Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Was wondering if/when someone was going to ask this. It didn't sit right that no one had yet. Orlok was my biggest suspicion, followed by you. Him claiming to have Invisibility and your comment last cycle about me saying High Epic made me reconsider my opinions. Around the same time, Kynedath had made a post where he indirectly defended Orlok while also prodding for his role. Like with me thinking SD was phishing for information, I also had the same thought about him. So really it was just a not very well thought out decision. But my other options at the time were the two Telepaths I knew, one of which was SD, who I already explained I didn't want to kill because this was his first game in a long time. When debating between Kynedath and the other Telepath, I decided to check to see if they were both playing in LG16 too. Since Kynedath was and the Telepath was not, I decided to kill him this game as the LG is just about to start and that seemed more fair. Reason I made a kill at all was so that I could claim my target in PM to said Telepath in order to support my claim of being a kill role. I agree. I already discussed this with said Telepath because personally I believe in a game with limited PMs that the eliminators are more likely to have the relevant role than not.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well, I'm glad I don't have to worry about me being lynched by my teammates now. Too bad it happened the same time I killed our Forcefield Projector :[. It's possible the other MD is a Reckoner, but personally I doubt it. Like I said before, I don't think they would have held back from killing anybody the first cycle. Plus, I have a theory about who it might be, and if it's true than that's point in their favor. I'm considering asking one of my Telepaths to contact them for me to find out, but I'm honestly suspicious of both of them and don't think it's wise for me to risk the other MDs life by involving a potentially fallible third party into the mix. Going along with that theory, I suggest that the Reckoners either have multiple members with Accelerated Healing or at the very least one Forcefield Projector. Two village kill roles with them having some sort of protective buffer makes the most sense to me. So in other words we need to be very wary of WGGs. I believe Orlok's claim of having Accelerated Healing, since there was no indication that his life was in danger C1 so it wouldn't make sense for someone else to protect him. I am more cautious about who the surviving player this cycle was, as of the three attacked the situation seems most likely. Also, sorry about the AG2 comment. I figured that one was okay because it happened at the very beginning of Day 2, and that everyone has access to that information / it was kind of a big thing. Oh, and Kipper. I'm assuming the two Telepaths that are in contact with you are the same in contact with me. At least I know one is since I asked who they messaged besides me. I'll go ahead and get confirmation from the other now, because if not that means we can get all three to help with the information flow.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Sorry, Kyn. That one was me. Needless to say, I am not amused that I am responsible for killing the player I was looking for. Three kill attempts and not a single one suggests matter disruption. I also informed a player I'm in a PM with who I was attacking as soon as the cycle ended so that they can confirm it, if need be. Still think your theory about the flavor text last cycle is true, Clanky? Based on flavor text alone, I would suggest the third player who was attacked was the Reckoner's target. Only reasons I would think that the Reckoners would go after SD is either to try and implicate me or because he PM'd a Reckoner, revealing his ability. Now I wish I asked the first Telepath that contacted me (who was contacted by SD) to ask him who else he began PMs with. Right now I am interested to see who was attacked. Also interested in reading Orlok's results from the last two cycles. Still haven't heard what he got back C1.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Bit sad that you're tunneling on me, Clanky. And if I read Phatt's statement right, it says the flavor text will probably give it away. Flavor text can refer to more things than just how the kill was made. That being said, using bombs still makes no sense for a Matter Disruptor. Plus, a massive explosion versus a quiet kill in the night? That sounds like something the Reckoners would do. It's flashy and attention grabby, and has more room for them fitting in my weakness (my kill was just a knife thrown through a window, and clearly not very premeditated, as if I were a Reckoner attacking an Epic I would probably do something more than that to make sure he actually died). I ask that everyone look at Orlok, Clanky and Steph closely after it's revealed I'm an Epic. Of the three I am most suspicious of Steph, who has had my attention since C1. I'd explain why, but it's mostly just gut. Also. Orlok. Mailliw.