  1. Adamir's willingness to be role blocked consistently has, when weighted with the possibility of a over zealous defence put some doubt in my mind as to his guilt - and as such I will remove my vote from him - Adamir I would vote for myself, yet I already have a vote on myself - and so I will vote for LightswornPanda as I don't think he currently has a vote. I remain slightly suspicious of Meta - would anyone currently with him care to tell us how he has been acting this cycle? If LightswornPanda does indeed have a vote I shall return and edit this.
  2. Much though I hate to do this I am going to put my vote on Adamir. His posts continue to feel... Off... Phattemar, I also don't out too much stock behind him revealing the issues with Meta's plan - the maths and discrediting it sound like they came from Seonid, so he isn't really helping the village a huge amount by telling us in the main thread. Adamir, I apologise if you are innocent and are merely vigorous in your defense - you are just the most suspicious of the players I have interacted with this far. Can I also call out those in the Caboose Car with me - there has been astonishingly little communication - I have been away for the whole cycle until now and came back to 4 posts - two of which were from Renegade. If we are to find the Coinshot Clan, it will be through communication, and forcing them to slip up in posts!
  3. Although I said to my companions in my carriage that I would vote for Adamir, on the grounds that I am somewhat suspicious of him, but that he doesn't have a current vote, so someone would have to agree with me to have him lynched, I have noticed that Meta appears to have two votes on him. Whilst I am wary of Meta, I do not think him yet worthy of a lynch, and as such I shall vote for [color:red] Araris [/color] to tie off the vote, and because his inactivity having called out a player himself is somewhat interesting - and if we are to lynch, an inactive might he better than meta, who if good has great potential for the passengers. Edit: no one has posted following me, so I am continuing this - I presume this is the correct procedure? Following Zas' agreement with me regarding Adamir, I shall change my vote from ARARIS to ADAMIR - capitalised due to my inability to sort out colour on here... I think it better we have a shot at a cultist than an inactive - whilst now not leaving meta to the lynch.
  4. Seonid, I have been thus far inactive due to timezones, and Father's Day. I have a few beginnings of suspicions from my carriage, but not sufficient to warrant voting - yet. Also, I said this in the pm, but I think it ought to be said again here. In my opinion there should be no crossover with HttFE - whether in actions or suspicions. Confusing the two undermines the fairness of this game - in which we ought to judge players based on their actions here, not suspicious behaviour elsewhere.
  5. Again, time has conspired against me. I apologise for the continual lack of RP. Who? Locke Tekiel When? Third action of the turn What? Trying for an heir Where? Keep Tekiel Why? To produce offspring to strengthen House Tekiel Names: Male: Hanno. Female: Dido Edit: added why
  6. Apologies for the lack of RP, dealing with IRL issues so haven't had a lot of time. I shall edit the post to flesh it out at a later point. Who? Lord Tekiel What? Trying for an heir When? Third action of this turn Where? Keep Tekiel Why? To ensure the longevity of House Tekiel I shall edit in potential heir names tomorrow.
  7. Wait, so are we all starting owning a city? If not then don't those who claim a royal title get a gamebreaking advantage - In my mind, although less fitting with canon, each just starting as an individual with no previous holdings is far more balanced.
  8. Is there still time for me to sign up? I'd need a house name, as I don't have a copy of MAG, and I'm not feeling particularly inventive right now, but this seems like a lot of fun! Edit: Could I play as Locke Borjigin? Actuallt a Scadrian name would fit much better
  9. Well.. That was an interesting turn of events! It will be very useful having your analysis, Wonko, I'm sure, and hopefully we can narrow it down a lot when we get the results of the next day cycle. I'm not sure what I can add regarding suspicions right now - when I've got a bit more time I will have a look through the sequence of events last night, and work out how that corresponds with the earlier suspicions I had.
  10. Kipper, as Kasimir said above, my point about not being the Gyorn is that were I to be the Gyorn and make a post, such as I did, arguing that its danger is not as great as feared, the risk of such an action would be so high that the likelihood is low - as opposed to your rather shallow 'blanket logic' above.
