fact that they could get him lynched themselves to remove conversation from the game and clear themselves of suspicion at the same time. Says he could vote for Wilson like last round but doesn’t really “feel like it.” Orlok Responds to Kas’ vote in 15 minutes. Expresses opinion that the Hemalurgists contacting the HI is a bad idea. Says he is not suspicious of BB for his reaction because he would have been advised to behave differently by his eliminators (which is not always the case as seen with Honey last round). Queensteph Posts that she has no suspicions and will save her vote for now. Thanks me for advice. Bort Says he expected someone to make the joke and thus doesn’t suspect Alvron. Votes for BB for his “strong reaction.” A little later posts a small paragraph of RP and calls out two players and a spectator who was viewing the thread but had not said anything since the first page. After Kipper votes for Adavantos says that he agrees we should not reveal to the HI but someone needs to be in contact with him so all the information he gains is not lost to the traitors entirely upon him switching sides. Off-topic comment. Kaid Votes for me while providing counterpoints regarding my press for vigilance. @Bort: My suspicion with you began with your vote on Bridge Boy. Personally I do not think any eliminator in their right mind would have reacted the way he did, especially one with experience in Sanderson Elimination. I think you put the second vote on him simply because at the time he was the best patsy available and hoped to instigate a bandwagon. While I approve of your next post where you call out two players and a spectator, you have not provided any significant imput on the discussion at hand. While you do provide the an alternative idea - that the HI be in contact with someone on the good side so that he can reveal what he learns through his scans - there is no way that he can know for certain that the player he is telling that information to is good and therefore I find it to be a poor plan and one that a traitor would suggest in a light that seems like it would be good for the crew. I am a firm believer in my interpretation of the contribution crusade, in that player's that are unhelpful to the crew / that are likely eliminators are the ones who attempt to skate by without investing themselves too much into the conversation for fear of making enemies or drawing attention to themselves. It has been consistently shown that the most vocal players are the ones who end up lynched or killed by the eliminators overnight, and thus it's an ideal zone of comfortable for one to hide in while the village tears at each other's throats. 9. I could not agree more with anything that Kas just said. He has offerred legitmate defenses to the problems that I have listed; problems that I never realized existed until last game when I witnessed first hand how much information someone can get from what I will refer to as a "stake out." My entire point has been that discussing this subject is not beneficial to us; not now, not five cycles now, not when the game is finished. Players are going to do what they think is best. I am just offering people a different way to look at things in case they never would have seen the dangers themselves. Anyway, I am about to list the players that have posted thus far that I currently suspect of being evil. I am fairly certain that at least one of the players I'm listing is evil, if not more: Creccio, Burnt Spaghetti, Wilson, Mailliw, Araris, Arraenae and Bort. For other peoples reference, the following players have yet to post: Paranoid King, Honey Badger, Shallan, phattemer, polkinghorndb, Elbereth, Elkanah, dowanx, Zed and Biggoron. Of these ten, Shallan and phatt are habitually AFK and dowanx very rarely posts unless he is addressed specifically / voted against. EDITED FOR JUSTIFICATION
  10. I began as a Traitor Feruchemist last round. Wyrm put in my PM a list of all the actions I could take as a Feruchemist. He did the same for every other role that could take an action. The only role that was not simply roleless was the Hemalurgist, which while important can not take any actions. Therefore - not knowing that Wyrm did this for every player who had a role - they were more likely to go to the original thread with the rules list and see what they could do, only to find out they couldn't do anything. Make sense? EDITED FOR SPELLING ERRORS
  11. For the record I never once accused you of suggesting or encouraging a mayor game. The only thing I stated is that what you are suggesting is extremely dangerous for us, and the only way to prevent it from nipping us in the butt is by ensuring those Hemalurgists are protected, which requires the HI to pass their identities to an Elantrian which also puts that player at risk. For everyone's information, Dow had been watching the original thread for the last game to see which players visited it immediately after receiving their PM from Wyrm. Those five players were as follows: Deathclutch, Elbereth, Wilson, Mailliw and Lopen. If I'm not mistaken, three of those players were the Loyalist Hemalurgists. In fact, based on the vote tally I made majority actually voted that we would kill Lopen and forge Wilson to Voidbringer. How would that have turned out the next day? I wonder. My point is there are players out there who deliberately stake out these things for information, and right there shows how well it can work out. This is why I am not fond of the Hemalurgists claiming to the HI. EDITED TO CORRECT WYRM'S NAME, SENTENCE IN ITALICS WAS ALSO ADDED TO EMPHASIZE HOW SERIOUS I AM ABOUT HOW DANGEROUS THIS IS TO THE VILLAGE
