Hey El, even though I was wrong about Hael being Ryuk, I was able to get both you and Strawman in my list of suspects for Shinigami right before I died. While it's not exactly what I was hoping for, I'm proud of it.

But the rules say The Stick starts out with a minor role, not another meta role. I guess it wasn't every mentioned how many role/meta roles you could have though. *shrugs* To be completely honest, I'm mostly just reading up on the rules as they become relevant. Anyways, assuming that he did move her vote, which was what killed her, these would be my biggest suspects for Hoid, due to these players being online after she voted on Aman, but not being online at rollover: Kynedath, Cloudjumper(currently my biggest suspect for Hoid actually. His timing of going offline, as well as adding his vote on Trelagist to tie the lynch makes me suspicious.), Zephrer, Araris, PK, phattemer, Conquestor, Arraenae(unlikely though, since she originally voted on Aman) and leiftinspace. Joe, her vote was moved off of Aman. I personally suspect that Hoid moved it because Aman is a member of the 17th Shard and Hoid wasn't able to be online at rollover. Of course, that's because I'm suspicious of Aman. Edit: Alv, I was reading the rules as saying that Autonomy can use their Shardic power during the Night only, but can Invest at any time. Well, that's how I'm reading it since El was just converted.

Well, that's too bad. Sorry Trel, it's probably my fault you got lynched. I do feel like that was a much better Day 1 than we've had in a long time, with a good amount of voting happening, and players actually seriously discussing lynching players. I do find it very interesting that Elbereths vote was moved off of Aman and onto Trelagist. Edit: uhhh, ninja'd by sad news. Edit 2: Just realized that El's vote must have been moved by Hoid, which is why she died.

You knew my role? I only ever told Hellscythe and that was about 4 hours before I was killed. I would love to play this again! Nice job El and Strawman! You both did a really good job of keeping players attention off of you. That was a pretty resounding victory, so kudos to you both.

I can understand not wanting to lynch a villager with a Shard, but we're gonna have that risk regardless, so you pointing out that you'd rather sacrifice yourself than lynch a villager with a Shard just seems like a pointless sentiment to voice, since I believe that most villagers would, in a situation where it's either them or an extremely dangerous villager up for the lynch, sacrifice themselves to give their team the best shot at winning by allowing the more helpful role/player to survive(not necessarily the case, because no one wants to die, but I think my point is clear enough). And you mentioning your death in LG14 feels a bit like a play on others sympathy. I was also going to point out that fact about Cloudjumpers post as well. First he says "I'm not that suspicious of Trelagist" but then goes on to say he's the most likely candidate for an evil. Which, is pretty odd. Another thing I thought was odd about his post was that he specified that he, like Mailliw, wasn't suspicious of Aman. It just seemed kind of pointless to add, like he was trying to back up his non-suspicion of Aman by adding a villagers(Mailliw, in this case) perspective alongside his own. But maybe that's reading too much into his post. I'll get back into passing Shards once this Turn has ended.

...that's kinda true. Although if I'm remembering correctly, most of the times I said I was suspicious of you, I was an eliminator, so I knew you weren't evil. Emphasis mine I'm a bit confused at these 2 statements. First, you admittedly have done things that can be "easily interpreted as suspicious," but then you say that you're getting lynched for reasons that don't really make sense? You also say that you don't mind being lynched, as it gives us information to analyze, but since posting that you have posted a lot, trying to save yourself. Which, I'm not saying is a bad thing, because villagers should try and prove themselves rather than letting themselves be lynched. No, I'm saying that you saying "I don't mind being lynched" feels suspicious to me, like you're trying to downplay your desire to survive. Also, when I said you were notoriously hard to kill as an eliminator, I wasn't saying that was reason to not lynch you. That makes no sense. I was saying "he's a very useful villager, which makes me very nervous to try and lynch him, but on the other hand, as an eliminator, he's very tricky to kill, because players tend to trust him because of his lengthy, content filled posts, so if there was an opportunity for me to lynch him when I thought he was evil, I might want to take advantage of that no matter how early it was." That post was about if the votes were as they were when I posted that at the end of the Turn, who I would decide to lynch. I didn't exactly "turn" on you either when I voted on you. I'd already stated some small suspicion of you, just based on gut, so when you posted that about Bard and DC, I decided I'd vote on you, rather than pursuing other suspicions. I thought the Turn was ending an hour earlier than it is, so I was able to go through and get some elaboration done on why I'm suspicious of you! Anyways, I haven't really seen anything from you that I would point to and say "this is the reason I believe he's evil." Which is why I didn't quote any more of your posts. I just feel like your posts are off. Also, in response to ninjas. @Elbereth, Sorry for not chiming in on whether Shards should pass their Shards or not. Honestly, I've been focusing on getting a solid lynch target rather than game mechanics, which is what I generally focus on on Day 1. So, I don't yet have an opinion on what the Shards should do, but I will almost assuredly go through the rules and form an opinion on this, because it does seem to be an important topic that needs to be discussed. Here's my initial thoughts though, I guess. Hoid knows who the Shards are. So, those players will most likely be targets for the 17th Shard. Ah, sorry, just got interrupted. Will continue thoughts once I get back to my computer. Just wanted to note, I feel like Cloudjumpers post was suspicious. Almost like he's trying to save Aman.

