  1. I got INTJ today, but on some other occasions I remember I scored INTP... So I guess I'm unpredictable
  2. I don't really have any unusual accent when I speak Polish. I speak like most of the Poles, so I guess I'm boring in that regard And when I speak English I'm sure I have the typical Slavic accent making words sound a bit too harsh and rough
  3. Maybe that wouldn't be much, but you can send that person a Glitter Bomb. Not directly harmful, but mighty annoying. And you'll have satisfaction when you spot some glitter on his hands/clothes
  4. So... How is your writing going?
  5. My and my GF run a temporary home for cats, and currently there are 12 cats under our roof... So I'll pass on posting pictures of all 12 of them But, we have 3 cats that are our own and that will stay with us, so I'll introduce them First, the oldest one is Misia. She's about 12 years old. She likes to behave like a noble lady. Sometimes she won't eat if we don't take her food out of her bowl and put it on the ground. Somehow, that makes it tastier I guess Next one is Eve, she was adopted by my GF when she and other kittens were found in a trash container near a school. She loves to snuggle, however, she's not happy about how crowded our flat currently is and sometimes starts fights with the cats that we temporary house. And the last one, the youngest one: Ninek. He's the biggest and the strongest cat we have, however he's afraid of humans. He lets us pet him a bit, but he'll never let us pick him up or even approach him too fast. So, those are my pets I can post some pictures of the cats that are our guests later. Some are really cute
  6. I really like my post to reputation (400 to 500) ratio right now ^^ EDIT: Damnation, I ruined it with this post D:
  7. I know you guys won't be able to understand even a word from this, but I'm in love with this performance in our polish Got Talent show: http://mamtalent.tvn.pl/sezon-8,3140,p/ania-broda,3060.htmlbeautiful music
  8. Exquisite, my lord!
  9. I personally don't get what everyone loves so much about Warbreaker. For me it is the least favourite of Sandersons books. But that is not really that important. The important thing is that Alcatraz is totally underrated and doesn't get enough love from the fans The mixture of brilliant and crazy in this series made me LoL in public places many times and I don't think that any other book has managed that. I know that it's "a book for kids" and I totally agree that kids can and should read it. However, just like with Harry Potter, adults can have a lot of fun with it too.
  10. And why do mods lock threads after 100 pages anyway? o.O I'm sure the forum can handle multi-hundred paged threads just fine...
  11. Hey, at least he'll have cake
  12. I think so too. However I'll still wait to see some more time pass for Buttercup and Rainmaker. Also I'm waiting for the actual bubble drop to happen, as it was mentioned from time to time in recent posts. Only after that drop I think it'll be ok to press on with Argon's POV.
  13. I'm 100% ready to submit all the Polish covers
  14. Obliteration, as I'm not that big fan of Nightblood
  15. I too enjoy the Cornucopy pairing And I still wait for Corvallis to reach 2 PM... Fortunately, that's OK, since reading your stories is fun
  16. Grandpa Smedry! His oculatory prowess would defeat Lightsong for sure.
  17. And my post is up. The events so far from Tenteron's perspective. Now, Winter Cloud, we should collaborate in some Google docs, for a short fight, before Kerry can save Tenteron from the difficult task of missing the ground Oh, btw. the Galeria Mokotów mall is a real place near the Warsaw Airport, one I visit from time to time But don't worry I won't include real places in the story any more as we leave Warsaw and head to the Artifact
  18. Tenteron browsed the shelves of the gift shop, annoyed that he couldn't find such basic thing as a compass. Those primitive Hushlanders replaced more and more trustworthy devices like the compass with the unreliable things called smartphones. Soon, the paper maps will be gone too... Someone bumped into him, disturbing his thoughts, reminding him where he was and that he had to hurry. He resigned from buying any maps and headed to the exit. In a couple of hours he was scheduled for extraction from the Hushlands. That left him just enough time to think of a plan... and grab something to eat. Luckily there was a huge shopping mall, not that far away from the Warsaw Chopin Airport, just a couple of bus stops away. ----------- Tenteron was sitting, proud of himself, in the middle of a crowded food court in Galeria Mokotów. He was getting better and better in blending in between the Hushlanders. He just managed to buy a meal from that big company named McDonald's and he got only a couple of odd looks while he did it. Grandpa Smedry would be proud! The fact, that he was using Melerandian to communicate here, made everyone belive that he's just a tourist, now