https://youtu.be/o0u4M6vppCI How come the last random stuff thread was filled in under a month? That seems... slightly excessive. Time for a bit of OCD indulgement...

Leave it to me. I've sort of stolen 2 of your maps into the Maps and Cartography thread already. I'm trying to remember if there was anything else that was needed. If it's too large, I'll shrink it down, or add it to the Maps and Cartography thread instead. EDIT: Looking through the photos, I intend to save the last 4 to the wiki, as they are up to date. If anyone wants me to add anything else, post here or PM me. Also, who is working on the Kashora'an Desert? Is Winter still trying to keep up?

This was the first of aforementioned music projects I took charge of... A month ago, I wouldn't have gotten that reference. Also, that headache you get when you try to think of a through-line to connect all those awesome ideas you have for a story.

"For a start, you." The helicopter man pointed at this self-proclaimed 'Shard of Chaos'. "You've attacked a highway vehicle. Hereby, you are banned from entering the highway for a period of six months." The Shard of Chaos looked back, a slight face expression just beginning to form. But the helicopter driver was faster. Time to have some fun. Picking up a doll from his backpack, he grabbed a hair from Chaos' head, wrapped it around the doll, and flung it down one of the alleys. Chaos had just enough time to look surprised before following. When she arrived back near the highway, no doubt planning bloody murder, but she was unable to get in. The others looked slightly stunned. "Now, what can I do for all of you folks?" Why is this turning into an RP??? I didn't start it out that way exclusively. Oh well.

Don't you dare finish another one. You'll make me look bad.

Elbereth - I'd say mid to late 20's. Voidus - I second Elbereth. 30's. You're humour is Pythonesque, and you have a sort of exuberance to you, but you seem to deliberately go out of your way to do that, rather than having it be your 'normal' speech. Does that make sense? That's the most accurately I can describe it. My age, for those who can't be bothered checking my profile: Also, I really need to stop accidentally taking charge of projects. The music teacher said he would like a 'group task' for the end of the year, and everyone immediately zoned out. I sort of accidentally took charge, and now I've been given the super fancy title of executive director (because, YOLO.) The thing is, this is the second time this has happened. And I don't particularly want to take charge, which makes it really irritating.

I would pay to see that. *goes off to photoshop chain mail onto a grandmother's photo* Also, re. ages (I am a horrible guesser, and I haven't really consciously considered this before. Don't judge.): Delightful - early 20's? Cognitive - I was way out - I had you in your mid-30's. But as I said, I didn't know you that well. Slowswift - late teens??? RippleGlyf - 17/18??? Mistrunner - 16, maybe? Morzathoth - 17/18??? Allomancy - 15? Lark - 14, perhaps? Chouta - Don't really know you well enough, but I'll just say maybe 16, purely based on your profile pic and your last couple posts here. Honor Spren - 16, 17 perhaps??? Anyone want to take a stab in the dark about mine (even though it's on my profile?)

How do you do that thing where you quote from across posts? I know it involves BBCode somehow, I just haven't worked out the trick.

the most useless uses for useful powers

Forge a stamp to make a table... exactly the way it already is. Make a metal balloon without the string. Balance it in the air with your Coinshot-abilities. -
Is there anybody in the whole Sanderverse...
Young Bard replied to Alfa's topic in General Brandon Discussion
To raise an eyebrow or not to raise an eyebrow, that is the question. -
Maybe Honor and Odium are the same person with multiple personality disorder. Seriously, we don't have enough information to be able to rule out anything at the minute. Most of the little information we do have has been tainted from the War of Loss era, and Brandon has consistently RAFO'ed a lot of the questions. Which basically leaves us with the prelude. Which we only hear to provide a sense of drama and gravitas for the rest of the book. And is probably biased based on the herald's opinion. For all we know, the Herald's torture could have been a small footnote at the bottom of the Oathpact.

I just realized that I have a higher rep count than one of the head admin... *mind blown*

Ironically, none of the admin or mods fit the personality given for the admin and mods. Strange. (Except maybe Zas and Shivertongue. I don't see them around much.)

Better say this quickly - Heaven Sent / Hell Bent theories? A lot of people, including most of the Whovians at school are screaming "Return of Gallifrey!" Personally, I think that it might not be (I say might, though) a full return. I think Moffat is planning to eventually, but I think he'll do it much later. It can be used as a sort of weapon, a sort of build up can be made. "If Gallifrey returns, all hell will break loose." I think he would have built that up more in this series if that's what he intended to do. That being said, I'm almost convinced they'll make an appearance. They'll almost certainly play some role in whatever comes up. I just don't know what it will be. Thoughts?

There are some really weird tenses out there. In English, there are so many that we're just expected to know automatically which one to say and say it appropriately without even knowing it's name (or even if we've swapped over the course of a paragraph.) Case in point: The Pluperfect Subjunctive case. This is actually a legitimate name. Go look it up if you don't believe me. I mean, seriously. The Pluperfect Subjunctive case? It sounds like something that a 6 year old would write when trying to sound intelligent.

A helicopter whirled down from the sky, slowly touching down on the pavement next to the assorted group. Oh hell, thought the helicopter driver, as he climbed out. Schrodinger's lost his car again. The car, which seemed to be both destroyed and not destroyed, stood there, and didn't stand there. It was almost as strange as the people around the car/smoldering heap. "Will someone please tell me what's going on here?" asked the helicopter driver. "Bear in mind, if you answer incorrectly, I may be forced to deport you from the highway."

Sharders React to their First Few Posts
Young Bard replied to Comatose's topic in General Discussion
I actually had a bit of a Snoopy/Kipper issue with my first account. I was originally TenSoon. Then stuff happened, and I wasn't able to log back in. After a few months demoted to lurker, I created a new account, in the form you see today (as the Young Bard). The biggest thing about my old account is that I had this mask thing as my profile pic. Looking at it now, I think it's just creepy. To this day, I have no idea why I picked it. Anyway. My first post. -
Push half the people off the bridge. Walk away once it's done. Simple. Exactly. I didn't even realized he'd become an Ookla, it was over so fast. 12 hours, and he was him again. Blink and you... oh wait. Also, no-one has actually said outright who I am (though a few people have said they worked it out.)

Okay. This is weird. A few prominent Sharders, namely Winter Cloud and WayneSpren, seem to have been banned. This is... quite surprising to me, as they both were prominent Sharders, and they both seemed to be fairly nice people. Is this for real? Or is this some sort of prank by the admins (special code) or is it just my computer being... special again?

Does anyone know why Winter is appearing as Banned? Is this a mistake, a prank, or did something happen? (WayneSpren is also appearing as banned. They're both prominent members of the Shard, so I can honestly say I'm surprised. Everybody else does see this, and my computer's not just acting funny, right?) Kudos to TwiLyght for catching me up on the news. I'm leaving Winter up on the map, as hopefully she'll resume her role in the RP in May. In the meantime, with all the people dropping out, I think we just need to...

Sneaky way to find out the actual names of the Ooklas
Young Bard replied to baby's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Although, I personally think this should be disabled during Ookla Season, just to make it that touch trickier. Maybe I should start a petition...
