I'm no expert on MacBooks (actually I've never used one ), but have you tried reinstalling Word? Maybe that'll solve the update problem. I rarely feel emotional enough about the things you mentioned to write anything here. I'm not gonna write things I don't really feel. Of course, I feel bad that people are dying etc, however I'm aware that terrible things happen around the world all the time. People die by hundreds if not thousands every day in Africa and Middle East, so I'm not that much moved by, for example, deaths in Paris. Sure, that was shocking, because it was much closer to me, than the fights with ISIS and I've been to Paris three times, but still I couldn't say that it ruined my day. If I write something in this thread I almost always try to help, not because I feel sorry for someone, but because helping others is simply good -

The problem is in the concept of friendzone. A guy you meet wants to start a relationship relatively fast, because he's convinced, that if he won't make it in a month or something like that, he'll just be your friend for ever. We live in times when relationships hardly ever start slowly, it's much more common to start fast and break up if things go wrong. No time to be careful. The friendzone is also a problem for you, males can put a girl in a friendzone too, and you may not even know that you don't have any chances with someone you like for some time, before you'll find out and your friendship will be probably over. I have no idea however where this "i hate you" part may come from... Maybe they think you put them in the friendzone? From my experience, it's actually convenient to get to know someone pretty well online, before you go on a date. That's because: 0. You can verify if you even want to meet with this person. 1. After hours of talking online, you won't have problems with conversation topics when you meet. 2. If you don't like someone, you just stop writing, that's easier than escaping from an awkward date. 3. It's much easier to flirt when you don't see the other person in front of you 4. In case of teenagers I think that everyone, both boys and girls, are more themselves online than in school or anywhere public. You can have more honest conversations and get to know each other. Actually, every date I've ever been on, was a result of extended online chats/text messaging, I've never built up the courage to approach a girl in person and ask her if she'd like to go see a movie with me or something. I'd probably be able to do it now, when I'm 26, but such a bold move was unthinkable for me when I was <20 -

To me, it's more like David Tennant in Places He Should Be -
But he did meet some of them, only before he met the original Clara. He met first Clara in the 'Dalek Asylum' if I remember correctly (although, he wouldn't be able to recognize her even if he knew Clara already ). Or is it not what you had in mind?

So I was looking for a place to share my hobby with you guys, but I couldn't find any topic for photography... So here is one! If you have any photos you've taken, that you're proud of or just want to share, please do so So, here I go first. Here are some of my photos from over 7 years ago, when I think I had the best results with photography, as I had enough time and a new camera. Now, I have the same camera, but the lense is no longer able to take really sharp pictures and I don't have time to post-process the pictures I take. I'll share my more recent photos too, but I want to start with the ones I'm most proud of First, a couple of pictures I took on a trip to Warsaw Zoo. It was a sunny day and the animals were quite cooperative Next category is "Mountains". I love polish mountains - Tatry - and I always take my camera when going on vacation there. Sometimes I manage to take quite good photos And a sub-category: Winter Mountains aaand just 3 more random photos a Moai, some water on a CD and a picture of my dog (she's gone now she loved to play in snow) I hope you like what you see and you'll share your creations too

Hey, I often do the same Especially with books that were obligatory to read for school... Sometimes I skipped 50% of the whole book, because it was just pointless descriptions of how trees looked or how the rooms were decorated. I was perfectly able to imagine how the trees looked without ten sentences about their leafs I think that's caused by my dyslectic mind creating a whole image of the forest before I finish reading the first sentence about the first tree. I'm so happy that Sanderson puts descriptions only where they are useful and necessary, like a description of the chasm fiend, because we don't know how it looks like.

So I've read the story of Faerie abduction Since I was paying attention to it, I noticed that you didn't provide almost any descriptions of what things looked like. Where many authors would describe the cottage in the forests you didn't write a single sentence about how it looked like. However, if I didn't know about your troubles with visualisation, I wouldn't notice it probably. While I was reading I still got it all visualised in my head. I saw the main character approaching the cabin in the woods. I saw that it had a chimney, windows etc. Then, when I read that there was a loft, the building in my head simply adjusted to that new information. So the fact, that you didn't provide any visual descriptions wasn't a problem for me, my imagination provided all the missing details The lack of descriptions allows your story to flow faster, more fluent for me. To be honest I don't really like when writers spend too much words on descriptions. I perfectly know how an old table might look like, I don't need them to describe every crack and scratch on it's surface. Some authors do that anyway, but not you and that's nice for me So I think that proves that you don't need to visualize your stories in your head to create an interesting and magical world Your readers should be able to easily fill it with what they think should be there to make the place feel like it should.

