I don't think there are any desolations after the heralds stop, they tell them they won and since then there is no signs of desolations until taln shows up afaik

There is no good reason a perfectly healthy body that is healing far more then it is deteriorating should suffer from greater and greater amounts of deterioration as time goes on, it stays healthy so would continue to deteriorate at the same rate as always, which is alot less then it's healing.

Even tho they did leave them the heralds probably just resummoned them sometime later right? Some might still have theirs now

i dont think you should base it just on that u know elantris is a massive power booster on the ground for the magic system, this doesnt mean magic only works near elantris but the elantrians near their home are the most powerful with it....but they can clearly use magic away from it else elantrians woulda never made it to roshar, perhaps molding your bones to the symbols the magic in ur area is based on gives u that magic, but obviously not as much (in power or variety) as a city sized symbol.

ancient fjordell characters might be linked to their land and imprinting it on their bones may give them power because they have no elantris aon boosting them

Awesome nice work Heralds appear to have been mentioned alot lately, Kinda makes it sound like we clearly missing one. The ones I know of are; Jezrien - Prologue Kalak - prologue (my iBooks is messing up so it's from memory but I think it's these 2) Shalash - smashing stuff Taln - end Also it seems likely sigzil (aaah so many names i think its this one) is the one who can probably use light weaving as he seems to have been hoids apprentice for quite some time One other thing, looks pretty likely her memory is a surge, suspected it was, but he coul just be intentionally throwing us off I guess lol

Preservation stuck to the number 16, due to its import to the cosmere I think, but there are more then 16 metals, preservation tweaked things to make 16 his calling card , personal choice! There is nothing to suggest each planet has a number and all things on that planet must ultimately correspond to that number

Eh allomancy is end positive, when you are invested with enough of preservation you can access power by using up metals right, that's what makes it positive. The fact that metals run out doesn't make this negative as its coming from outside. When you awaken an object yes you give it a load of breaths, but you can get them all back, what is used up is colour, that's not a part of you, that's just like metal getting used up, the strength of the colour even works like the purity of the alloys, less bright = less effect This suggests it is end positive, as you don't lose power (the breaths are still yours alone to take out) it comes from an outside source. The fact that returned and nightblood consume Breath is a little awkward! However perhaps to power consciousness/sentience/life actually consumes a small part of endowments power, not entirely sure :/

Yes it is the command but it is not the shape or pattern of individual words as any language can be used, also the same words can do multiple different things anyway

Also I think it's listed in a list of the heightenings, also it cannot be constrained by the shape of ye words, different languages use different shapes for words, would mean you could only awaken in one language, which isn't true else there wouldn't be a condition of using your native language

Nope vasher even explains that that was how they passed the breaths in the end, just required a little training, and as we know the god kings weren't exactly trained at anything at all

I think maybe people just get caught up in his will He doesn't draw breaths till he is drawn right, just when ur touching him u feel his overpowering desire to draw him and carry it out, when he is drawn this could be increased dramatically, vivenna could probably draw him with no breaths in her and it would be alright, vasher has a problem because he has that final breath he really can afford to lose

I imagine that a spinner really could make a gunman sneeze, drop his gun and accidentally shoot himself, if he was tapping alot at the time! Dunno the whole just making them awesome at causality and generally talented when tapping it isn't really being lucky and surely woulda been noted as like talent then fortune

I think the whole if you have to target a specific line mentally before you can push on it, on would think it would be hard to push your own bullet or other peoples, however wax has his bubble always pushing everything a little so I guess it's pretty easy to select what u wanna push, singly or even just in general direction

i dont think tlr could be controlled simply by someone soothing him. also, he had copper right, wouldnt that protect him from emotional allomancy, therefore from any other allomancers trying to control him?

think about it..its trace metals, now we see vin later on burning loads of bad alloys looking for duralamin. She doesnt die from this, but doesnt gain any power and its not very pleasant. In the trace metals she is burning from the water, they might not be allomantically pure, but they are close enough to give her a tiny amount of power (because there is a tiny amount) and because there is a tiny amount one, it would probably be covered by the tiny pewter and two, there is so little and it is so close to the metal anyway and she is walking round as an urchin feelingpretty bad anyway so i cant see how she would notice even if she were burning slightly bad alloys

I know it's the commands and all but you seem to never take account that awakening can be done with no sound or movement of the mouth at all, it's much more about the visualisation, according to vasher, note how he can do very complicated things with small amounts of breath and 2 words, the words someone else can use to get completely different results

Elendil was named by spook I think, so he didn't necessarily have to do anything extra
