  1. Granted, but upon tasting that milk, your mind becomes overwhelmed from the sheer awesomeness and you suffer amnesia I wish for no wishes
  2. I thought that was just Hoid throwing in a seemingly 'random' word (Still claiming that is related to Lightweaving), considering he said Gibberish earlier in the sentence, unless it was perhaps something entirely different
  3. Well, he ?has/had? charisma and was quite adept at charming the rest of the crew over but i don't think he'd be in the business of hiring assassins, more he'd probably do the dirty work himself
  4. Another thing. It is speculated in this translation is that Jasnah had originally planned to activate them with her 'uncle' but the only one she has, that we know of...is Dalinar, and Dalinar knew nothing of Oathgates at this stage. So who could she be referring too? In other words 'Wut I Belev To Be Gatwas Ther But Thu [____ba] [_dgr] [A____] m Uns' I interpret the ending of this line and beginning of the next as 'means' and not once/ones. I also think that the 'ba' sound is a word ending in B if the whole thing is phonetic "An Hao To Work Them Is Likle To Dangerus To Aktuvat Them On Thu" Are we sure this word could be 'and' and not 'of'?
  5. I never caught the first Ravnica block, but was around for late-late R2R. My first made deck was Green/Blue acutally (it sucked....like almost facepalm worthy) I even managed to get Zegana in a booster too ^^ was thinking about combining a few of my Ravnica ones with my 2 U/G decks i'm tinkering with (One based around Kruphix etc/the other Kiora)
  6. I played M14 DotP but never bothered with any of the rest of them. How is it? May have over emphasised her a little bit. She's great if i'm playing Mana Ramp or some Green/White, but by the time she's PW, i'd have most of my mana out anyway, that or the opponent would be dead due to all the heavies being out. And you had a promo version of her?!!!! crazy >.>...and speaking of Nissa...I actually got her in my fat pack, i actually lol'd when i saw her Yeah, loved whipping out Planar Devastation on my friends when they thought they were going to win xD All those slivers *_* will be buying the Hivelord from M15 (along with a few other green powerhouses) I like Green/Blue but i struggle to find a good theme to go around
  7. Ant-Man....freaking amazing. Perfect send off for Phase 2. the slightly OTT humour actually works, and that tank!
  8. I'm not actually sure if Rosharans have innate investiture
  9. While i do believe Zahel has some history with the Heralds, i don't believe he is Ishar, although it has been RAFO'd a few times about whether or not the Heralds are native to Roshar or not, although on the other hand, that doesn't exactly give context as to whether that means they're pre-tranquiline halls exodus or born on Roshar. I think in regards to the Oathpact's restrictions, they might not apply due to aharietiam or at least they aren't as strict, given the Oathpact isn't completely broken. This WoB doesn't support the name thing though As for his name....
