Brandon has said that Shardblades are mostly immune to Pushing and Pulling (in the context of somebody asking who would win between Szeth and a Mistborn). I guess you'd need a duralumin-boosted Push or Pull to affect them.
Also Zas, Brandon has said he didn't have time to write annotations for WoK during the copyedit but he will write some when rereading it before writing Stormlight 2.
I play the piano, and I also own a violin. I'd like to learn to play the hammer dulcimer, I foun some videos of people playing it on youtube and I really like the sound of it.
currently 1/3 of the way through The Name Of The Wind. Have Wise Man's Fear in a package on my desk, I've prevented myself from reading it out of turn by leaving it packaged.
well the letter said Rayse/Odium's visit to Sel was "brief" and Brandon has said it took place before the events of Elantris, which happened 500 years before WoK, so I'd guess Odium's been back from Sel for quite some time.
I know I've seen that quote somewhere, re : Pushing on Shardblades, just can't remember which interview it's from.
Edit: a separate low power bracket would be cool. We could throw Vivenna into that one too and Hrathen.
lol it ticks me off too. I realize it was kind of necessary for the plot and all, but it was kind of a dumb thing to do......
And I agree, Dalinar needs his Blade and Plate in order to be a match for most of the rest of the bracket.