accustomed to using local currency. So the little mistake that he made, trying to pay one thousand times more for his meal, than he was supposed to, wasn't THAT shocking for the restaurant employee. One of his pockets vibrated slightly, it was the Messanger's Glass, a very useful piece of Silimatic technology, that allowed to communicate with others. Just like the hushaland smartphones... only better, as it required you to write everything by hand, using a special glass pen. "Uncle, I just saw a flash of oculatory power, can I help you find the source?" he read. Ah, that must be from Elmina, he thought, recognizing her neat handwriting. She was studying Hushlands history in the same city. She was also one of the reasons that Tenteron ended up in Warsaw, as her father asked him to keep an eye on her. He was proud of his niece, that she showed a true Smedry spirit, wanting to investigate this flash of power without him even asking her to join. Tenteron got up and started to head to the exit, he was supposed to meet with Kerry on the top of an office building, just on the other side of the street in fifteen minutes. "Of course! After Kerry picks me up, we can come get you." He wrote just below her writing on his glass, thinking intensely about her while doing so. The Messanger's Glass would now transfer his writing to her, as long as his Talent won't interfere... It didn't happened too often, but Tenteron managed to miss with a text message sometimes, like when he was dating this beautiful princess, when he was a teenager... His long letter, with a lot of very private content, ended up on her fathers Glass... He cringed remembering the conversation with the kings that followed. "WILL EVERYONE PLEASE REMAIN IN PLACE. THERE IS A SMALL SECURITY ISSUE. CODE RED ALERT. STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE UNTIL THE INVESTIGATION IS COMPLETED." Obviously, no one remained in their place as everyone stood up and tried to leave the mall. Tenteron stood up as well and increased the sensitivity of his Oculator's Lenses. Suddenly, his Lenses made the peripherals of his vision darker. Tenteron involuntarily focused on his Talent. Second later, a Hushlander near him fell to the ground. Everyone around him started to scream and panic, probably scared that it was some kind of a terrorist attack, that were happening recently in the Hushlands. Tenteron didn't even bother to look behind, as he felt a dark terrifying presence, like a cube of ice sliding down his spine. There was no mistake, only the members of Scrivener's Bones Order had such a malevolent aura. He threw himself to the nearest corridor not blocked by panicked crowd. Unfortunately, running into that corridor wasn't the luckiest thing for him, as it ended with only one door. He pushed them desperately as the Scrivener's Bone entered the other end of the corridor. After three attempts Tenteron managed to bash the door, just to barely stop himself from falling of the edge of the roof that he run in to. Well, that sucks. He thought, as he turned around to face the twisted combination of a woman and alivened parts that stood in the doors he just destroyed. "Your move." She said as they faced off on the roof.
  19. That was really fun to read I'm gonna write Tenteron's side of those events as soon as possible
  20. I'll try to write something as soon as possible, but if you have time, then feel free to write. I recently have too much on my head, so my apologies for my inactivity. I'll have something up by Monday. If you want to write something with Tenteron, then just send me a PM, so we don't collide with our writing.
  21. My vote goes to Marsh, as Joel can only throw some chalk at him. Even if he was a rrithmatist he wouldn't stand a chance. Rithmacy is just not powerful enough.
  22. 1. You have 3 boxes, one is the winner. 2. You pick randomly one box, there is 1/3 chance, that your box is the winner. 3. Monty Hall KNOWS which one is the winner, so he won't eliminate it, he's not allowed to. He eliminates a loosing box. 4. Now see, the chances that you picked the winner on the beginning are still 1/3. Monty Hall could eliminate one loosing box no matter which one you choose. So, remembering that probability of all options has to add up to 1, the chances that the car was in the other two boxes was 2/3. 5. What happened with those 66,6% percent of car being in one of the other boxes when Monty eliminates one box? Those 66,6% get squished into one box. 6. Monty's actions couldn't affect chances of your success in the past, that's why after eliminating one box, the situation isn't changed to 50/50, but remains 33/66, as the chances that you were right on the beginning with 3 boxes couldn't change.
  23. Here you are, smaller version: http://i.imgur.com/87X5PO9.jpg?1
  24. Finally, a bit of movement in the RP Venture, I'm gonna put Tenteron into some trouble so you can pick him up. I just have to come up with an idea of what kind of trouble I want him in...