  12. @Kipper: I realize that this may be an unpopular opinion, but it is one I am very adamant on. If there were any other way for us to defend against him turning besides having this become a mayor game I would agree. If we do what you suggest we put the Hemalurgists at risk. If we don't give the traitors any reason to connect a player to the HI then they are going to have to rely on their own information gathering skills themselves, which forces them to interact with other players and potentially get caught. Besides, have you already forgotten about what we learned from Dow last round? If we do what I suggest then whether or not he turns relies entirely on pure chance. I am not trying to "sow dissension." I am trying to refocus us on to a subject that will actually benefit the crew / assist in a long term victory of the village. That being said, I welcome anyone and everyone to tear apart anything I have said thus far and here on out. EDITED FOR JUSTIFICATION AND SPELLING ERRORS
  13. Personally I do not see that as gamethrowing as his alignment changing is an aspect of his role. Is it gamethrowing in Town of Salem when an Amnesiac remembers he's a Consigliere to help the Mafia win when there's a Bodyguard in the graveyard and the village is mostly alive? I personally do not think so. In a perfect world I would agree with you 100%. But this is not a perfect world. Though an HI remaining loyal to the crew is certainly honorable, the very foundation of elimination games is deceit. I'm not saying that we should condemn the HI. It's not like we even could if we wanted to. I'm saying there is no benefit to the Hemalurgists contacting the HI. Do you know how easy it would be to sit on the main page of this website during a night turn and continuously refresh the member list, watching for any player who enters a personal conversation around the same time that Deathclutch leaves them, and vice versa? Chances are an eliminator will do just this and take notes, targeting whoever has the most consistent pattern. Then bam, we're that much closer to losing him to their side, whether or not he betrayed us. If someone can give me a good reason why a countdown would help us, please do. But I fail to see the point. It doesn't matter if he's good or if he's evil. Deathclutch is untouchable. All he is good for is a vote and scanning roles, which isn't a unique ability anymore nor one that is particularly useful to the crew. Even if we know he is evil it's not like we can kill him for it. If we want we can turn this into a mayor game and have all the useful roles contact him so he can tell the Elantrians who to protect, the Kandra who to scan, the Forgers who to forge and the Mistborn who to kill. But who here really wants that? Who thinks that would be fun, let alone fair? Unless we do this, I don't see him being confirmed as useful to us in any way other than he's one less loyalist for us to suspect / analyze / accidently lynch. EDITED IN ONE LAST SENTENCE
  14. Everything I've said up until this point has either been clarifications on the rules and the potential implications as well as advice to remain vigilant. I am by no means telling people that they should never trust anybody. I've only said to be wary of anyone who approaches us to gain trust and extort information, as well as to keep our roles a secret in order to prevent a critical leak. Very few players have any need to know another persons role. It would only benefit the crew if the pair includes a Loyalist Elantrian and a Loyalist Hemalurgist, Kandra, Forger or Mistborn. The fact of the matter is there is far too much risk involved in establishing these links other than through natural play. If critical players attempt to use the HI to link them up in secret they are at risk of a betrayal. If they begin to drop hints in PMs with players that they think they can trust and they end up wrong then they are at risk of being assassinated. If they announce their role in thread with hopes of a friendly Elantrian coming to their rescue, there's no guarantee that the Elantrians are active enough to help. I have seen enough situations were a helpful role is afk for a majority of a game. I've said at least once, as you can read at the end of my second to last post to trust no one unless you have a good reason to. You just said it yourself, the traitors know who their teammates are. Everyone else is up for grabs to be manipulated by them and they are not going to sit back and do nothing. It is up to each individual player to make judgment calls on who they let get close to them and who they don't, as it is up to us to determine who the liars and the schemers are. Never trusting anyone doesn't make it easier for them to pick us off one by one. Unless they hit a Voidbringer or someone being protected by an Elantrian they are going to pick us off one by one regardless. If people trust others too quick and leak the identity of a kandra - for example - to the traitors, we are going to be in a lot more trouble than them just making random kills. Chances are they're going to be targeting the players who talk more often and talk the most sense, as fundamentally the encouragement of caution routes many future attempts the traitors might make to gain control of the game.
