  1. Hoid. Normally, I'm against siding with him in theories. We don't know enough about him. In this case, however, I have a reason. Shardblades are more powerful than most of the powers in Scardrial, but it would hardly harm Hoid. Besides, Hoid is said to have most of the same powers of TLR. No contest.
  2. Thank you for responding. I was beginning to think no one would ever say a word on this post. I didn't see the rules say anything about posting in that thread, so I didn't know it was a convention. I'll do that in the future! I look forward to reading your submissions, Mandamon!
  3. Agreed. I also agree that Bondspren don't fit into the category. So, four groupings?
  4. There are several similarities between Ender's Game and Firstborn. It's as if Ender was Peter in Firstborn. That is honestly what drew me into the book in the first place. I loved it! Even technologies were similar. I love the passage of time in it as well. Incredible work.
  5. What about dunk spren? That would be a sensation wouldn't it?
  6. That's all well and good, Moogle. You still didn't address the questions. Is lying an integral part of cultivation?
  7. No, I get all of that. What I said was part of Honor and Cultivation is Lie Spren and Honor Spren. My premise isn't flawed. At least, not in the way you are saying it is.
  8. Seriously? No one read it?
  9. Honor and Cultivation deteriorated into Honor Spren as well as Lie Spren. Wha...???? Does that mean that lies are an integral part of cultivation? In order to build something, you have to deceive someone? Or, is lying an integral part of honor? Yin Yang, balance in all things. Without lies, there is no honor. Or is it both? To build something you have to have honor and to grow your honor, you must reject your lies?
  10. Back to the topic, the King can hand out princedoms on a whim. He is the final authority in that regard. Not that it means much when we are talking about Elhokar, but that's how they set Aladar in as Highprince.
  11. Anti matter, then? I don't know. I'm just playing with ideas.
  12. Granted, but no linger have a mouth. Find your own imaginative way to eat the cookie. I wish my cow would give us some milk.
  13. Granted, but that was all you had. You now have no other possessions to your name. I wish to go to the festival. Edit: the King's festival.
  14. As well as Elantris, you have bread Mitosis, the Sixth of Dusk, The Emperor's Soul, and Firstborn. The other books of Sanderson are well worth the read.
  15. Um... Stormlight Archive? Have you read the second book? You have much to read, young one. Your journey is one of great excitement and disappointment as you explore the Cosmere and all other BS books. Mitosis will leave you proud of human accomplishment. The Emperor's Soul will force you to look inward. Warbreaker will leave you breathless. Good luck.
  16. So, she has even less power than Navani to affect politics.
  17. With the death of Sadeas, wouldn't Ialai be of the same social standing that Navani was with the death of Gavilar? People would suffer her, but she would have no real power. Just a thought.
  18. Granted, however all other mistakes you have made are laid bare before the world. I wish for a perfect memory.
  19. I love Hoid in WoR so much. His conversations with the lizard thing at the end are priceless!

  20. What if Calamity was a spontaneous gathering of Dark Matter that had an inverse effect on the human race? I don't know.
  21. Alright. Since submitting this prologue, I have revised a couple of things and fixed one or two typos. Any who, if you got the e-mail, let's hear the critiques. Be as harsh as you want, I have a pretty thick skin.
  22. My point still stands. Stop treating theories as Canon. The Letter was just a convenient example.
  23. No prob, Bob.
  24. I didn't. I can up vote you to balance it out, though.
  25. Um... No. People treat ALL their theories as canon. That is what I am down voting and denunciating. I couldn't care less if they have different opinions, but opinion isn't Canon.
