why would shadesmar for the cosmere look like aninverted roshar? i think that every planet has their own shadesmar, which is a reflection of their own world (the shadesmar round sel would be very white im guessing).

i would think aondor would be one of those that got weaker the further u wentt from sel

not necessarily, he steelpushed the second bullet to make it go faster but i agree personally it probably did keep the speed by the way if it does, for the point and shoot method you could probably stack flared bubbles and steelpush something small out of it lol, with rly gd timing

the bullet wax shot slowed down somewhat at least, else how could he have fired the second one if it was still travelling at bullet speed to him

brandon said becoming a drab harms people in some way (im sure), this suggests to me that it is not just something extra, else they wouldnt lose anything personally when they gave it away. this doesnt exactly go against what you said in any way btw just that its slightly more entangled in said spiritweb and just not so easy to give away without taking a little extra

the only metal that can steal any ability that we know of is atium, everything else that is being stolen requires specific metals and placing the spikes requires very specific placement to have any chance at working. what would a spike have to be made of to steal a windrunners ability? possibly atium but it seems unlikely to happen without serious knowledge of what you are doing beforehand to have any idea something is possible Oo and no other planet has atium, and the other shards dont appear to use each others magic systems much. also im sure there was a quote somewhere saying that all of the magic systems could be made to work anywhere in the cosmere, with varying amounts of efforts, this could mean that they all require close proximity to their respective shards to work, but i think it implies that once invested it sticks with you whereever you go

harmony is playing favorites with wax, he is a shardholder, he coulda found other ways of convincing some1 to do a good act then killing the love of his life!

i know she said they cancel each other out, reckon that is completely like if they touch at all both just do nothing despite the fact only a small area is touching, or would you have a portion of normal time next to some ppl going super fast next to some ppl slowed completely down. the slow bubbles are apparently much larger too, so its possible that one could have a benalloy bubble in the middle of a cadmium one so its an area of normal time right inside a large area where every1 is slowed. i could understand that if a bendalloy bubble was up and an allomancer created a cadmium one it would cancel it out. err thinking about this has made me wonder if time speeds up always at the same rate for everyone who can use bendalloy and personal power only effects size, or do some ppl speed things up slightly faster then others? and does it speed up a set amount from "normal" time flow or from time relative to the person making the bubble, because what happens if you get a bendalloy bubble inside a bendalloy bubble of slightly large size, does it go rly quick? or would any bubbles touching each other just merge into one. anyway if somebody created a cadmium bubble and then used bendalloy in it, there should still be a large area that is slow, so the ppl in the bendalloy bubble should be moving at normal speed whilst every1 around is rly slow, but then could another bendalloy bubble be created inside that cancelled out area to make it speed up? or you reckon its just if any part of a bendalloy and cadmium bubble touch both just have no effect at all and metal is wasted till one or both are turned off? would be simpler i guess

The lord ruler was not particularly pleasant with how he treated the terris population, he was somewhat stricter with them then skaa, and then the inquisitors attacked and wiped out the feruchemists that managed to remain, killing those with a still strong connection to preservation, also probably not a great time for them that remained

Ye ye but the terris people have been having it bred out of them, whereas the rest of the population have had 1000 years to dilute 10 beads of lerasium to every1! That or maybe they just lived hard lives that counted as snapping?

I can't think of a reasonable reason why marsh wouldn't be a savant xD vin can sense the difference in pulses, but she has been spiked with enough power to pierce copper clouds, and is already very strong. Marsh is surprised by the fact she can do this, because not many can and he took ages of practicing. I possibly think he said he leaves it on alot, or vin should, but I can't be sure on that. He can tell not only the metal but also which emotions are being manipulated, he used it alot....and it really seems like the thing his character would do right? "omg something useful, must be the best I can be in this so I can help other people with it! Train proper and all that!" etc Also I agree with chaos and kchan about the rest

Ye I think when whoever it is that goes to meet the terris people in the pits hears they haven't been affected, but then they have spent a long time having feruchemy bred out of them and were the least likely to gain hereditary lines of allomancy Can't remember about nobles

i think its tied mroe to the fundamental forces of the universe (physics style not magic), like electromagnetism and strong/weak forces gravity that could just be me tho!
