Hey, welcome! You could totally stick to the Cosmere books, but there are a lot of fantastic books outside of it. The Reckoners stories are really good, so are the Alcatraz and Legion books. Ya gotta read those.

Granted, but you smell all funny now. There are obvious ramifications for that. I wish to have the greatest cookie in the universe, be able to eat it, and have a mouth with teeth in them. The crunch is half the experience of the greatest cookie (GC). The GC must be delicious to my taste buds, crunchy, invested, and aged perfectly. No. Wait. That last one was for cheese. Whatever. The GC just has to be awesome and edible.

There was a story told about a place where the water was drained from the world. Could that be a tail of another shardpool? Water is often a representation of life, water was being drained from the world. 1+2= Life was drained from the world through or around this pool. It could be a disguised shardpool. I don't know.

Lol, yes! That's pretty much how it is. Shallan in book two is a wuss and Vin is a boss in all respects.

The reason I like Chess 960 is because it throws the whole game out of whack. There are no opening moves to memorize, no patterns to fall back on, it's just you and the opponent doing your best to outsmart each other with what they are given. I find this form of the game to be more telling than the regular one because it's more personal. Just so you know, I never memorized any play styles and I never plan to. I just play the best defense I can think of in a normal defense and win about half the time. All you need to do is get used to how the pieces move. Once you have that down, you can defend and attack well. It's basic Art of War stuff.

I wasn't aware that Nalan was the one who tried to kill Lift. Good to know. What if he didn't recover his blade, but someone else recovered theirs and are just living among the Stone Shamans. That'd be cool.

When you make a special trip to Idaho just for a book signing even though you know he's coming to the city you live in a week later. (I didn't do it, but someone might have. )

First, his friends are getting high and he's just staying away from it. He cut his girlfriend giving her a scar and there is some sort of officer asking about it. The "if" shouldn't be omitted because the sentence is an if then statement. It goes on to the next line. Set the world on fire is an idiom for something, but I just can't remember what. It was on Jeapordy, you could probably find it. "Maybe we could find new ways to fall apart." He is trying to convince a girl he knows to sleep with him and it's working. He gets interrupted by his friends who are back so the raise a GLASS not CUP because he found someone to carry him home *wink*. The angels thing is about how he thinks God left him so it's okay to drink and party or whatever. The last part means "hey, we're both super drunk, let's go have sex!" There you go. Now you get the song. Are you any good at understanding imagery? My rant goes something like this: In a few days it will be a year to the day since my best friend killed himself. Jerk. I miss him so much, but at the same time I am having the hardest time forgiving him for what he did. I can't get his stupid laugh out of my head and I can't let him go, either. I lay awake night after night bawling my eyes out and cursing his name at the same time. Such contradictory and complimentary emotions as hate and love for a kid who was like a brother to me cannot be described further. I want him alive for sure, but it's not possible for him to be. I miss him so much.

When Hoid is telling the story of Fleet, Kaladin thought that another hand joined Hoid's to help him play the music, but he didn't want to open his eyes to find out. Do you think Hoid Awakened something to help him? It's possible that he awakened his coat or something and made it play music. That would be a really complicated command, but someone with Hoid's mental capabilities shouldn't have too much trouble using it. Thoughts? Yay, nay?