Ice cubes are cool! I've never worn a bowtie or cravat, but I think all three can be cool if worn by the right person Also cravats always confuse me, because in Polish krawat means a tie so cravats sound just like a polish word that means the other thing worn around mans neck >.<

I didn't really enjoy Man of Steel, so it's not exciting to me at all. I wish there was a Batman movie with Afleck first, so we can get to know his version of batman first. Wonder Woman and Batman introduced in one movie is a bit too much I think. -

There are ways to restore lost files. You can look for some programmes online to do that... It's quite easy to restore photos that were deleted from the hard drive, it should be possible to do the same to Word documents. Anything that has a well known structure. I wish I could advice some specific programme, but I've never needed one for documents. -
But do all Gallifreyans regenerate or is it reserved for Time Lords only?

My shopping for parents: Father: Some kind of logical puzzle to take apart or a book I'd like to read Mother: A book about healthy food and a bag of fancy tea. Christmas is not that hard -

I, as a dyslectic, have an opposite condition. I think with images and abstract concepts, not "hearing " any words in my mind, rather seeing images or experiencing different sensations. Like others wrote, when I read I have the scene in my head, just like I'd be watching a movie, but that's not limited to just reading. When I think I have to buy milk, I can see the bottle of milk standing on the shelve in the store I'm going to, I don't have the sentence "I have to buy milk" in my head. Words form inside my mind only when I have to extract some concepts to share with others, when I have to speak or write. I've read that dyslexic people don't pay attention to words that much and I strongly agree. I had many quarrels with my girlfriend, because when talking I usually say things that are only approximation of what I have in mind, while she tends to be extremely specific and expects me to be too. The thought that I would have to use only words to think, without any images seems kind of "slow" and "restricting" to me. I mean no offense, it's just that images in my head can change rapidly and one image is worth many words, while every word has to take some time to be understandable, even when "spoken" inside our minds... But well, you handle the world as good as anyone, so I guess that this non-visual way of thinking is just as good as others.

My avatar is me. Profile pictures are supposed to represent us and what's going to represent me better than myself? Also, I'm not scared of showing my face on the internet and I didn't feel like looking for a cool image to use when creating my profile. The picture was taken in 2014 during holidays while hiking in the mountains. It's a bit too dark, but I like it And I don't have a signature, because I don't need one for now

As other's stopped using spoiler tags, I'll go without them too. 1. General as Romana - I don't know and I don't much care as I haven't seen the original Who. Would be definitely fun to have a Time Lord companion! But it doesn't have to be Romana. 2. Me and Calara having their own TARDIS. I might be fine with that, but I don't like open plots like that. I'm still mad, that we had Jenny (Doctor's daughter) fly off into space to have her own adventures and never see her again. Here we have two characters flying off into space in a TARDIS and I have very strong feeling that we won't hear from them even again :/ Also, where's Captain Jack? He should be recurring character just like Osgood and that UNIT Leader are now. I miss Jack :< which brings me to my next point 3. They traveled to the "end of the universe"... My first thought: Cool, they'll meet with Ten, Jack, Martha and doctor Yana. After all "Utopia" was supposedly taking place at the end of the universe too :/ But well, I think Hell Bent was still closer to the end. 4. Clara stealing TARDIS with Me... Now, that Gallifrey is back in game I don't really see what would stop Time Lords from just snapping their fingers and bringing Clara and the stolen TARDIS back to them. From what I've read Gallifreyans had ways of imprisoning or summoning Doctor against his will, if that's still true, Clara is totally at their mercy even having a TARDIS. 5. New sonic screwdriver - cool 6. Rassilon giving up and letting himself be banished from Gallifrey just like that... WHAT?! The super megalomaniac that was about to end the universe and has that magic gauntlet is politely leaving because he's told to? For me that's very out of character for him. 7. I agree that Clara should stay dead and that Doctor's reaction to her dying, even despite that she died quite peacefully, was strange. I really don't see why he would behave that way, compared to other times when Doctor lost his companions. He had time to say goodbye to her, she accepted the fact that she's going to die... He of all people should know that death is a natural part of human life etc. Aaaand that's all for now. Will write more if I remember anything... Now please, give me a companion that's not in any way special. No paradox girls or impossible girls. I want someone very much possible, just like Rose, Martha and Dona were.
