I kind of pictured them looking like the Dremora from the Elder Scrolls series of games. Only without the horns. Dremora have red/black skin, and there's even a fan-theory that they grow their armour, because you can't loot it from them. Which, given Jasnah's revelations about the parshman/Parsehendi possibly being Voidbringers, becomes scarily appropriate.

I think Brandon shot that idea down already.

seeing as people who've given away their Breath are still sentient, I'm not sure it works. Breath is probably a piece of Endowment but it doesn't bestow sentience.

presumably if they didn't have enough Preservation to be Mistborn and didn't have the proper SDNA it wouldn't do anything, except make it so you could make them Mistborn with another nugget. Now if you used an alloyed nugget of lerasium and another metal you might be able to make an offworlder a misting.

I actually get the impression from reading the abstract that light-eyed people are more likely to get addicted because they need to drink more to get pleasant mental effects and are more likely to build a physical dependence. Also, you have blue eyes don't you?

Brandon has said that the spelling in HoA was a typographical error. It's spelled as Adonalsium in WoK.

Sazed doesn't like Hemalurgy, don't think he's going to want anybody using it. Also, I suspect that the few living people as of the end of HoA that have even a vague idea about it aren't going to want to talk about it, it's probable that nobody's going to know about it after they die. Although I have an image of a bullet ending up as a accidental spike, by going through one person and hitting another. Mind you, that would take an insane amount of luck to create a useful spike.

Ruin was very sneaky about it. Sometimes a little bit of messing around goes a long way. It's something that's occurred to me before. I wonder how you'd stop him? Carve it into gemstones? Gemstones seem to be the items of power on Roshar. Would be a pain in the neck though, even the big gemhearts aren't big enough to easily carve much into one, you'd need a bunch of them to get any serious writing done. Alhough I kind of feel like that would be doing the same thing that Brandon did in Mistborn, and it's kind of predictable. Still, if Odium does have that ability, no reason why he wouldn't use it...... We've only had the first book of ten and Brandon loves twists (that make perfect sense once you understand what's going on). I'd say just about anything could happen.
