  1. Yes please.
  2. Don't let Chaos fool you; his long posts are awesome. The members of TWG seemed to be about 1/3 Mormon, if not less. Besides, I've enjoyed the majority of conversations I've had with forum-going Mormons about religion. They seem to be very good at accepting other views even if they don't agree with them (up to a certain point). Partially because it's part of their religion, and partially because their religion isn't well accepted by the more established religions. Most people that participate in these forums are cool, interesting people no matter what their religion is, so I wouldn't worry about that kind of thing too much. I really like this (and TWG, RIP) community because there's a relatively small user base, but enough people to keep it lively. High fives all around!
  3. Welcome! Mentioning religion (and politics) usually isn't a problem on most forums, but discussion of it tends to be relegated to a heavily-moderated subforum. I don't remember anything specific about religion on the rules here, but one of the admins is sure to be around to welcome you and can shed some light on that. French the llama! A Nerd Fighter! I do some of that here and there, but (as with most things) I lurk a lot. Have you finished Brotherhood 2.0? All 700+ videos on the channel? Favorite brother? Favorite video? I think you'll find the crowd here to be plenty jokes.
  4. Ad nauseum? That should be at negative rep. Edit: Latin jokes are always funny, right?
  5. Welcome (a year later)! I think I remember you being on TWG, but I'm not sure as you say you haven't been on another fan site before.
  6. Dan loves bacon a whole lot. More than his entire family, even. More than anyone else in the world. Maybe more than any being in the universe. And when I say this, I can only guarantee that it's true in the sense of him liking bacon more than the people/creatures mentioned like bacon, though it's possible that he also likes bacon more than he likes these people/creatures. To get this rolling, here's the latest scoop on bacon R&D: BEEFIEST BACON.
  7. Sprig choosing to let the TWG die isn't surprising, but it is sad that someone decided to hack it and sad to see it go. Dan's bacon thread will be missed. I am more than happy to call this home from now on.
  8. sorry, it seems I accidentally downvoted your latest post in your welcome topic >.> it was awesome :)

  9. If that's the deal, you may as well call it Endowment Enterprises. Then you get the bonus traffic at meetings from the crowd that responds to shady emails.
  10. @Em Pleased to meet you, my good man. Would you care to join my tight-knit group of ritzy young men who commit petty crimes? We haven't decided on a name yet, but we're thinking of calling ourselves simply "gang". We considered "Hershelites" after Sir William, but someone pointed out what he discovered and the ridicule our fellow gentlemen would be able to heap upon us should any rival group that is bound to appear knew the least bit of scientific history. @SOM1else I am aware of Adonalsium. I also know of Hoid's planet-hopping ways. Really need to read WoK though, and I'm committed to something that'll take at least a week, so that may take a while longer. :/ @Feather That's a pretty good pitch, especially since it's impossible to reject reputation points. Are you sure your day job isn't "Pyramid Scheme Executive"?
  11. Thanks for the welcomes. I now have a system in place to back up locally. I've been thinking of clouding it up too via Amazon's free 5GB, but I'm not a fan of extra software. Maybe I'll go for it regardless. I found love in the "briefcase" feature in Windows. Makes backing up to a portable drive super-easy and awesome. I didn't know it existed, but apparently it has been around for ages. It's good to be back. I'd best read WoK so I can venture into the speculation forums again.
  12. Oh, the whimsmanity! Not to be confused with my fakereal-Time-Life suggestive spread that's hung in imaginary girls' closets everywhere.
  13. I second that. Thirded. Wait, what? Note: Ee is my fake-life brother. Fake life is like real life in that it doesn't work in a way that makes sense.
  14. Yo. I'm sortitus, real name Titus, nickname sort/sortie. Calling me by my real name works too. I hail from the Time Waster's Guide, where I still occasionally lurk. I'm special because I once read the entire TWG archives (spoiler: not that exciting for the most part), though I don't remember half of it. I also used to read every post that went through TWG because I'm crazy. I'm hoping to come back to online communities slowly and maintain more healthy habits than repeatedly refreshing the new posts page. Like many people here, I like to write. I haven't done much lately because my hard drive died a month ago and my last backup was six months old, so I'm kinda annoyed and rrrrrrrg yes. I occasionally binge on anime and RPGs with the extra excuse of "research". Not that anyone needs an excuse to binge on anime an RPGs, but still. I use this username everywhere. Steam, gmail, facebook, TWG, etc. Feel free to attack me other places! P.S. I once had a conversation where I was pretending to be an astronaut and my friend was "Houston". The entire interchange was not actually about shuttle launch, but making out with a horse. And now I've said too much.