Because at the time of that first post, you hadn't posted as much, so I didn't have as much of an eliminator read on you. As I said in the first post you mention, you are a very helpful villager, so at the time, I didn't think the small amount of suspicion I had against you was worth lynching you, in case I was wrong. But my suspicion of you has only grown since then, so that now I feel more confident in my suspicion of you. Edit: I'll try and get a post up about why I'm suspicious of you Aman, but time is running short and I doubt I'll be able to post it in time for it to make any kind of impact on whether we lynch you or not.

I'm still suspicious of Aman and think we should lynch him. He posts this much regardless of alignment people. So if you're thinking "eliminators don't talk so much and encourage discussion like this" and that's the sole reason you think he's village, that's not a good way to go about deciding if he's good or bad. Aman, sorry, but I don't have access to a computer atm, so I can't really go in depth about my suspicion of you. I will say that it's mostly just a gut/tone read though. I don't agree with lynching Bard. If you guys want to save Aman, I'd suggest lynching an inactive(like Trel maybe...). I will hopefully do a full post before this Turn ends, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time.

Those bolded parts seem suspicious to me, as well as the fact that you want a PM with Mark to get his information. I think Aman is now my top suspect. Getting mostly evil vibes from you so far. The Only Joe(don't think I've forgotten about your slight against the Lopen though. ) I do know what theory he's talking about. It's something I've thought about before as well, but not something I would ever think to rely on. Really, you don't usually have to do a ton of analysis(or post huge essays like some people like to do ). But voting is helpful, so if there's a few players up for the lynch, and you agree or disagree with any of them, voicing your opinion on the evidence/accusations on those players as well as placing your vote according to your opinions can be very helpful(and insightful about your alignment). Edit: haha, yep, ninja'd by Joe retracting. I was gonna retract first! Anyways, forgot to say that my current suspects besides Aman are Elodin and Trelagist. I'm also getting a bit suspicious of Joe as well. (Not kidding this time )

Aman is very talkative, so his activeness isn't out of the norm for him. An easy way to see how often a player usually posts during a game is to click on the "[number] replies" thing on the thread. Like, for the "QF15: Death Note" thread, you'd click on the "583 replies" graphic which brings up how many times people have posted in that thread. Joe posted 100 times over the course of that game. Mostly trolling. Anyways, that could help you see what's the norm for some players(assuming they didn't die on the first Cycle, so they weren't able to post very much or something). So out of the players with votes on them, who would you lynch?

Oh right. I knew that this Turn was gonna be short one way or another! I'm also gonna request that Devotion put me in a PM or 2 if they can. My world PM is extremely quiet. I'm probably gonna worldhop somewhere else, but I always enjoy having multiple PM's.

I don't really know why these posts made me less trusting of you. Probably because you agreed with me twice, which could be because you're an eliminator wanting to appear on my side or something. There's also the fact that you said you agreed with me about Trel, but didn't vote on him. Anyways, I still think you're village, I just said I'm less confident about that read now. All of my D1 reads are very weak, so I often change them based off of very slight reasons. I think you're sentence "Agreeing with you again, those seem pretty good numbers" is the thing that made me less trusting. It seems kind of like you just "agreed" with me without really thinking it through for yourself. *shrugs* Mmmhm. I'll stay paranoid though. Are you gonna vote on anyone Mail?

