  1. Robots all get lashed to space or take Division to the face. Or get soulcast, etc. Would it be possible to spike the android with allomancy or feruchemy? Can he burn his own parts or store in them?
  2. Invested Internet you say? I wonder what will happen if we turned every computer into a type IV biochromatic entity.
  3. Wait, is this the normal Spook? HoA spoilers
  4. Time bubbles aren't solid. Things get shot and thrown out of, into, and through them on a regular basis. In fact, now they'll reach you at super speed and only slow down when they touch the bubble.
  5. Depends on how much investiture that chunk you spiked out is worth I guess? It's probably less than Nightblood himself for sure.

A bit of a tangent, but why would a Koloss or Inquisitor contain the power of Ruin in the first place anyway? The spikes just contain pieces of a spiritweb and nothing else. Human attributes might be a mix of the shards in the case of Koloss, but Inquisitor allomantic spikes would most likely be pure Preservation. The allomancy itself also draws power from Preservation except when it is drawing power from atium.
  7. She did pretty much ask for it by showing up though. The process could've already reached the point of no return as soon as the gem broke. Parshendi had a tendency to bond the wrong spren before they learned to trap them, so perhaps once attraction is achieved there's really no stopping the spren from smashing into your chest.
  8. So he speaks a modern language perfectly after so long has passed since the Last Desolation . . . interesting.
  9. If spiritual bonds work anything like chemical ones between atoms, you will need more energy to break the existing bonds before forming a new one. Rlain looks fine, so that's some evidence towards bonded Listeners with forms being safe. Which leaves Rlain, and possibly that group of escapees, assuming they somehow survived.
  10. You keep insisting that blessings differ from normal spikes? If anything the most absurd decay we should've seen is Vin's bronze, yet it is still strong enough to pierce copperclouds after all that.
  11. Well, here we have buddhism, which is really more a philosophy of detachment than a religion, then fast forward a few thousand years and we're instead worshipping the guy and some other people and praying for stuff they explicitly told us to not care about. Religions tend to end up becoming completely different from how they started out I guess.
  12. When you are not surprised that there are about half a dozen different spambots posting different things on a forum simultaneously.
  13. Well they can take that hit. Probably not for very long, but better than getting magically cut in half.
  14. Could've sworn Roshar had higher oxygen content in the atmosphere than Earth . . . They're supposed to be getting airsick and all.
  15. About as much as the Almighty is Honor. In that he's a religious figure very inaccurately based on Dominion more likely than not.
  16. Sparks, hoser. I'm trying to read the Calamity excerpt here. I'm allowed to do Earth swears.
  17. I do believe Szeth says it is above the cloud layer. So maybe?
  18. Why on earth would a birthmark need to be healed?
  19. A new one just occurred to me after seeing someone's thoughts on Ruin's level of control in HoA. Ascending to the power of a Shard and obtaining the power of creation itself, having the world at your fingertips. . . So that you can use your expanded mind to have amazing micro and macro management skills while playing Starcraft.
  20. Good job overstraining our Lifeless budget. The thread was only 16 months and 4 days old.
  21. I'd like to point out that lerasium has been described to do something completely different allomantically, and turning people into mistborn is just a side effect of the power flowing through.
  22. A story that never ends and then just vanishes quietly after the force driving it finally disappears is probably the most sad way to go. I'd much rather him finish the cosmere saga and then start a new one with all those ideas of his.
  23. Lifeless had always been multi-breath. A lot of research and ichor-alcohol went into efforts to make them single-breath entities. That, and lifeless squirrels.

Koloss-blooded lack spikes but still seem to exhibit some of the modifications, probably due to the mutations being so extreme as to become permanent and inheritable. Nobody ever kills a koloss and notices it shrink again or anything, so a lifeless koloss should still be somewhat superhuman even if the spikes cease function. Though perhaps with strength more accurate to their muscle mass.

If we soulcast a koloss into metal or stonr while retaining its organs and muscles' structure and then awakened it as a lifeless (well, it was alive) . . . Plate it with some of that shardblade-proof substance too for good measure. With aluminum plating as well. Won't hurt.