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Fair enough. You're still wrong about which kill attempt is mine and which is the Reckoners, though. Consider that I would have not claimed which kill was mine if it would cast unnecessary suspicion onto me, thus effectively hurting my team. Probably wouldn't have even outed myself in thread if I was a Reckoner in the first place, and instead would have told the player who PM'd me last cycle, to keep people from lynching me, or simply just kept it a secret for longer. To echo a previous clarification from Phatt, if the lynch is tied Perseus will kill one of them at random. Two for me. Just so you know, you were the player I planned on killing yesterday before choosing Orlok, but decided to give you a few cycles leeway since this is your first game in a long time I can't tell you all of my reasons, but one of them is posts like these, where it seems to me you're trying to phish for information.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Just in case people missed it, his post was finally accepted by the Mods. I did try to kill him last cycle because I was suspicious of him last cycle. I still am, but I don't see the point in attacking the same player two cycles in a row. Plus I have a lot more information this cycle and other leads to pursue based on recent posts. One such thing is that I now know the identities of three Telepaths. Just so you know, Clanky, I had intended on killing you this cycle to see if you were defending the players who got Anamax lynched because one of them was your teammate until your post where you brought up the High Epic thing. Pretty sure you wouldn't have that train of thought if you were a Reckoner, so at least you got that going for you. That being said, you're making a pretty big mistake by voting for me, doing the Reckoner's job for them. No worries. I'll whip up a vote tally for you now. (2) Mailliw: PK, Kipper (1) Steph: Kamyle (2) Orlok: Steph, Adavantos (1) BB: Elkanah (1) HS: Kynedath (2) Adavantos: Orlok, Clanky (1) Elkanah: Araris I see where you're coming from, but the write up clearly states that person who tried to kill me had placed explosives on my house. That doesn't seem like Matter Disruption to me either. That and the tone of the attempt on my life. Let me quote it real quick. Emphasis mine. In my opinion those specific details make me believe that this kill attempt is the Reckoners. That and the fact that the white chalk was used in the other. Anyway, not doing what they're supposed to and seeming to have more of a purpose is much more telling then how the kill was made, to me. That, and maybe it's because it didn't make sense for someone to survive from an attack with antimatter. If I understand it correctly, when antimatter collides with matter, the matter simply ceases to exist. If I were to attack someone with antimatter, how could they heal from that? Also, do I have to explain this thing about the kill hint again? That'd make it three times today.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yes, that is what I am saying, because that was my original intent. Though it was less about trying to ensure your protection and more about trying to ensure mine. Let's say you're good. Village Matter Disruptor (me) admits to everyone that he tried to kill you and votes for you. The Reckoners look at this and say "oh, cool, Orlok isn't one of us, so let's just let the MD keep tunneling on him and go after someone else." At the same time the Forcefield Projector looks at this and thinks "oh, cool, we've got an Epic Matter Disruptor who survived an attempt on his life at the hands of the Reckoners due to Accelerated Healing. I should totally protect him." Both plans are ruined by your claiming to have an important role, especially Invisibility, because now the Reckoners have a good reason to attack you and the Forcefield Projector has a good reason to protect you. My main problem with this situation is that I want to live, but an Epic with Invisibility is much more important than Matter Disruptor, in my opinion, and is more worthy of keeping safe. Does it affect my opinion of you being evil? No, not really. But I would rather give you a chance to prove it and potentially unveil a Reckoner, just in case I'm wrong. I had a really good idea just now, but then I checked the rules to clarify and Invisibility doesn't work the same way Lookout does. Sadface. Anyway, as for that bit about manipulation, I do that all the time, good or evil. Remember the big hooplah I caused in AG2 where I tried to trick Alvron into thinking I was a Seeker when I was only a proxy for one?- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
If I recall correctly, that was from a comment I made in my PM with DeathClutch, early enough in the game that I was still trying to make it look like I wasn't a Cook. Though I will say that I think Rae's wording is off, or at least casts my point that game in the wrong light. There were a total of four attacks that cycle if I recall correctly; one Diagrammist and three Cook. My point? It happens. Best way would be to kill him, but I no longer think that's the wise choice right now, assuming he's telling the truth / not a Reckoner. A role like his is extremely useful. Having him reveal his results afterwards is the only way to maybe prove it. It's possible he could be a lying Reckoner who has a friend to substantiate his claims, but that would put two of them at risk so if that's how he wants to handle this I don't mind at all. I think it's best if he does this as soon as he can every cycle so that we can discuss the results. Unfortunately I would have preferred it if he never said he had an important role to begin with. If he is actually an Epic, my intent was to protect him from the Reckoner kill by making it look like I really wanted him dead without actually sealing the deal. If he's not evil, now they have a legitimate reason to go after both him and me, which makes the Forcefield Projectors job harder and puts us both at risk, assuming there's not two, or that if there are they don't protect the same person, who also happens to be the one the Reckoners don't attack.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
