  1. Well neither did Szeth. I read that as pertaining to Warbreaker. As in “that guy” carrying a sword in Warbreaker not WoR. If you haven’t read Edgedancer yet you haven’t seen Szeth carrying Nightblood.
  2. Would love to hear how Brandon feels about this in retrospect. Calamity is the only thing Brandon has written that I have disliked. Which pained me to admit to my self because I liked the first two books so much. It actually made me completely uninterested in AG to be honest. I will of course give it a shot regardless because "In Brandon I trust" so it does mean a lot to me that he has shelved it until he can fix AG.
  3. Could not agree more with all of this. As cunning as Ialai is she is going to use this to her advantage in every possible way. Edit: Since I am wrong 99% anyways I'm going to go ahead and call it that it will come out in the final chapters next week.
  4. Bet we wont hear back from the OP for a while..
  5. ^^ Yes finally Kaladin not so depressed all the time..Yeah I would not put Kaladin in this category at all. Of course I wouldn't say he is with Voidbringers either as they do not seem to be at least currently. I think in the end Dalinar is going to avoid the Blackthorn. I actually like where Shallan's character development is going best of all the main characters. . I wouldn't say 100% dark but she is for sure getting into the gray area.
  6. If you are in to this kind of thing there is a Sci-Fi series I like that has this as one of the alien races https://www.craigalanson.com/books/
  7. OMG me too! Like I already have it planned out to plead to Brandon on my death bed to tell me how the Cosmere story ends if it comes to that.
  8. On another note I saw Brandon's tweet that Oathbringer has the most audible pre-orders in history. I guess there are a lot more rabid fans out there. Can't wait to see what other records it breaks.
  9. Agreed sometimes less is more (of course in Ash's case less is in the literal sense ).
  10. The first two have an air of mystery about them and look to be candid shots compared to the last two which are poses in all their glory. As we want to dissect the mystery of everything here I think we are naturally drawn to the first two. If I was looking at them objectively as art with no bias I think I would think the last two are prettier.
  11. Yeah I could see it as a representation of Oathgate travel except it really seems like Shadesmar. I thought the exact same thing about the Heralds wish there were 10 people!
  12. I would think though that finding a priceless possession "ditched" after killing Sadeas weeks after his death severely limits the suspect pool. How many people would just leave this behind after killing him? Yes it is the smoking gun but it is also priceless. If an honor balde can be hidden so can a shardblade. Ialai obviously suspects the Kholins and after Dalinar Adolin is the prime suspect. It looks like a crime of passion and who else is a better suspect? Ialai is no dummy.
  13. Urithiru does not really look like what I thought it would. It is probably bias on my part since it is my church but I always pictured it more of a spiral tower structure like our churches temple.
  14. It the tree thing in the bottom right Cultivation, the Lion thing honor and the dragon Odium?
  15. I’m not touching the morality debate with a 10 foot stick but I did want to applaud all of those debating it in such a respectful manner.
  16. I think Renarin knows as well because of the above mentioned scene and then the scene in chapter 10. I think Renarin was not only trying to heal Adolin’s hand here but his guilt.
  17. Didn’t Adolin cut through them though? I thought a sharblade couldn’t cut through aluminum or at least Brandon hasn’t confirmed it can and dodged the question. So Brandon picked aluminum on purpose right? Because of aluminum hats and crazy people?
  18. I think in regards to Dalinar's past as horrific as some of it was a lot can be contributed to the Thrill in battle. If the Thrill is in fact a product of Nergaoul who in turn is a product of Odium part of his actions are being influenced by a shard. I am not saying that is justification for all his actions as a lot of them are contributed to being Alethi as well but it is part of it. Mistborn Spoilers
  19. I'm guessing that makes them the latter of the two below.
  20. The OB spoiler board has more post than all of these combined.
  21. It is like when I just finish the chapters and the reaction thread is already at 9 pages..
  22. This is probably my favorite scene so far in OB. We get to see an actual fight against something of Odium and it was not by who I thought it would be. I didn't really think of Lightwevers in full on combat and it was a lot more awesome than I thought it would be. Sure the unmade wasn't at full power yet and Shallan essentially just scared her off but it was still really fun to see this on screen. Shallan is going to be a badass.
  23. I'm feeling the same way.