  10. I've had a few weird ones, some very rarely recurring. There is this series of seperate yet linked (like the cosmere haha), where i'm going through a forest/woodland area and there are these graves, a crypt and three individuals; a young small boy, a teenage/young adult girl and an adult male. In one i'm chasing after the young boy, playing with him but it is weird. His hair, like the other two, is limp, dank and greasy/oily/matted down with something, his skin is blotchy bone white and drab grey with dark - almost black - blood vessels showing along with dark areas (around the eyes) The kid's happy as can be, laughing and giggling then he vanishes. The girl is different. Same hair, skin tone etc as the kid but she's...angry. Like borderline Odium rage but her face shows no expression; she'll just lash out and growl/scream. Weird(er) thing is, she broke out from the last of the graves (the other 2 were already broken) I don't know what she's angry at The man though....this still creeps me a little. I'm in the same forest/woods as the kid, but this time i flash to the damp stone hallway, filled with leaves, cobwebs, the whole shabang. The crypt thing is like an entry hallway into a small throneroom...low and behold there's a stone chair/throne in the middle of a raised dais. A figure - what i originally believe to be a statue - is sitting on it. Like the previous two, the skin is grey/white although there's something different about it; it is kind of rocky and stone like in parts. As i slowly get closer to the dais, i hear cracking and a slight moan and i notice the statue's eyes suddenly open as well as the mouth opens part way (i remember black faded and cracked lips vividly) . I briefly look in them and i see, or feel, the worst agony and the loudest roar of pain ever (It is like the mental scream Kaladin/Renarin hears when they touch a dead sprenblade) The worst thing is, there's no physical reaction or sound actually being made. We're both just frozen there and i'm just feeling this bone cold sensation of wariness and dread along with this deep, dark, amused malevolence. Thing is, i'm not acutally scared or there, it's just like i'm watching from afar I'l go back to my out-of-place now
  11. Brent Weeks <3 (really wish he'd expand the Night Angel trilogy) Paoilini's Inheritance Saga was interesting. Conservation of Energy/Intent/Commands blend. Truth is a tricky concept. I think it would tie more in with Awareness/Sentience/Sapience
  12. Granted, you now have no fingers. I wish for an Everstorm to wipe out all the B.A.R.K/B.I.T.E members
  13. Oh don't get me wrong, I am agreed it probably, and beyond a doubt, is their Oath as i did consider what we know of the Stonewards, their reputation and their Herald but i was just thinking it could easily have applied to Dustbringers, depending on how you interpret it.
  14. Anyone that didn't let out a slight guffaw at that needs to get their sense of humour checked haha
  15. I am leaning toward them, but the primary attribute of the Releasers - Bravery - sounds like it might fit
  16. Found this WoB earlier Going from what Brandon said, and even though it isn't exact, I'd say that would belong to either the Stonewards or the Releasers/Dustbringers There was somebody that theorised that for the Orders' attributes e.g Windrunners = Protecting/Leading, the 2nd and 3rd Oaths correspond to the primary attribute whilst the 4th and 5th go with the secondary attribute, and that the secondary attribute is one they must refine
  17. Interesting WoB I found whilst trawling Theoryland Emphasis mine. Perhaps given Dev/Dom's splintering, Expanse of the Broken Sky could be Sel? Bit of a leap, but given the somewhat inverse nature of Shadesmar, the Broken Sky being parallel to the Chasm
  18. I only really got into Magic due to friends and came into it round M14, had a few bits from R2R block but Theros was my main thing. Skipped JiN due to costs then also skipped M15 and Tarkir (this block looked boring as damnation) but waiting on my Origins fat pack *_* Nissa is too OP. Mainly play green but i can play other colours (depends on deck theme) Main types of deck I like to play are Mana Ramp, Sacrificial Burn, Depletion, Life, Counterburn, Tokens > (thank you R2R <3) and of course, Slivers!
  19. I do agree with you THS, but i just kinda shake my head/facepalm whenever that happens (don't get me started on New 52 Starfire's outfit) but my opinion on the matter is way too long/complicated to go into
  20. Don't forgt to factor in the longevity of non-human races. Elves and dragons can live for nearly millenia depending on the source (granted you could still live for centuries and still be backwards in society) You could argue the case either way to be fair. If anyone's read Gaiman's The Sandman, you'll remember a mortal character in one of the volumes who doesn't die, and it shows all the stages of life he goes through and they aren't all great. By the end of the story, he is, not so much wiser but less of a fool than he when he started out so it goes to show, with time humans could become something more than we are. I disagree that, with technological (effectively intelligence) advancement comes moral advancement, although, as you said it does make a lot of sense and would be probably expected
  21. It could be perhaps a Dragon visited a somepoint of Nalthis' history
  22. Shard of Spambots
  23. Derp, I didn't realise that this was the topic. I'm thinking that she is another Worldhopper for sure, or at the very least, someone who is very cosmere aware, perhaps from another secret organisation maybe
  24. Just seen ccstat's comment answered with an interesting RAFO. https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/ct8e7lu?context=3