  15. The latter was what I meant; that the eliminators would sweep us out early to stagnate discussion, as everyone who were a part of LG15a would have a reason to want us dead, so in killing us suspects wouldn't narrow down that much. Hell, Wyrm could have just decided to make the 7 players who weren't a part of LG15a but joined this round the traitors just for this reason and the lols. Point is I expect us to be murdered because really it's the next best option after fear kills for keeping us off their track; even better, in fact, unless a traitor or two from last game ended up one again. Let's do a little math quick. Assuming that there are 2 Mistborn and that they both, plus the traitors, make a kill every night, that's a possible 4 deaths per cycle (including the lynch). There are a total of 31 players excluding the HI. The chances of an Elantrian blindly healing a Hemalurgist is 3/31 while the traitors have about a 3/26 chance of hitting a Hemalurgist. Plus the 3/31 chance that a Mistborn will hit one for each. As more people die, the resulting percentages will only increase, with more possibilities of deaths than saves. The HI could turn as soon as next turn and as late as the last, but probability says it'll be on or in between Cycles 4 and 7. The chances of us lasting 10 cycles without the HI turning is so low that if I were him, I would just go ahead and accept my fate of turning now. This is why I think it's better that he just discover who the Hemalurgists are using his own ability rather than having them serve their lives on a silver platter now. If a Loyalist Kandra, however, manages to find a Loyalist Elantrian and a Loyalist Hemalurgist, feel free to exchange their info with one another. I do not believe the net gain in giving the HI this information is greater than the net loss. I hope this makes sense. EDITED ALL THE ERRORS OUT, I THINK
  16. @queensteph: No problem, that's what I'm here for. Will try to be as helpful as I can be so long as I'm alive. Though I expect to be murdered very soon. Would not put it past the current traitors to start killing off the ones from last round, especially Alvron / Kipper / Stink / me as revenge for ending it so soon. Also, something else to keep in mind. Kandra were made to be able to scan both alignment and role this game. While Kandra were basically roleless for the traitors last game, this time they actually have a purpose: to find loyal players who are dangerous to them. I would not put it past Wyrm to give them one now that he made them useful. I also would not put it past him to still not give them one regardless of the changes so that we might suspect them to have one, and thus not even trust the good ones. In summary, trust no one unless you have a very good reason too.