  11. In case I get lynched and cannot discuss this later, I propose that all villagers getting lynched, if they own a korathi pendant, make sure they send it to someone else - it doesn't massively help the cultists, should they get one, as unless I've missed something we don't have any kill actions ourselves, so it just helps slow the Gyorn, and has a chance of preventing the cultists making a kill at no let loss to the village. Do let me know if I've forgotten something though! Edit: fixed typo
  12. So Kasimir and Mckeedee, just to be clear, you are accusing me of being the Gyorn? If I were the Gyorn, however, would I not be completely mad to seem to play down the importance of the gyorn - and thereby bringing suspicion upon myself? Indeed, I cannot think of few worse plays for the Gyorn than in the first cycle, with no standing lynch target, to bring suspicion upon myself. You will note that the post which earned me two votes merely voiced my opinion that the Gyorn isn't too large a threat - if we have the lists, we should either have a small pool of possible contenders from whom we know the Odiv must be, or the Gyorn delays choosing an Odiv, in which case we have little time pressure. When numbers are thinning towards the end of the game, it should become apparent who the gyorn is - or at least we will have a very small pool in which the gyorn must reside. As such, my belief is that whilst we should keep track of who the converts are, the cultists remain the larger threat
  13. Kasimir, whilst it's not a zero sum game, many players make a limited contribution to the topic, and therefore could conceivably get away with making an observation or contribute to the discussion about the Gyorn, rather than the cultist - just something we have to be wary of. My voting for Mckeedee is due to my own suspicions of his voting for me on flimsy grounds - indicating to me that he wishes to start a bandwagon vote early, which both could guarantee the eliminators aren't at risk and stifles discussion in thread.
  14. In case I am being misinterpreted, my position, as I hope I made clear above, is that whilst I agree with Kasimir's suggestion we keep track of converts, we do not overly focus on them, lest we let the cultists hide in discussions which won't threaten them. You deciding me guilty based on last game is somewhat interesting - last game I was clearly acting to defend an individual, in a manner that in retrospect made my role incredibly obvious. Above, I merely engaged in discussion, from a viewpoint that differed to kasimir. It seems very unhealthy for discussion if we decide that anyone who disagrees with a viewpoint previously stated is a cultist - which could potentially stymie discussion rather than encourage it.
  15. Ok, I'm actually very surprised to the reaction to my post - essentially I was saying that by focussing too much on the Gyorn and Odiv we risk letting the cultists hide - and as I said above I don't disagree with Kasimir's suggestion about keeping track of numbers of converts.. My actions in MR6 were poor play, and only feasible given the overwhelming advantage we as eliminator a possessed - if I were an eliminator I would be foolhardy to repeat it - paticularly drawing attention to myself this early in the game. If I am going to get lynched, which is possible, and I'm going I be away for the next 16 hours, so won't know until later, I would like to suggest that the hoed use morse code to communicate - very few symbols requires and incredible versatility of communication. Mckeedee's vote on me, whose name I shall edit to red once I'm off my mobile, has a ring of an attempt to start a bandwagon - on grounding I maintain is flawed. Edit: colour
  16. Kasimir, my point above was not that your idea was wrong - it does indeed make sense, more an observation that I think the cultists are a far more pressing threat. Also, as the number of converts increases, so too does the likelihood that the cultists target converts - so although you are right that we need to be wary of the Gyorn, and it would indeed make sense to know who is a convert each cycle, it is not our most pressing concern - and further to that point is there not a risk that if we focus too heavily on the Gyorn and Odiv we reduce the discussion regarding Cultists, allowing them to potentially hide in the discussion. Either way, I'm not sure what part of my response warranted a vote - would you care to explain?
  17. Kasimir, I'm not actually that sure how worried we have to be about the gyon and odiv - If the Gyorn creates an early odiv we have a relatively small list of individuals who are suspect, and if he delays then the time pressure is minimal - and discovering the gyorn becomes increasingly easier the more individuals he converts - it shouldnt be difficult to work out who he is towards the end of the game
  18. Is there anything I should know about this cookie before accepting it? I'll get Steelheart soon - not a lot of time for casual reading at the moment though - got to learn the Iliad practically word for word for end of year exams...