There are only 18 players. I'm guessing that 4 of them are Reckoners, possibly 5. Giving them 2 kills effectively halves the length of this game, which will already end up relatively short due to numbers and has the potential to get even shorter due to the inactivity filter. I have no prior knowledge of Phatt's GMing tendencies, but it just makes most sense to me that they don't have one. That and there were only two kills last night, one of which I know was mine. Given the fact that I was an eliminator kill role in MR10, I have personally thought through the "should I hold back killing anyone for the long con or kill as often as I can" debate. In my opinion the second option is best for victory, and therefore I expect another player would have been attacked if they had one. That was flavor text. In Steelheart, David explains that a High Epic is one who has a power that protects them from death. I said I was confident about Orlok, not that I absolutely had to be right. I wasn't saying that I was right about Anamax to substantiate me being right about Orlok. I let everyone know that I am open to suggestions and will alter my opinions according to evidence and theories presented by others. I am only human and honestly more prone to making mistakes than most. The success of that ploy was purely because of how hard it was to gain information about the dead and because of our team's protective roles. Main reason I'm doing it again is because I make a point to do things twice, once on the eliminator team, another on the village, so that people can't use it as evidence against me. An example of this is that I roleclaimed to Stink C1 in MR10 and AG2. I understand and respect your opinion. I just don't share it. I doubt there is another kill role out there, and didn't like Anamax being up for the lynch. So I decided to attack a player who I actually thought was evil. Whether I was right or wrong about you, it would have amplified discussion this cycle by giving us all something more to talk about. Similar concept to what Wyrm did by claiming Tin Eye N1 in AG2. I understand this too. I'm not trying to blame you for that. I just think it's odd you never retracted your vote, when it was initially placed for something another player explained was not true. I have considered it. Hasn't swayed me either way since it's an effective way to defend yourself on either side. Once again, I've been wrong before and could be wrong now. I can't pursue my suspicions halfheartedly. I am expressing overconfidence to instigate discussion, both from you and others. Same idea as adding pressure on players with poke votes, only with more substance. You're half right. It was an attempt to draw protection away from you, but not so I can kill you. Reckoners have already attacked me once. They might do it again, especially since they now know I'm a kill role. I didn't want anyone with Forcefield Projection having to debate between us.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
For reference, this was my attempt on Orlok. I asked Phatt to leave the hint "white powdered chalk" (like gymnasts use) in all my relevant write ups, hoping that it might make the Reckoners think Rae was the Matter Disruptor and thus indirectly keep me from being attacked by them. Unfortunately they decided to gun for me first, most likely because of my perceived "threat level," though it's possible it's because I challenged a player on their team, or just generally did something yesterday that spelled trouble for them. Since it doesn't seem like I already acknowledged your explanation for your play style change, I'll go ahead and do so now. I get where you are coming from. I intentionally shift my play style game to game to keep people guessing, particularly so that when I'm evil it will be harder for people to find me out. However said explanation does not affect my opinion of you at all. In fact, the only thing that suggests to me that you are not evil is because of the fact that the Reckoners attacked me. If you were one of them, I feel that you would have kept them from attacking me to prevent people from looking at you closely afterwards. I have not ruled out the opposite being true, as I can see why eliminators might consider it worth the gamble. Alright. Here we go. OrlokTsubodai, Posted 16 January 2016 @ 01:22 AM Orlok's first post, where he follows up Lopen's post advocating that Matter Disruptor(s) hold off from killing anybody this early. Reason I find this suspicious is mostly because of my opinion on the matter. Being one, I decided it was better for me to not waste the cycle. I expected that I would be attacked sooner rather than later and that I should use my only active ability now while I still had the chance. All roles, kill oriented or otherwise, are meant to be used, and personally I think they are very important for progressing the game. Besides lynching it is the only way we can remove the eliminators before they remove us, and unlike the lynch it can't be manipulated by them. Personally I think either Lopen or Orlok (unlikely both, possibly neither) are asking the MD(s) to not use their power too soon to combat this. Every cycle that an MD does not use their power is a cycle that they