  17. So here's what I think, given the changes in the rules. Nothing against Deathclutch, but I do not think that he should be trusted with the identities of the Hemalurgists. Without the ability to permanently forge replacements, it is far more likely this game than the last that he will turn. I didn't agree it was a guarantee then, but unless fate works very much in our favor this game, I'm convinced it is inevitable. He could easily lie to us by saying there's more than there actually are, and over the course of 12 cycles or so direct the traitors hit all but one to make it look like random luck while feeding them all the information he has, guaranteeing his change over and their end victory even if his win condition remains on our side for most of the game. I'm not saying he would do it, but what do we really gain by having a count down, which only he would know is accurate or not? The fact of the matter is it doesn't help us. Once the HI turns we can't do anything about him. He's immune to death and all actions. He is part of the game, good or bad. We need to focus on other aspects of the game. @Everyone: No matter what your role is, I think an overall good strategy for this game is to keep it an absolute secret from anyone. Do not reveal it until the HI or Kandra approach you via PM with an accurate deduction. And just because a player approaches you in PM claiming to be a Kandra who scanned you good, it could easily be a traitor - who knows everyone's alignments - just trying to get you to trust them and give your role up. If someone PMs you saying they're the Kandra and you're good, tell them to scan your role themselves and message you the next night. Whether or not they get it right, deny it. If they are a Kandra they will know the truth anyway. If they are a traitor they will think they just guessed wrong and will probably act very erratically after that. Hopefully me just mentioning this will keep them from even attempting it, but still. Be wary. Trust no one until you have a legitimate reason to. Also, @Kandra, I should have to say this but just in case, make sure you test a player's alignments before their role. Never reveal yourself to a player before you know they are good for sure. If you end up finding a Loyalist Elantrian, tell him both at once and ask him to protect you. At the very least it'll buy you an extra cycle to weed out the traitors. I would also recommend using a Loyalist Crewmember as an intermediary, that way if you find a traitor you can announce it to the crew without implicating yourself. One more thing. I believe it was Lopen who referenced the numbers and alignments of LG15a's Hemalurgists. What I want to point out is that this game is not the last one. If you try to use knowledge of LG15a to determine role/alignment distribution this one, you are doomed for failure. If you think any GM, especially Wyrm, isn't going to use that thought process against us by changing things up completely, you're wrong. Until we have evidence in this game that suggests anything like that, don't assume. I'm sure you've all heard the saying of what assuming makes out of u and me. That is all, for now.
  18. Alright so, since we've already gone through the whole what-do-we-do-about-the-HI discussion, I don't see much point in bringing it up again. However thereis something that I wanted to say last round that I never got to because we decided to end the game too early. Without further ado, @Uninvested Crewmembers. Do not tell anyone (or even imply) that you have no role. If the traitors catch wind of what players don't have roles they will not attack them, making our more useful roles like the life saving Elantrian or alignment scanning Kandra more susceptible to being attacked. It might sound harsh but it is much more beneficial for the loyalists in the long term if the Uninvested die in a player with an ability's stead, ESPECIALLY after Wyrm changed Forges to be only temporary. I have work in 7 hours so I am heading to bed, but I just wanted to say that before anyone got any crazy ideas. Thank you and have a good night. EDITED FOR JUSTIFICATION, CAUSE OCD
  19. Add Myself / Stink / Kipper to the LG list to run our game Seeking Mourning, please and thank you.
  20. 1. Copper: While I am open to other ideas in regards to copper, my interpretation is this. Since a player can't necessarily copy and paste a PM into the thread or into another PM, they could store it away, that way - in the event a player with an aluminumind gets ahold of it - they can effectively get added into the PM, revealing everything that was said between those two players. If a player were to store a PM in there that would probably mean that they think there was something suspicious about it or that other person in it blatantly lied, but he can't be called out because they're now dead. So it could be used long after their death to incriminate someone else. 2. Likely that would just be a matter of number adjustment, which isn't necessarily my specialty. If a more percentage savvy game creator is out there and would take a look at it and any of the other "dice rolls" to ensure balance, I would appreciate it.
