  1. Well, I'm a villager(basically caught Gamma, if you want a little bit of evidence to back up my claim). Hellscythe just caught cloudjumper and voted on Winter and Gamma. SilverDragon killed Winter. So that left you. But now that cloudjumper's revealed to have Wood as well, you're not the shadiest anymore! Edit: I say we give cloud the unanimous vote. I don't think there's any harm in it.
  2. I don't really care if the eliminators have a Tier three role or not. What I think is pretty obvious is that the eliminators most likely have a second kill, because of how much protection the village has. If the eliminators didn't have a second kill, it would be pretty tough for them to kill very often. There's been like 5 villagers with Metal Tier one and a couple Earth Tier two players, along with 4 Wood type players(who aren't completely cleared as of yet. Aman looks like the shadiest of the bunch to me of course). If Araris was village, that would be another extra life, plus 2 more protections(and another village kill). Even extra numbers wouldn't help much against that powerful of a village. The only way I see that being possible is probably a redirect or something, along with multiple vote manip roles, so the eliminators can control the lynch(in which case you would be a prime suspect Joe, for your Fire). Anyways, from what we know, I think I could see the eliminators having started with 5 players. Maybe a team of: Winter, Gamma, cloudjumper, Araris and Joe. Joe and Gamma have the vote power. Joe, cloud and Winter have the PM's. Cloud has the extra Action for the group kill. Gamma has Earth to draw any attacks away from any of his unprotected fellows(while Araris protects him with Metal three(in theory. I've been roleblocking him though)). And then of course Araris has the extra kill/extra life, 2 protects and Earth Tier one to throw us off. Just my current theory anyways.
  3. No worries, it didn't affect anything. What exactly was said in the PM though? Nice work! Sheesh, it seems like we're getting really lucky though... Araris is actually Metal 3. He claimed to have protected 2 players sometime back in an earlier Cycle(C2 I think?). Edit2: Nevermind, you already knew that. >> End of Edit2. I think it might be a good idea for whoever got Fire 2 to roleclaim in the thread as well, since then we'd be aware of who's doing the killing. Actually, SilverDragon killed last Cycle(he killed Winter). I'm not sure why he didn't kill anyone this Cycle though. That's a bit odd, but maybe he just forgot or something. Edit: Oh yeah, Cloudjumper. I also had the thought that we could lynch Araris(to get around his extra life(Metal Tier 1 power)) and then SilverDragon could Metal kill Cloudjumper. Or does Cloudjumper have Metal Tier 1 as well? I forget(I'm not keeping up too well with who has what >.<). Edit3: Yep, cloudjumper claimed to have Metal Tier 1. Nevermind about killing him with a kill rather than the lynch then. I guess I'll roleblock Araris.
  4. Yay! Got another one! In response to Conq's vote on me last Cycle, I think I should be mostly cleared at this point, for revealing I targeted Gamma with W1 last Cycle, which revealed that he moved his own vote and is the sole reason we lynched him. To let players know what my Actions were once again, I targeted myself with W1 again and roleblocked Araris with W2 again. I find it highly likely that he's the eliminators 2nd kill, given SD is cleared(imo) and Seonid is revealed to be a villager who had 2 kills at his disposal and there has been no evidence to suggest any other kill roles out there. Other than Araris, I don't really have any other big suspects. I still think Joe is fishy, but given Gamma tried to lynch him on C1, I'm less suspicious of him now(I could still definitely see him being evil though).
  5. Don't forget to green out your vote on Conquestor Gamma! And Araris, really? Are you seriously not going to vote on Gamma, but vote with him?!? C'mon people, I really don't like the small amount of votes on Gamma right now. Vote on Gamma please! If anyone has vote manipulation powers, would you mind moving Araris' or Gamma's vote to Gamma? Edit: Joe, my friend and pal! Mind using your vote/vote manip to put the lynch in a safe position?
  6. This was earlier in the Cycle, before I revealed I'd targeted him with W1. So it appears he wasn't going to reveal he'd changed his own vote, which is pretty suspicious imo. I'll move my vote from Araris to Gamma now, since I think I'm more suspicious of Gamma at this point. I'm going to sleep now. Weddings are exhausting. :/ I'll probably look over Gamma's posts tomorrow sometime and decide if I want to move my vote back to Araris or Joe, but I think it's probably gonna stay on him for the rest of this Cycle.
  7. Nice job, SD. I do think it would be a better idea for you to protect yourself with W1(even though you have an extra life), because it protects from roleblocks and redirects. Thanks for protecting me though(even though I was protecting myself as well)! And thanks Hellscythe for figuring out that thing with Gamma's vote. I was being stupidly confused about that. :/ I may change my vote over to him later.