get to stay alive. OrlokTsubodai, Posted 16 January 2016 @ 01:55 AM Response to Kipper's reply to Orlok's vote on Venture. OrlokTsubodai, Posted 16 January 2016 @ 04:53 PM Response to my vote on him. As Kynedath already pointed out, eliminators will usually not begin lynches. However, as we learned from the Shallan Debacle of LG15b, it is not always the case. I am inclined to believe this is a similar situation. I probably wouldn't think much of it if the victim were anyone else, but it was Anamax. Because of his playstyle he is an easy target for an eliminator to instigate a bandwagon on with an early vote without having to worry about being scrutinized too much and maybe even defended by wayward Epics (like Kyn, assuming he isn't a Reckoner himself. Allow me to refer to the last post I made yesterday where I expressed my opinion of the lynch train on Anamax. Emphasis mine. Orlok's reason for voting for Anamax were A: Because he started the game off with a vote, which he expressed as suspicious because he believed it was atypical of him and B: Because he wanted to encourage him to participate more by pressuring him with death. For Point A I find this suspicious because Orlok voted for Anamax for the exact same reason I voted for him (playing "differently") only in Anamax's case he wasn't playing differenty at all, as Kipper explained shortly after Orlok's vote. Point B only came up much later, as if he made it up for the sole purpose of justifying him not removing his vote. In my opinion this also contradicts the very first statement Orlok made about MDs. He asks that they don't use their ability without strong suspicions and proceeds to vote for a player without any justifiable reason for why he might be evil. He had plenty of opportunity to retract his vote after being challenged but never did. I also find it suspicious that he disappeared at the stage in the cycle where where Anamax accrued enough votes to die. It's very likely he was just asleep or busy, but it's also possible that he was watching the thread through emails and decided to stay off site so that he didn't have to get involved. Also, I just want to say that I don't consider myself to be tunneling. I am conscious of the fact that I could be wrong and have stated so. I just am pursuing my biggest suspicion. Your claim of having a "fairly useful role" is also a red flag for me. I can't remember who it was (I think Hellscythe) but he pointed out a shift in Creccio's playstyle in MR10 where he was noticeably concerned with death and reasoned he was either an important role or a Diagrammist. Personally I think you're just a Reckoner trying to avoid death. You won't need the protection, though. Unless you get lynched or get attacked by the Reckoners (which I doubt will happen), you're not going to die. I'm not going to use my power on you again. I have a couple other leads to pursue first.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Rae, I will respond to your last RP post soon. I am currently not in the right mindset, thanks to the copious amount of refreshments I had last night. I too will admit that I was attacked, and will inform you all that it was done by the Reckoners. How do I know that? Well, it's because I attacked Orlok. I am a Matter Disruptor with Accelerated Healing. Unfortunately that means that my protection is now null, and I would very much appreciate it if someone who can project Forcefields would protect me tonight. Before anyone asks, I decided to "disobey the group" and attack Orlok because I personally did not believe Anamax was evil and was very suspicious of anyone who voted for him. Among them was Orlok, whom I already was suspicious of for other reasons, so I decided it would be better to ensure someone that I personally felt was evil died. Yes, I realize that me claiming this openly is the exact same thing I did in MR10, but I promise I am not a Reckoner. I am confident that they were not given an additional kill role this game, as otherwise I am pretty certain another player would have been attacked last night, since this is a QF. In regards to this game, guessing ability distribution is more complicated than others, so I won't be pulling the "this role has to be evil" thing this time. However, knowing that I am innocent and a High Epic, it makes me considerably more wary of my target as apparently he is as well. For that reason... Orlok. I'm sorry mate, but since C1 you're my best lead and knowing that this is a QF I don't think I can afford to play cautiously. This being said, I am open to taking suggestions for my kills. Note that I say suggestions, because while I am a Democrat I will not hesitate to decide who I kill on my own if the overall decision if the village contradicts my own personal opinion. I realize that saying that is very suspicious, but I don't think it's worth sugar coating. I was right about Venture and I am confident that I am right about Orlok. If someone makes a good enough point about another player then I will reconsider my target but please keep in mind that I will likely go for what I believe is accurate first.