  21. LG: Seeking Mourning Note: Premise based off the summary of the upcoming Era 2 Mistborn book, Bands of Mourning The Bands of Mourning are the mythical metalminds of the Lord Ruler, said to grant anyone who wears them the powers that the Lord Ruler had at his command. Hardly anyone thinks they really exist. But now a Terris researcher has returned to the Fifth Octant with images that seem to depict the Bands, as well as writings in a language that nobody seems to recognize. With them, he has managed to convince the Synod to organize an expeditionary force of Terris volunteers and send them to the far south, where he has reasoned the Bands are hiding through what few translations he has managed to uncover. And so the word spread across the Terris communities, inviting any of their kin who wish to embark on this momentous journey. If only the Synod realized that the Set - whose plans centered on obtaining the Bands - had a few of their kind working for them. Overview In order to add 1 Charge to a metalmind, you must fill it for an entire turn. Typically filling will have a negative effect on your player. With the exception of bronze you must inform the GMs which of your metalminds you wish to fill next turn before the end of the current one. Tapping a metalmind that grants a passive ability must also be designated the turn prior to use. Active abilities can be activated at any time, unless specifically designated for a turn. Below is a list of every metalmind and what happens when you fill or tap it: Metalminds: Random Important Notes So, that’s everything I’ve got off the top of my head for now. Opinions, people? If this receives enough interest I’ll begin working on greater specifics of it (map, metalminds began with, hidden metalminds, hints, etc).
  22. Just saying, but with 32 players, that means we could be dealing with a total of 8 traitors. Does that scare anyone else, or is it just me? EDIT: Also, @Wyrm, in regards to the changes to the Forger role. Did this have anything to do with my plan to forge every player we targeted to Voidbringer the same night we attack them to effectively remove any other role from getting forged? And when I said the bit about if we managed to get a second Feruchemist on our team, our total votes would have increased by two while rendering two good votes worthless? Or did this stem from other issues?
  23. So, in the evil doc for LG15a, Stink and I were discussing petitioning for more SE. I realize that in the early beginnings of this forum, the list of willing GMs and number of reoccurring players was significantly smaller than it is now. As it stands, we never have more than two games going on at a time; Long Games going back to back along with alternating MRs and QFs, if I understand it correctly. What I'm proposing is this: if there is enough support for it, we could have all three game types occurring simultaneously. Essentially I just want to hear other player's opinions on this. While I am aware that many people may not be able to handle three at once, some players like Stink and myself are crazy enough to want to try. Especially with the seemingly constant stream of new players lately, it would offer them more opportunities to participate / assimilate themselves into the community. So yeah. Yays? Nays? I would like to specifically hear from the moderators, as I think it'd essentially be their decision whether or not a shift in their scheduling could work.
  24. In all the Cosmere, First of the Dawn was a rarity. Her parents were what the Eelakins referred to as the Ones Above, though the residents of other worlds might know them as Terris people. They had been sent on a mission to the Islands while her mother was pregnant, and instantly they fell in love with the vibrant environment and culture of the world. When she was born they chose to use the world’s traditional naming conventions, much to her disdain. Often she was ridiculed for it by her fellow Terrisboys and Terrisgirls, making her heart bitter, but her skin tough. She became a hateful person. Especially of her kin, and by extension, all Scadrians. Who could really blame her for joining the Traitors, when offered the opportunity? Wurum Heron was not only a Scadrian, but a noble too. The kind that used to enslave her ancestors. Not that she cared about them, but she would use any excuse she could to justify killing one of them. Having accepted her fate of being friendless forever, First had found herself some duraluminminds at a young age and never stopped filling them… until today. Behind her walked Wynde Wilson, utterly enthralled. Earlier she approached her while tapping all of the spiritual connection she had, making them instant best friends. So long as she continued to tap them Wynde would follow First’s every command. The plan was simple: use her to aid in their coup against the Captain and execute the rest of the loyal Scadrians, then guilt her into taking her own life for having Scadrian blood in her, too. As for what would happen to the rest of the crew, First didn’t care. That was up to the others. First checked her watch. She was cutting the meeting time close so she hastened her pace. “Hurry!” she yelled to Wynde, not bothering to look back. A short jog later, the two women turned a corner and found a couple of the traitors waiting outside the morgue. Jack and Officer Mordero, to be specific. A second later and the door swung open, Winnie the Pooh standing on the other side. Excited - and perhaps a tad bit psychotic - he welcomed them in.