Thanks. I'm probably just upset 'cause my world PM is completely dead. Yeah and I think Elb said something about being busy in the QF. I think. I also understand that a few of those players are currently still alive in the QF, so I understand them making that first priority over this game. I'd still like for them to check in, but if they haven't even read the thread yet, it's no problem. Mailliw, as I said before, I'm leaning town. But that's a very shaky read, and one which I would put no trust in. Aman, well, as a villager, he can be useful, but he's annoyingly difficult to kill when he's an eliminator. I probably wouldn't lynch him if it came down to it. Zephrer, it's just a poke vote. If I had to force a lynch, I guess I'd consider him, because of inactivity, but I'd rather not. Leiftinspace. Eh, not much of a read on them yet. He's posted mostly RP. Probably wouldn't lynch. Was going over the rules, and I think I've changed my mind slightly. I now am leaning more towards the 17th Shard having Hoid plus 3 other members. Mostly because Autonomy isn't really directly working against the village, plus they could convert 17th Shard members, and Odium might kill/convert members of the 17th Shard, so only giving Hoid 2 minions seems underpowered. Not that it really helps us to try and guess how many members they have right now, but that's my thoughts on that subject. To elaborate on the list of inactives Cloudjumper posted a bit ago, each of those players: Elodin, Hael, Zephrer, Elbereth, Burnt, phattemer, Alvron and The Young Bard have been online since roles were sent out. Could you 8 players post something, so we know you're paying attention(or not)? Kynedath hasn't been on, so I'm assuming he's not checked his alignment yet and Araris has now posted. And of course, I'd very much like to hear from Trelagist. Aman, what do you think of Trelagist?

Yeah, as I said, it's mostly gut. I just wanted to elaborate a little more than saying "my gut is suspicious of you." Because that doesn't exactly help anyone. I was actually thinking that the 17th Shard might only have 3 players(Hoid, with 2 minions). Hoid is pretty powerful(and rightly so ), so along with Odium and Autonomy, the village would have a tough time working against 8 players. It's hard to really say right now, but that's my guess.

If you agree, hop on the wagon! It's only me right now. Gotta be the Death Star, right? Because it can only destroy one world at a time. Although there's 2 things that would make me say Starkiller base, the first being the one Cycle charge period, because the Death Star didn't need to charge, and the second being that the Death Star needed to be close to its target, whereas Starkiller base seemed more long distance(and Ruin can destroy any planet, no matter where he is). So, it's somewhat of a mixture of the two.

I'm actually quite suspicious of Trelagist. First off, he was seemingly very excited to get his role PM, but then, once he got it, he never did post again(still hasn't). I'm sure he saw it, since he was last online about 4 hours after the role PM's were sent out. Plus, he's in Sel too, and I sent a fairly lengthy PM to the players there, and he viewed it, but didn't respond. Now, I don't want to make the same mistake that I made with LUNA in LG17, where I was suspicious of her for not responding to my PM with her, but I just feel like he's being very quiet for the amount of enthusiasm he was showing right before he learned what team he was on/what power he got(if any). I'm also slightly suspicious of Aman. I'd say it's mostly gut, but his vote and then retraction on me, plus him saying he agreed with me about lynches kinda made me wary of him. Not sure why. It just kinda felt like he was trying to get on my good side somehow(which he's done before(I'm thinking of MR11 :/ )). I'm reading Sheep as village. Also, Mailliw a little bit(really, only a tiny tiny bit ).

I've found that lately, the lynch has been decided very late in the Day, which limits other players reactions and defenses if they don't even know that they are gonna get lynched, so by stating that I'm gonna force a lynch, players should realize that having a vote on them puts them in danger, and that will hopefully make them more likely to speak up, and even vote to try and keep themselves from dying. Yep. Well, I actually did have a small reason. In one of my many evil games, you voted on me on Day 1(the Terris game too, but I think I remember you doing it a time before that when I was evil too). So I thought I'd return the favor in case you were the evil one in this game. PK. Trelagist, you really wanted your role, but then you disappeared once you got it. Maybe you were discussing the game somewhere besides the main thread? I guess I can say that I'm on Sel. I actually had the same thought that the evils might be spread throughout the planets, but I don't think it can really help us too much as of right now. Still, later on when more information has become available, it might become relevant somehow, so if there's no real danger of revealing where you are, I see no problem with it. Lol, ninja'd by a vote on me.

Yay! Got my game PM! Now I'll put a vote on PK, for no reason. I'm thinking I'm gonna force a lynch each Day Turn. So if anyone has 1 vote at the end of the Day and we haven't decided who to lynch, I'm going to lynch them, no matter what.