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Wow, that was a good one. Verrrrry mature. I'd ask you how old you are, but I already know you can't count that high. Okay, so, here's what I don't understand. I want Venture/Anamax to become more active as much as the next guy. But obviously putting him up for the lynch hasn't had much of an impact on him in any of these games so far, and I don't think killing him early every game is really going to encourage him to interact with us more. Plus, if it turns out he is a Reckoner, does killing him really benefit us much? While I'm aware there's a chance he could have a really useful ability for his team which might make it ideal that we do, I personally think that there are better targets for us to take out first. Instead of us tunneling on a player whose impact on the course of these games is minimal due to frequent inactivity, I honestly believe that players like myself who are active enough to sway votes and manipulate players should be pursued before players like him, especially when there's no real evidence against him. Does that make sense, or am I speaking tongues? Disclaimer: I am not defending Venture. I have no reason to believe he's good or evil, currently. I just feel that he's a poor choice for a C1 lynch, where as other players have actually done things that are atypical of them or can be considered suspicious. Bout to go out for some refreshments again. As a result, this will likely be my last post this cycle. Will probably be online to respond to whatever happens around the same time I put up my first post today.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Kipper and Orlok are Reckoners. Confirmed. Is that all you've got? Krippe, please. Your doctor just called with the results of your colonoscopy and asked me to pass on the good news. They finally found where your head has been hiding. On a serious note, how about you? What players are you most suspicious of as of right now? It's never too early to form suspicions, just too early to substantiate them. Don't worry though. I understand where you're coming from and I mostly agree. As for Elbereth, I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt right now, since she's claimed to be playing the game the same way her character would. I could see her making a comment like that regardless of what her alignment was, and thus don't think much of it. I do hope she'll find a way to say the things she wants to, though. EDIT: I see you, Silver Dragon. I agree with Ripple that your vote seems off. Do you have an explanation for why you chose Rae to "provoke discussion" and not someone else? Also who are you most suspicious of so far?- 366 replies

Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Fair enough. I expected you to use this being a QF as an explanation whether you are good or evil. Second reason is more interesting. Will have to see if you follow through with that mindset in other games. While trying to encourage Anamax to contribute more is noble, I'm curious who, then, you are actually suspicious of. Mind sharing? Also, I've seen Clanky and Kynedath view this thread recently. What about you guys? Any feels / reads on anyone so far?- 366 replies

This is why I'm a fan of inactivity filters; keeps us from spending time discussing lynching inactives. That said, Ripple, who are you most suspicious of so far? Personally Orlok, PK, BB and Araris are standing out the most to me. Mostly Orlok because his near instantaneous vote on Anamax contradicts a statement he made during AG2, I believe, where he said he's been sitting back during the beginning of these games lately to keep himself from tunneling on people who almost always turn out to be good. This switch up suggests to me that he's an eliminator this round, and thus is unconcerned with the results of his actions. Also, Kipper is definitely an eliminator. Just saying.- 366 replies

Quick Fix Game 12: The Time of Reckoning
Amanuensis replied to phattemer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Michael "Azrael" Durbin, Angel of Death, wore white on the day he was to kill an Epic. To be fair, the self-proclaimed Envoy of the End wore white almost every day. Not only did it fit his theme, but it also helped strike fear into the hearts of his enemies. After all, there were few things as ominous as a man approaching in a pristine suit, blood splattered across his face and dripping from his fingertips yet never staining his garb, slaughtering everyone and anyone who dared to get between him and his next target. Today his target just happened to be a woman named Renee. For hours now he had been hovering among the clouds, watching her with his magnified gaze as she performed a variety of unnecessarily flashy - albeit impressive - flips and tricks across several balconies and rooftops, as if she were putting on a show. The arrogance of it would have sickened him once, though after his Ascent it was hard for him not to appreciate hubris like hers. To scorn her for expressing a quality of character so reminiscent of his own would be hypocritical. Azrael was many terrible things, but a hypocrite... no. Never. His original intent was to observe her long enough to ascertain a weakness, though he was growing more impatient with every passing second. With a sigh, he started to descend just as the young boy appeared to deliver a message. He dove headfirst towards the earth with reckless abandon, unconcerned knowing that his body was impervious to damage. Even at max speed it would take several minutes to touch land. By the time he did, the child had already departed and Renee had begun another circuit. He hit the rooftop with a crash, divine luminescence exploding from his form upon impact, bright enough to temporarily blind anyone who watched him fall. It was a side effect of the barrier that veiled his figure, invisible when undisturbed but shimmering when affected by