  8. Ooo, I really want to get this! Lift is awesome(obviously) and I haven't had the chance to read any of the short stories yet, so this is perfect! And I also love maps. That sounds amazing.
  9. Okay, so, my reads so far: Araris - So far, there's been 2 villagers with Tier 1 Metal who've died. Bugsy and Conq also have Metal(at least Tier 1). One of them could be the vigilante who killed Winter(not asking for a claim here guys, just stating a theory), basically clearing them(not a 100% clear, but I can't say I can see Winter letting herself be killed off just to gain some trust for one of her teammates. I mean, maybe? But I don't think it's likely). So, at least 3 villagers with Metal. Araris has Tier 3 Metal. Given that at least 3 players have Tier 1 Wood and 2 villagers had Earth Tier 2, I think it's definitely right to assume the Traitors have at least 1 extra kill. So...given we know Araris isn't the kill role that killed Winter, my suspicion of him has risen a good bit I think. His above post about forgetting to put in any Actions at all doesn't sound like something an eliminator would do(because they'd be talking about their roles and what they should do with them, etc.), but it definitely could happen and could even be a lie on his part(although it would be a seemingly random lie. Smart to do, if it is a lie.). I usually don't base suspicions off of role distribution, but in this case, along with the fact he attacked on C1 and his kill role is a hidden power(his primary is Earth), he's just been bumped up to suspect no. 1 for me. So, I'm voting on him. Joe - I'm still suspicious of him. And my point about his and Araris' one interaction on Cycle 1 feels like more of a tell than it did back when I called it a paranoid theory, although I'll admit that point is based on Araris' alignment and so I don't think I'd like to lean on that point for explaining why I think Joe might be evil. Really, I've given my reasoning previously and I've got to get to sleep soon and still have a bunch more players, so I'll just say, his abilities would fit well with a team of evils of Winter, Araris, Joe and probably 1 more who's like, Earth and Fire or something, idk. DC - Village read all the way so far. Mailliw - Based on PM's with Winter, gut and just overall tone of posts, I'd guess villager. He's a bit tough to read until I've got more to go on. Hellscythe - Seems to want a bunch of information. I'm reading him as village with a touch of paranoia thrown in to make me doubt that read. I think he's village though. It's kind of a gut thing, kind of a "I don't think he'd do what he's been doing as an eliminator" thing. Bugsy - Another I've been reading as village for pretty much the whole game. Could be wrong(obviously >.<). Conquestor - Um, I honestly don't remember what he's done so far in the game. >> Sorry Conq! I'll read over his posts sometime soon to see what I can find. Tentative village lean just based on how I've felt about his posts when I initially read them. Cloudjumper - Pretty quiet. Not exactly unusual for him, but a little frustrating since I asked him a direct question and he never answered(I asked him what he thought about Joe last Cycle). Sooo, a little suspicious, I guess? :/ SilverDragon - Like I said before, him claiming to have attempted to protect Winter in the thread would kinda be suicide if he was evil. Could it have been an elaborate plot? No. (J/k, maybe, but I really don't think so.) Seonid - Can't get a good read on him. For some reason I can't stop thinking of him as my GM. Gamma - Seems like a nice innocent villager. (Heck, I don't know. He did try to lynch Joe on C1, but again, I'm not a huge fan of making alignment assumptions based on unconfirmed living players alignments.) Aman - Umm, neutral read, surprisingly. I generally can get some kind of read on him by this point, but he hasn't been posting as much as usual and those posts just completely throw me off. Don't know what it is about you Aman. I'm calling it now that if there's a secret role, he's it. Lopen - Well, since I did say I was suspicious of Winter(multiple times) and almost voted on her last Cycle, I should be cleared by now. Yeah, so, goodnight all. I'll talk to you all tomorrow sometime after my sisters wedding most likely. (So, pretty late in the day most likely)
  10. Darn, you caught me! Nah, just kidding. I don't know why the PM didn't close, because I did use W1 on myself on C1 and C2. I'm guessing it's just because the GM's were figuring out how PM's were gonna be affected by the different rules and so when they made the decision about how PM's would fit in the grand scheme of things the PM was still open so they decided to just leave it open? That's my guess. Here's my Actions so far: Cycle 1 Actions: Use W1 on myself. Use W2 on Joe(but the GM's missed this, so Joe's abilities worked. they granted me an extra Action for last Cycle to make up for it. (thanks guys! )). Cycle 2 Actions: Use W1 on myself. Use W1 on Gamma(my extra Action). Use W2 on Araris. Now, what I'm trying to understand is how Gamma's vote was moved if I made him untargetable. I asked Elb about it, but she said that everything was correct, so I don't really know how they moved Gamma's vote. Misunderstandings that get me votes aside, I've been thinking. The player who caught Araris using Metal Tier III would be a top priority target for the eliminators, right? Because a Tier III Air user is a pretty dangerous player to be left alone. That players identity is known to multiple players(Hellscythe for sure, and 2 other players because a player spied on the player who caught Araris using that Metal and told someone else about it). So at least 3 players know who it is and I suspect Mailliw might know who it is as well. I think I do too. So, with that many players knowing their identity, it's almost definite that a Traitor would know it, right? But that player wasn't killed, phatt was. I suspect they weren't killed because it would implicate Traitors because of 2 possible reasons - they knew of his power/Araris is evil. I'm thinking it may be both of those reasons actually.
