Here we go again. I've found a way to copy over the old Geo Tracking Map to my new one, which I can edit. I'll also try and find a way to make some other people moderators of the map, to keep it updated in case something happens and I forget about it. Anyhow, I talk too much. Linky. (Please note: The original map I borrowed was updated more than a year ago. Many of the newer members will not be here.) List of Sharders by Country/ Continent will be upcoming whenever I can be bothered. Please, tell me who I've missed. (Especially tell me if you want admin rights.) Restriction to be on the map: You must have at least 10 posts and have been around at least 1 fortnight. Otherwise, we'll have a heap of people nobody's heard of. Sorry. Admins to the map: The Young Bard (PM me if you have any problems) Honor Spren Curious Anaximder (formerly Venture Mistborn) Darkness Ascendant Bleeder ccstat

Random Stuff V - The Adminpire Strikes Back
Young Bard replied to Orlion Blight's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
I just got a shirt with this on it: While extremely cool, I'm sure it's satiring a Bolshevik Revolution poster. None of you would happen to know it, would you? -

What city do you live in? Actually, I'll try and restart the Sharder Location thing. That was really interesting. Such a shame it bombed out. I'll do it tomorrow. -
Wow... That's just creepy. Good job.

Be sure to select your area here. You can have any area you like (so long as it's not taken.)

Yep... I can trump all of that. Australian people. Atheists. EDIT: Actually, they weren't as bad as I was expecting. I've seen a lot worse for both of those. (Some American tourists were amazed that we didn't all act like Crocodile Dundee. Either that or something out of Neighbours, the universally hated show in Australia. And atheists... well, everyone knows they secretly worship the devil.) -
Sorry for the delay... Busy Days. It should be up to date now. (With the exception of Twi. I'm hoping she'll still come round and join back in.) EDIT: Or not. An uploading issue... My computer's acting funny. I'll upload it when I can. Maybe I'll do it via imgur, and then copy it into here? EDIT 2: Fixed. It is now up to date.

Random Stuff V - The Adminpire Strikes Back

Unfortunately, that's not always possible... I wake up, and Chrome doesn't work. That's fine for me, I have about 4 browsers (and I just re-installed it), but someone who only has one browser would be in a lot of trouble. Apparently, it wasn't compatible with Windows 10, even though I've been using Chrome on Windows 10 for the past 4 months with no reported issues. -

Yeah... I remember venturing off into Creepy Pasta wiki once. I instantly found one that was directly relevant to me, which are the ones I find most chilling. (e.g. Blink, The Waters of Mars, etc.) This piece is honestly one of the scariest short story pieces I have read. It starts off fairly mundane... -
There is a trick to creating spoiler tags, 50 Metals, if you would like to learn. (Note: To demonstrate the code, I've added spaces between the brackets. Remove these.) The trick is to place [ spoiler] and [ /spoiler] on either side of the spoilery text. This will produce this:

Is this how one does the Internet?
Young Bard replied to Blue the Feelspren's topic in Introduce Yourself!
Welcome? Who's your favorite Doctor? And what Sanderson books have you read? What's your favorite out of the ones you've read so far? -
Wow... I'm away here for 48 hours, and someone's done it for me. Well done, McKeedee. You've saved me a lot of time. The other thing I think we need is a summary of what you need to know. People walking in and seeing a 30 page document put them off. I mean, both Mist and Twi got put off by it. If you can see a half page document which is everything you need to know, then it will be a lot easier.

Seriously? We go from the Avengers to bra sizes in 2 pages? I call a record low on this thread. To rescue you all, I'm switching topic. I just watched the Silence of the Library 2 parter to start reminding myself of the River Song storyline before Christmas. It probably wasn't a good idea to do that after dark... -
This is it. They had an old one, then they had new ones when the old ones were reached. They didn't bother between 10 and 25+ thousand, because Kobold had achieved / was very close to achieving that anyway.

*Spoilers* Regarding Calamity (The Satellite)
Young Bard replied to Young Bard's topic in The Reckoners
If they're given too much, yes. I just had my re-read as well. The problem is, I always think of something that's intriguing, but not incorrect. My original thought for Steelheart's weakness was the crossfire thing, until David mentioned it. Then I knew that wasn't it. It's a similar story with this. I've actually been tinkering around with the theory since before Firefight, but now I know that's not the case. -
(Group) AMA w/ Brandon and Others on Dec 3
Young Bard replied to Argent's topic in Events and Signings
Highlights: (taken from Argent's links) Nergaoul is an Unmade (even though we've guessed, it hasn't been explicitly confirmed.) The Moon Sceptre acts as a 'Rosetta Stone', which makes it 'much easier' to allow Selish Investiture to work elsewhere (it overcomes the location barrier somehow). Presumably, this is why Hoid wanted it. -
Maybe that's where the mould came from? I don't think we ever worked out what, specifically that was. (Although, an early draft made it dead mitochondrial bacteria things.) Also, possibly relevant. The leatherbound cover has Aon Ela portrayed strongly on the front. Probably because it has some special significance. I would say this is a confirming factor.

The Bands Of Mourning preview chapter (SPOILERS)

No prologue this time? Or is it just not shown in the preview? Linky to the chapter, in case anyone hasn't found it. Thoughts...- 39 replies

Is anyone interested in a Diaemus banner to put in signatures? It would increase numbers around here (hopefully), so I think it would be a good idea.

First result on Google for 'bow tie or cravat' is this page. http://fashion.telegraph.co.uk/news-features/tmg8504920/Bow-tie-or-Cravat.html Seriously... People actually think about... and get paid for thinking about... this stuff? What is this world? It can't be Earth.
