well IDK if you can just give up a Shard like that, I think once you take the whole thing, you can't give it up voluntarily and have to be killed to be separated from it.

actually Brandon has specifically said in an interview (think it was the goodreads.com one) that Hoid isn't a Shardholder.

I don't think Saze's advice requires any mind-reading, especially if he knows Wax and knows the kind of situations he gets himself into, which he may well do, seeing as Wax is a leading member of what seems to be an important house, and Saze probably keeps tabs on such people.

Ha, Chaos agrees with me, Also Squaliior, yes the kandra spikes were made by killing a human, and also those kinds of spikes twist/alter the recipient worse then spikes stealing allomantic and feruchemical powers because they steal the deep fundamental aspects of the soul, or something.

I just assumed he could talk to Wax cause Wax believes in him (like Kel was able to talk to Spook cause of Spook's faith), and the spike is symbolic, although if it *was* a kandra that gave him the earring it's possible that Saze specifically wanted Wax to have an active spike for some reason and had her give him the earring. Also lol at the aluminum foil hats!

TenSoon might show up again (Saze or somebody stuck the spikes back in the kandra after everything was over).

Nothing saying we can't get new non-focus viewpoints as well, just saying Szeth will get the focus in book 4. Also, I was reading the other day, and I noticed that in the part where Dalinar saves Bridge 4 from being shot to bits by enraged Parshendi, Kaladin notices that his armour "seemed to glow.". So that's another apparent example of Dalinar's Plate being glowy. Also Syl likes him apparently, which is quite telling. He's almost certainly on the path to Radiantnenss.

The Stormfather is Jezrien. Although some people think Jez got hold of some of Honor's power after the original holder of that Shard (Tanavast) was killed.

he didn't get time to write chapter annotations during the copy editing like he usually does so he'll write them when he re-reads the book before writing book two, which will be after he finishes writing WoT. So the annotations will appear sometime next year probably.