  11. No problem gancho. I just don't like sudden unexplained votes on me. Mailliw Oh yeah, I roleblocked Araris with W2, so he's not the one who killed Winter. Figured I'd just reveal that right away, since it might become important to know at some point. And I think I should bring this back up, given Winter's revealed to have been an evil. SilverDragon targeted Winter with a protection that failed. Winter did not have a W1 ability, so who protected her? There are 4 Wood players revealed at this point: me, Aman, Hellscythe and SD. There might be more though.
  12. I don't think you can self target with E2 though, so phatt was a sitting duck. And my reads seem to be on point so far. I'm gonna say that SilverDragon is soft-cleared(at least to me he is), for telling the thread his protection on Winter didn't work. If he was evil, I am pretty sure he'd have no reason to reveal that, since he wouldn't want to connect to one of his teammates so blatantly. I'm very confused at to why someone moved Gamma's vote from phatt to Burnt(I believe that was the only vote shenanigan Mailliw). The way I see it, it could have been an eliminator wanting to force a lynch and realizing they were already killing phatt, decided to move a vote onto someone with a vote. I believe both Gamma and Joe were online after the votes switched off of Joe and onto phatt, so I'm thinking that one of them is probably evil. Could either of you prove that you didn't use your Tier I Fire?
  13. Because he never responded to me about Joe and I've seen him around this thread a pretty good amount but he's not posting much at all. I mostly just put him on there to see if he'd respond, since he seems to be a quieter player. I haven't seen anything really suspicious from him besides the lurking. Maybe if Araris turns out to be a Traitor, he could be one as well, because he was trying to get the votes off of Araris while Araris was gone and given his quietness, that struck me as a little bit odd because he hadn't commented on very much else so far and I'd considered the other subjects of discussion just as worthy of mention in a post(Joe, for example), but he only commented on the votes on Araris(twice, I think). So maybe he's teammates with Araris or maybe he wants to buddy up with him by getting votes off of him. *shrugs* Either way, he's someone I would lynch, if there isn't a better target by the end of the Cycle. Thanks for the vote tally Hellscythe. I hadn't realized there was a vote on Winter and Mailliw was still voting on Joe. Joe is still my top suspect, so I'll move my vote over there. Cloudjumper. If you guys all yell at me that he's obviously village because he didn't save himself from the lynch(which I view as him betting with his life because he was one of the most suspected players last Cycle, but I could be wrong, idk, it's just the 2nd Cycle), then I might move my vote to Winter instead. Oh yeah, one last thing. DC started his PM with me very early in the 1st Cycle, which I viewed as more of a village thing to do(spontaneous decision), given eliminator PM people would probably want to discuss with their buddies how best to use theirs PMs. So that's why I said I wouldn't lynch DC. Hey Joe, considering it's revealed you have PM's, could you tell us how long after the game started you started the PM's? I'm curious. Edit: 1,000 posts!
  14. Player list: Araris - tough call. I'd like to get his Actions sorted out, but I find it a little bit suspicious he attacked someone on C1. He gave his reasons, but I'm still wondering about him. Probably would lynch. Joe - would definitely lynch. phatt - tough to read, but so far I'm leaning village based on gut(I've been wrong about him a couple times before though :/ ). wouldn't lynch. DC - wouldn't lynch. Mailliw - wouldn't lynch. Hellscythe - wouldn't lynch. Winter - I guess I'd lynch her(even though I'd feel a bit bad about it). She's not discussing anything in the thread, but using PM's apparently? She also never commented on me saying I was suspicious of her I don't think(unless her post never posted so I missed it?) Bugsy - wouldn't lynch I don't think. Conquestor - wouldn't lynch. Cloudjumper - would lynch. SD - wouldn't lynch. Burnt - wouldn't lynch, but I am confused about what went on with her Actions. Seonid - wouldn't lynch, but I can't seem to recall him commenting on the lynch almost at all, so a bit sus imo. Gamma - wouldn't lynch(can't stop the only consistent RP now can we? ). Aman - wouldn't lynch, although he feels slightly off to me. I'm not really getting an evil read, but it's off somehow(maybe he's a secret role?). Lopen - wouldn't lynch. >> I just figured that would be an easy way to say how I feel about all of the players right now. I'll leave my vote on Cloudjumper for now, but will bandwagon on any of the ones I said I'd lynch if they're up for the lynch. Does anyone have a vote tally?