external stigma. For reasons he could barely fathom, this energy absorbed all the force of his landing, leaving the roof's surface unscathed. Too focused on her routine, Renee barely seemed to notice. "Lo, Woman," Azrael called as he rose from his knee, his multi-toned voice projected loud enough to snag her attention. She seemed to stare at something behind him, reminding him of the pair of ethereal wings that stretched from his spine. Nodding, he willed them to fold inwards, fading through his clothes and sinking into his skin. "Pardon my interruption, but I've come to kill you, you see. I do hope you don't mind; not that you really have any say in the matter." Sorry for the delay in my posting. Just finished our semi annual inspection last night, and needless to say we all went out to celebrate with a few refreshments. So first off, a vote / vote tally. (3) Lopen: Anamaximder, Steph, Adavantos (2) Anamaximder: Orlok, BB (2) Adavantos: Araris, Arraenae (2) Arraenae: Hellscythe, Silver Dragon (1) Elkanah: Elbereth Obviously I don't like my being up for the lynch so early, and would rather keep Rae alive for now so that my character can kill her himself. I am more suspicious of Orlok and BB than I am of Anamax and Steph (which is purely based on gut before anyone asks) so I'd rather not vote alongside them. Don't really believe Lopen is evil, but given it's the first cycle I don't really have much to go on yet. Ooh. 500th post. Retracted vote.- 366 replies

Hate to necro this thread, but I just read it for the first time and figured that I should offer a few supplemental explanations for what could be occurring here. Explanation Uno: Drehy is a Kandra who took the bones of a eunuch Terrisman who died at some point during the Era 1 novels to Roshar. It seems no one mentioned this possibility, which would explain why a Terrisman with eunuch proportions is still alive. I don't believe this is the actual case, however, simply because of the aforementioned scene where Drehy asked Rock to shave his head bald, which is keeping in with the Era 1 Terrisman traditions. To me that suggests that he is a genuine Terrisman, though I suppose it could be an old kandra playing the part obsessively well, which they are prone to do. Explanation Dos: We know from the Ars Arkanum of Shadows of Self that a specific alloy of ordinary metals and God metals could potentially create new Feruchemical abilities. It's been awhile since I've read the Era 1 novels, but given I've read Era 2 very recently I'm well aware that Atium has long been lost and I'm relatively certain that at the conclusion of HoA the Atium Mistings burnt up all of their resources. That being said, I think it's possible that someone, somewhere had some Atium stowed away. Whether or not that means they had the mind to experiment with it and create a usable alloy that could effectively make them either immortal and/or give them the ability to world hop, I can't really say, but it's a possibility that I don't think should be overlooked. Explanation Tres: Drehy (knowing what we do of Terris naming conventions, does Drehy look Terris to anyone but me? *Cough* Aslydin, Tindwyl, etc) was an acquaintance of Sazed who, for whatever reason, was restored whole (or maybe not) and made immortal to explore the Cosmere. While I think someone has already said they don't believe Harmony would send of an agent of his own off Scadrial due to the fact he's more focused on his own world then others, in my mind that makes me think it's more likely he would send someone away to probe for information. I believe Harmony is smart enough to know that eventually his world is going to get involved in the greater scheme of things, and thus having an agent out there learning anything and everything he can to fill the gaps in his knowledge - especially on a world like Roshar where a rogue Shard bent on killing them all is currently stuck - is both logical and likely. P. S. this is definitely a tangent, but I just realized that in Era 4 I would not be surprised if Fullborn would rely on a cadmiummind filled with breath to traverse space, burning steel to leap from one starship to another to lay siege to their enemies. P. P. S. I didn't realize how much information that I think is critical for theory crafting is missing from the Coppermind until now. That being said. I think I'm going to start investing a lot of my time into fleshing it out.

I don't have much to say given the fact that personally I'm not very invested in the reputation system and therefore have no strong feelings towards keeping it as its always been or making altercations to it, whatever the reasoning for that may be. However I will throw in the only serious thought I have had regarding this subject / situation. I believe this discussion would benefit significantly from the implementation of a community poll to make the final decision. While I believe the admins have the absolute right to exercise their adminship as they see fit, I'm also a fan of democracy. I think one of Kobold's most important points (in my opinion) is the lack of representation from the Roleplayers compared to the Theorizers. So, I would say that giving all members until the end of January to vote on what they believe is best for the reputation system before a real change is introduced would be the most amiable option for us at this point. Just make sure to have an option for the players like me who really don't care what the result is, so long as it is the result that makes the most people happy.