  15. Yeah, I've noticed that trend too. >.< Usually ends up with one of us killing the other(although I think you're much more successful at attacking me than I have been at attacking you :/). Anyways, I'm gonna be busy with rl stuff for the rest of the Cycle, so I don't think I'll be able to post much more than this small amount if any, from here on out. I'll try to respond to PM's as well, but they'll probably be short responses too.
  16. Any reasoning to back up your suspicion of me? If you don't think anyone would get behind a lynch on me then that seems to imply you don't have any actual reasoning to try and make a case against me. I've been open about my Actions and my suspicions. Although now I don't really know what to think of Araris. I was thinking Metal 3 would be a useful eliminator power, because it has a kill and protects and can be Heired to another eliminator to keep the second kill within their ranks. I don't know though, I've been busy, so I've just skimmed the thread right now. Seriously? -_-''' Anyways, people's odd attraction to dumping all of their info to Joe on C1 aside, I think it should be pretty obvious who DC was waiting for an apology from. >> (yeah, it was me ) Edit: Ooo, lots of ninja's 'round here.
  17. Jimmy, the Lifeless Knight Radiant Hamster who held the Shard of Honour was patrolling Roshar with 1 goal in mind: Protect. It was the single thought in his Lifeless body, the last command of his deceased Commander. The thought had begun to transform into an ideal after he'd received the Shard of Honor, where his only desire was to protect his own Honour. Suddenly a horrible stench arrived on the planet along with a woman, coming from the Purelake. Jimmy heard the woman scream "HONOR, I HAVE COME FOR YOU!" Jimmy knew his Honour would be Shattered if he didn't escape the horrible fate that crazy lady had in store for him. He had to get away! But where? Jimmy had recognized the lady as a member of the 17th Shard. They had contacts in many places. His Honour had to be protected! Maybe he could go to a place with many people where he could hide in the large cities or maybe he'd escape to a place so devoid of people that surely the 17th Shard couldn't find him. Regardless, he knew he couldn't stay, for she'd found his weakness. It appeared that he'd be on the run until he could be certain that the 17th Shard was completely destroyed. -------------------------------------------------------- And so the chase begins. I know what World you're on and you know what World I'm on. Catch me if you can Arraenae! (Or not, it's up to you. But I may just have to give Honour away if you do catch me. )
  18. That was the protect that got blocked? So far, I'd be okay with lynching Joe, Araris or Winter. Joe, because I was already suspicious last Cycle and his saying he's "disappointed" that he wasn't lynched just seems like a ploy to me because he's been one of the most suspected players so far. So why would he think that the eliminators would choose to get him lynched? I don't see the logic there. Plus, I think his vote on Elodin was pretty late in the Cycle, so it wasn't a great set up in the first place and I view that "plan" as more of an excuse to save himself. I would lynch Araris because I think the Traitors might have a second kill and I'm surprised that he'd kill anyone, because he didn't mention that many players last Cycle and he certainly didn't mention those who were attacked by metalcrafters. Winter, because I have a small gut feeling that she could be evil just based off of her posts and because of the news that SD's protection of her was blocked, which probably means she was being protected by W1 and I think that would be a very useful power for an evil(they could be certain any attacks they used weren't blocked/redirected among other things). Don't worry though Winter, I'm not all that suspicious of you. I'm just thinking you definitely could be an evil. @Joe, well, I did try to roleblock you yes. You didn't get roleblocked?
  19. So, 2 players are up for the lynch. If you both were villagers, the eliminators wouldn't have to use any vote manipulation to let a villager die. But, if they'd wanted to, they could have moved a vote to try and frame one of you. If you are an eliminator, then you bet your life on the coin flip to try and help get the idea that you're a villager with no outside help or you're the only eliminator with vote manipulation power, so you couldn't use your power to change a vote(because I roleblocked you). Not sure which scenario I think is more likely, but I am still wondering about you. Yup, I self-targeted and got that message. I'm assuming that's the message we're gonna get each time we protect ourselves like that, regardless of if anyone actually targeted us or not. I was curious about it too though and I guess it is possible we were both targeted with something, but I wouldn't think so, since I basically said I was gonna self-target last Cycle.
